Sunnydale, California. Tori never thought she'd be in a place like this. She never thought she'd return to this state after her family moved away from here. It felt like fate was leading her back to where it all started and that Sunnydale acted as the last pit stop along the way. Dressed in a long sleeve white sweat shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a camouflage jacket zipped up and made complete with a hood that was over her head, Tori made her way inside a bar called Willy's Place.
Upon entering Tori immediately picked up on a horrible stench, contributing it to the undead vampires sitting at the tables drinking. Suddenly she felt the urge to break all their spines but shook that off as she remembered the reason why she was here in the first place. Dropping her hood, the young potential sat down up at the bar where Willy himself was bartending.
“Willy The Snitch, I presume?” asked Tori. “The one and only but Willy ain't no snitch. What can I do you for?” “I'm looking for a demon. Word on the street is you're the person to talk to.” “You believe everything you hear on the streets?” “I believe what I can see with my own eyes,” replied Tori as she looked around to the various vampires and couple of demons sitting at the tables on the other side of the bar. “Look, lady, a lot of demons come through here. It's a regular Hell's Kitchen.”
Willy chuckled to himself, but he stopped as soon as he saw the glare coming from the redhead who didn't look to be in the mood for jokes. Why were these the only kinds of women that ever came through here? “You'd know when you saw this one. Eight feet tall, black, silver horns, enough power to burn down an entire neighborhood. Know anything about him?” “Never heard anything about it.” Tori scowled, being able to see the obvious lie plain on his face as she began to rise up from her stool. “Look, I don't know how people normally get information out of you but I'm not in the mood to jump through hoops. Now here how it's going to be, either you tell me what I want to know or I start staking people!”
Tori drew her wooden stake to further prove her point as Willy was quick to beg her to put that away and sit back down before any of the other customers saw it. Tori did just that and sat back down on her stool as Willy looked far more reasonable to cooperate now. “All right. I heard from this guy that this HUGE demon ran pass his men like they were boxes of tissue papers, know what I mean? Said he was looking for the followers of Sineya.” “Who's Sineya?” “You tell me. But if he's here just to cause trouble he's as good as gone when Buffy gets a hold of him.” “Buffy?” “You don't know who Buffy is? Nice looking blond lady who comes through here on occasion and beats up on ol' Willy for no reason.” “I can't imagine why anyone would want to beat up on you,” replied Tori sarcastically. “Where was the demon last seen?” “By the Docks. Not a lot of places for a demon that size to hide. That's all I know, hand to God.” “Thanks for the help, Willy.” “You're welcome. You see, more people that come in here should be like you. No need to beat up on poor ol' Willy.”
Tori didn't say anything else in conclusion. She stood up from her seat and made her walk towards the door with every intention on leaving. That was until...

(OCC-Hi, hope you don't mind me joining. Btw, I'm new so feel free to criticize my mistakes ) Remus felt confused, he'd been walking for days, and nothing looked familiar enough for him to know where he was going. He was walking through a town, searching upward at every building he could see, and knocking into almost every person he went passed. He hadn't had a vision for a while and hoped that they wouldn't come back. So for now he was focusing on finding food and some form of shelter he could use until he had fixed the puzzle in his head. Remus heard a clatter of noise coming from a building to his left. It was a bar, according to the sign, but it didn't look like the most attracting of places. He took a deep breath and immediately retched. The smell coming from the bar was even worse than its appearance. He took a step back from the bar to get rid of the smell. But as he foot step back, it landed on the point of another shoe. Remus twisted round to apologise to the person whose foot he stepped on, but his word were quickly swallowed. A vampire, hungry by the look in his eyes, was staring down at Remus. Once he saw Remus's shock, he smiled evilly. "Such a pity that the first blood bag I meet would happen to be a young lad like you." He said calmly. Remus closed his mouth and stepped back towards the bar's front door. The vampire also stepped forward, his hand fixed in a claw-like position. Remus waited, he knew what the vampire was about to do, he didn't know how he knew, but he knew how to defend himself. Suddenly the vampire burst forwards towards Remus, his claw-like hand out in front of him. In a split second, Remus twisted on his heels and dodged the vampires pounce. He listened to the crash as the vampire rolled through the doors of the bar, to surprise whoever was inside… [color=Red

Wedge slowly sipped his firewater, a little irritated at the lack of taste. How he longed for his life back on the Mon Remonda. Even a few MREs would make him a little happier about his current situation, as long as they had the New Republic logo imprinted, or even Imperial. His feelings halted upon seeing the redhead enter the area. Wedge was in no position to be making assumptions, but his gut told him she wasn't here for a good time. He watched her actions out of the corner of his eye, analyzing her actions and movements. The words she spoke did not make it to his ears, but enough spec-op training taught him that she was definitely looking for some trouble. This thought was only confirmed by the drawing of that wooden stick, something he found particularly crude.
She obviously doesn't mind getting her hands dirty with her work. That wouldn't go through a centimeter of durasteel, and that's pretty standard on Imperial armor. What is she thinking by intimidating a barkeep with a stick? thought he, hand reaching to his blaster to check the warmth of the indicator, telling him the blaster was primed and ready to fire. He never went anywhere shady like this without it. This place, whatever it was, definitely gave him the notion that he would need more than just a blaster, but since an X-wing does not fit through a doorway, and Mynock was busy making repairs and systems calibrations, he had to go alone. Hopefully it would not be something he would regret by the next day.
When the redhead rose, Wedge finished off his firewater and stood as well, only after she turned away. He felt eyes upon him as he moved, and it made the hairs on his neck begin to stand on end. If there was one thin Wedge hated about his senses, it would be the feeling of his hairs on end as he was on foot. That never meant something good. The man rolling into the door did little to alleviate his notion, and his hand instinctively went to his blaster. He was not a scoundrel, he would not shoot first, but he wanted to be the one to shoot last.

Tori came to a stop when the vampire was thrown into the bar. Without much care for the neutrality of the place, the Young Vampire Slayer purposely stepped on him on her way out, stuffing her hands in the pockets of her jacket as she went along like nothing happened. The vampire on the other hand wasn't going to take that sitting down. He roared out in anger and then charged outside to confront the woman that had the nerve to step on him.
“How dare you---!”
“Save it. I heard it all before.”
“Do you know who I am?”
“I don't give a damn.”
“You will.”
The vampire went to grab her but she turned around and connected with a series of furious blow with a strength that a girl of her stature shouldn't possess. It was a few moment into the rather one-sided fight that the vampire realized, this girl... she was a slayer! The inhabitants of the bar would see the same vampire flying through the front door a second time only this time, this time he exploded into a cloud of ash.
Tori saw Remus out of the corner of her eye but sensing nothing evil about him she kept on walking without saying a word but well within ear-shot if one was to call out to her.

Wedge popped the clasp on his holdster and almost drew his blaster att he sudden vaporization. He knew the fellow who just burst through the door was definitely not the nicest of people, evidenced by his reaction to the woman's action. But it was still no reason for him to be atomized like that. It seemed heartless, and he did not like when people killed for no reason.
A thought strick Wedge in a heartbeat. I've seen this before. The ashen results are the same as when Galen Marek would use that Force Repulse on the stormies back on Kamino. Is this girl force sensitive? She could help me in my goal to get home, and I could help her get home too. I'd best keep her alive as best as I can. But... she may be a dark Jedi. Luke warned me of this back when we were fighting Iceheart. I won't let her get a good look at my back any time soon.
Wedge followed the girl outside, eager to find answers and possibly familiar ground with her. However, one of the bar patrons said in a rather loud mutter, "He's human too, probably in league with the girl! Lets get 'im." He had no desire to make enemies so fast in his life here, and he decided to leave the establishment at a 45 degree angle from where the girl went. A vampire followed him, eyes alit with hunger. Wedge half-turned, blaster still holstered, but hand resting on its hilt.
"I am not with her, neither do I wish to start any trouble. Leave me be." The vampire grinned and started accelerating at a speed unlike most humans, teeth bared and mouth watering. He swung at Wedge's left, but a sidestep and a fist to the face countered the rather obvious attack. The creature took the hit and rolled his jaw, grin increasing in size. Wedge stiffened and drew his blaster, firing a bolt of superheated gas into the humanoid's side. The bolt impacted and tore right through it's unprotected flesh, leaving a black char mark on his abdomen. The power of the bolt sent the creature sprawling along the ground, the scent of burnt flesh permeating the air.

The smell of burnt flesh didn't escape the nose of the Young Vampire Slayer as it flared up her nostrils and caused her eyes to water.
“What the hell?”
Tori turned around where Willy's Place was now a fair distance away from where she stood currently. That couldn't be the demon, could it? This smell took her mind back to a place it didn't want to go. A place surrounded by the smell of burnt flesh as friends and family burned ablaze in a fire caused by the same monster that she was hunting down to the ends of the earth. Running as fast as she could back to the outside of Willy's Place, Tori made it to the scene eying the man who had just given the vamp a nasty surprise.
“You there! Who are you?”

Wedge paused, blaster still pointed at the vampire, but eyes locked on the redhead. He never got a good look at the way she looked, and gladly took a second to examine who spoke to him. He had a feeling this was going to be a face he would need to remember.
"Nothing more than a man trying to make his way home. And who might you be?"
Wedge glanced down at the vampire, who started to twitch and move. The blaster bolt had definitely done significant damage, but Wedge was shocked when the creature tried to pick itself up. Most unprotected creatures would have died from the blast. Rather than sit and watch, however, he loosed another bolt into the creatures spine. A scream of pain erupted from the creature, and Wedge frowned in disgust. "If you had just died, you wouldn't have had to deal with this pain." muttered he under his breath.

“Annoyed,” came Tori reply.
She had thought an innocent person was being attacked but instead it was just another vampire who no doubt deserved the high amount of physical pain he was experiencing right now at the hands of the Star Wars wannabe over there (oh if only she knew). Not caring much for secretly as the slayers before her did, Tori drew her trusty wooden stake and plunged it into the heart of the vampire finishing him off once and for all as for the second time in the night a man exploded into a cloud of ash. Putting the stake away, the Young Vampire Slayer turned her attention back to Wedge.
“So what are you supposed to be anyway?”
The better question would have been how he fried that vampire but first thing first.

Wedge grimaced momentarily and looked at the door, expecting more company. "Commander Wedge Antilles, New Republic Military. I'm not from around these parts. I suppose you are, judging by the way you handle these guys. Why didn't he die from the blast? Most living things don't last long with damage like that to their organs." Blaster still readied, he dusted off some ash from his hand and sneezed. It smelled a little off from smokiness, but still smelled... crispy. He made a quick mental note to wash his jacket. Ashy corpse was not the scent he wanted to give off.

Commander. New Republic. Yeah he definitely wasn't from around these parts, as he put it. Tori may not have been in California for long but she knew enough about her own country to know no Commanders had weapons like that.
“It didn't kill him because he was already dead.”
Tori looked at her watch. Time was wasting and having to stay here to explain the supernatural to this man would do nothing but harm her search for the demon responsible for her friends and family's death.
“Look I don't have much time to go into all the details. Abridged version: vampires are real, they can only die by a stake to the heart, cutting off their head, setting them on fire, etc. etc. Demons are real too and if you see one eight feet tall and made of stone let me know. Okay? Bye.”
Tori made a dash for the door but before she could___

Wedge listened silently, eyebrow raising as she spoke about these 'vampires'. He had heard stories of very hard to kill creatures, but none in such a manner as these ones. But this one she spoke of, the one she was searching for, seemed a bit more important than these other, lesser 'demons'.
"If you're looking for a way to search the area for something, I'd recommend you follow me. I've got a sensor package on my X-wing, with it I should be able to pinpoint something that's 8 feet tall, made of stone." said he, hand extending forward to try to catch her before she left him to deal with possibly more enemies.

Tori came to a screeching halt by the time she reached the door and did a quick spin to once again face Wedge this time with her own eyebrow raised upon the words he spoke.
“Sensor package on your what now?”
She didn't fully understand what he was talking about. She never watched Star Wars in full. As their conversation went on, Tori would feel something forming outside of the building and the growls would confirm that vampires has gathered here in their effort to avenge their fallen brothers.
“Just great... I don't suppose you have a flamethrower by any chance?”

Wedge frowned. "Sensor package on my X-wing. It's my starfighter. Incom Corporation T-65B X-wi-" He trailed off, realizing he was about to blather on about something that she probably would not understand. Rather than bother her with useless information in their current ordeal, he quickly summarized, "It's my mode of transportation that can fly."
"I don't carry weapons besides this blaster. Doubt that'll change anytime soon." The growls seemed to get louder, moving closer towards the pair's location. "But I suppose in this predicament we're in, I'd need one." He calibrated his blaster to overcharge, and pointed at the wall. "Do we need to get out of here? I'm not sure we can fight our way out. I can't even finish one opponent."

Yeah, Tori had no idea what he was talking about. Fortunately enough he caught onto that and spoke in a language he could understand.
“Like a ship?”
The Young Vampire Slayer looked around when Wedge asked if they had to leave, well yes. They couldn't very well get to the ship or her demon if they didn't get out of here but maybe there was another way out.
“We should find out if there's a backdoor to this place.”
As soon as she said that however her eyes went on the weapon Wedge has just put into overcharge.
“Or make our own.”

Wedge nodded, tipping over the nearest table and ducking behind it. "You'd best take cover. Brick doesn't like being blasted." He waited for his newfound companion to take cover, and fired the high powered bolt. By depleting the powerpack a minor amount of bolts, Wedge blasted a hole through the wall, brick and rubble flying across the room. Holes from shrapnel filled the room, and shredded softer materials, making a rather large noise.
Wedge picked himself up from behind the cover, and walked up to the crawling-sized hole. Dust filled the room just as much as the shrapnel had moments before, and Wedge coughed and repressed a sneeze. "It isn't pretty, but it's a better reception than-" Wedge paused as his blaster pulsed, letting him know that it had only a few shots before it was drained. "-than those guys down there. Lets get the hell out of here."
