Luna continued to explore the studio as she was curious as to what she could see here. So far she had seen movie studios, dancing studios, even a theatre studio; basically there was a studio for anything related to entertainment as Luna sighed, none of them interested her and warranted her to visit it. She wasn't the kind of girl that was interested in fame, she preferred her lifelong goal of finding magical creatures other people didn't believe in, it was something she enjoyed doing.

Other people might say that she was being foolish and wasting her talent, but she ignored such jibes as they weren't really important. The only fame she might be interested in is if she found a very fascinating creature and letting the world now, she could probably get some galleons from that.

Luna was thinking about fame and why girls are so obsessed with it when she saw a building with the words NEWS STUDIO as she stopped and looked at it. She remembered her time as a commentary at one of Hogwart's Quidditch match, although she had missed some of the goals and kept getting off track every few minutes, everyone had said that they enjoyed her commentary, well everyone except Slytherin but when did they enjoy anything about her? She had also enjoyed doing commentary that day and she would like another shot at it, perhaps she would enjoy it even, she smiled to herself as she entered the news studio and had a look around.

[Ayen]

The newsroom was colorful mixing the colors of red, gold and a little bit of skyblue as near the end across from the entrance was a desk where two news anchors usually sat. One woman sitting behind the desk with an empty chair next to her and a large monitor standing behind her. Out in front of her was a camera and in the director's chair next to the camera was of course David Spense, legs crossed and a hand on his chin covering his mouth as he watched the woman's performance. It wasn't that she was bad per se, but she just didn't have a hook. Something that could draw in viewers. Once she was done David clapped and faked excitement.

“Well done! Well done! Don't call us we'll call you.”

The woman smiled and stood up from her seat walking around the desk and out the room through the entrance passing Luna Lovegood while David without looking shouted,

“Next!”

Luna was impressed by the sight of the newsroom, it was colourful and there were a lot of Muggle equipment that was aiming at a table with two chairs as there was a woman there, she wondered what she was doing there, maybe she was auditioning for the news room. Across from the woman was a man who looked like he was in charge of the place as he thanked the woman and said that he would call her back; but Luna can tell he wasn't going to, he didn't seem excited when he clapped his hands. He then called next as Luna looked around to see who would be next, but found no one around her, seeing that fact she decided to give it a shot. She then went up to the table and sat on one of the chairs, "Hello, my name is Luna Lovegood," she said dreamily.

[Ayen]

"Hello, my name is Luna Lovegood."

“Hello, Luna Lovegood. What do you have for us today?”

The director asked while the cameraman set up the shot and waited for the director's signal to start recording.

Luna tilted her head, "Well I would like to try and be part of the news studio, I did some commentary for my school's Quidditch house championship once, and everyone said that they liked my commentary," Luna said truthfully as she wondered what the man wanted her to do, or say.

[Ayen]

“No, I mean what do you have. Give us a news story, something to report. Make up something if you have to.”

“What's Quidditch?” whispered the cameraman to David.

“Buggered if I know,” he whispered back before looking at Luna. “All right, three, two...” He motioned with his hand for Luna to begin as the camera began recording.

So that’s what the man meant, well she didn’t want to make something up, although she might have a flighty information she understood that news was about factual things and she shouldn’t make things up in a news. So she thought back about any events that would be worth mentioning in a news, she then remembered about what happened in Hallowtown, the place where she ended up in the first place, it was quite chaotic at the moment there and she heard that the leader of Hellsing was dead and that a new one had been chosen. She was also observant about things, so she would listen to people gossiping on the street and pick up on that, useful thing to have when you’re a reporter.

All right, three, two...

The camera then began rolling as Luna gave a dreamy smile as she began, ”Hello everyone, I’m Luna Lovegood and today I have a special story for you all. I’m sure all of you heard about what happened in Hallowtown the other day, nasty business if you ask me though I do wonder how exactly did it all start? Oh yes that’s right it started with a rogue demon going out of control that ended up with all sorts of fighting before, tragically, ending with the death of a very prominent member of Hallowtown’s elite circle. The funeral was a couple of days ago, I think, but anyways a new leader of the infamous Hellsing organisation has been announced as they have taken residence in an old cathedral that serves as a fortress,” Luna narrated. She then thought of something as she spoke it out loud, ”If the fortress is a cathedral…does that mean those priests have weapons with them all the time? Wouldn’t that make it hard for them to kneel and all that?” she mused out loud before snapping out of her trance before looking at the man to gague how she was doing.

[Ayen]

”Hello everyone, I’m Luna Lovegood and today I have a special story for you all. David was quiet for a moment, the camera man looking towards him and then back through the camera lens before David suddenly jumped out of his chair.

“Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Loved that line at the end.”

For once David wasn't just being sarcastic.

“When can you start?”

“Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Loved that line at the end.”

Luna can tell that he wasn't being sarcastic on that one, he truly did like it, that made Luna smile. In honesty she wasn't sure if she would be able to do it as a news anchor, her way of talking was different then most people, however as long as she gave it a shot it didn't matter what the outcome would be. However she had high hopes that she would be chosen for the position, but if not then she'll go back to working on the tower.

“When can you start?”

Luna was surprised by this statement, did that meant she was hired? It was quite a surprise that she was accepted, but she managed to curb that surprise, "Right now if you want," she replied as she had nothing to do today, or for the whole week in fact, "does this mean I'm hired?" she asked.

[Ayen]

"Right now if you want, does this mean I'm hired?"

“Yes. Absolutely. Tell me, Luna, what else have you heard in Hallowton? Or here in Kari, in fact. Any interesting stories? Rumors?”

[Mewtwo]

“Yes. Absolutely. Tell me, Luna, what else have you heard in Hallowton? Or here in Kari, in fact. Any interesting stories? Rumors?”

Luna pondered on that for a moment as she tried to think if there had been any stories that she heard that she could tell him, or any other rumours that she could hear floating around, "Well...I did hear a rumour about an underground arena for animals, I'm not sure if that's true or not though," she replied.

[Ayen]

He signaled the number one with his finger again while the camera began rolling.

So she was back on air again, well she didn't mind that since it seemed to please the man, perhaps this is her job in this world. The camera then went live as she smiled and started again, "Hello again, I'm Luna Lovegood and today I'm going to tell you about one of Kari's darkest secret. Rumours around the place tells me of an underground arena where animals, whether magical or not, are sent to fight to the death. There are reports of people going all over the continent searching for magical animals where they are paid by how rare they are, or how powerful they are, it is unknown how many animals are kept in captivity, which I'm sure are under cruel conditions, nor do anyone know who is running the arena itself. Luna said as she glanced at the man to see what his reaction would be.

[Ayen]

"Hello again, I'm Luna Lovegood and today I'm going to tell you about one of Kari's darkest secret. “Cut and print! Beautiful job!”

David stood up from his seat and applauded Luna while walking over to her place behind the table, kicking the empty seat next to her away as he approached.

“Get out of here chair, she's flying solo! C'mere you!”

David lifted Luna up and gave her a hug before letting her go and quickly wiping himself off.

“Take her to hair and makeup. I want the last two recordings playing for the evening news. I can see the vein in Kain's forehead popping already!”

The man seemed pleased with her work, very pleased in fact as he went and hugged her surprising the witch. She had never been hugged by anyone other then her father, so to be hugged by a complete stranger took her by surprise. He also kicked the chair away stating that she would be working alone, which suited her just fine, though she did not expect to be taken for makeup.

She was dragged to a room which smelled of perfume and other things as she was sat on a chair. Her hair was then cut and cleaned while makeup was put on her before her dress changed to a more formal one before she was finished, though the makeup felt foreign to her as she wondered what the man would want her to do next.
