"Yes people will always be bored wouldn't they?"
“That's the beauty of life.”
"What's next on the agenda list?"
“Civil war in the desert. The former Empress of Jherrazad got her head chopped off and now the entire desert region is up in arms as loyalists battle it out against the new world's power over there. It's a great big mess over there. Reminds me a bit of our own desert region back home. What did they call it? Middle something...”

That was a wide range of news, she would have to rely on what the news station had because she didn't know a lot about those topics as Luna looked at him, "You mean Middle East?" Luna asked in response to his words.

"You mean Middle East?"
“Right! The Middle East. That's the one, very good. Just remember if you don't know what to say take a look at the teleprompter, but don't make it too obvious you're looking at it because otherwise viewers will think you're a dumb bimbo.”
David headed back over to his chair.
“One minute!”

Luna couldn't figure out if he was warning her, or insulting her, but either way she let it slide for now. She needed this job if she was to support herself in this world, she could go to the accommodation set up by the people working on the tower but she would much prefer to get a real job. "I understand," she said as she went to her chair and got herself ready.

David sat down in his chair and began to count down to when the show would come back on.
“And five, four, three, two...”
But before he could finish the power in the room would suddenly go off.
“Are you kidding me!?”
“Power seems to be off in the whole building sir,” said one of the crew workers.
“Well get it back to working. We have a show to do!”
“Yes sir!”
The crew workers left the room to find the source of the power outage while David tried his very best to see the magazine in his hand.
“Anyone got a flashlight?”
