David came into the room after Luna was prepared by the hair and make-up crew with digital pads that replaced the need of scripts and handed them over for Luna to review.
“The first one is welcoming everyone to Kari News Channel One, the second and third are a review of what you just discussed and the last one has to do with the grand opening of the Kari Arena. You don't have to read them word for word but that is the general gist of it. Now, are there any questions?” |

Luna saw that the man had entered the room as he gave her a Muggle invention that she had never seen before as the man then detailed to her what she needed to do and say, she took a brief look at it as she nodded as she understood the general concept of what’s to be said. ”For the second and third do I just say what I just said, or do I just summarise what I said?” she asked as the fourth she could knew pretty well and could talk about it in detail and probably make a couple of jokes about it since the man seemed to like her jokes and remarks.

Luna nodded, summarize that was easy enough, she could summarize things she's already said as people began hurrying back and forth as the clocked ticked on.
“Do you have everything you need?”
Luna nodded again, "Yes sir," she replied calming herself down as she was on air once again for the third time today. Working as a news anchor sure was hard work, but it would be well worth it, that she was sure of.

Luna was led back to the news room and behind the desk as the familiar little red light on the cameras in front of her lit up signifying that she was on the air again. The previous two recordings being used as public ads for the official news broadcast that was happening right now. |

Luna sat down on the chair and gulped as this would be her real live recording, something to be nervous about, however she calmed herself down. When the lights went on she then went with it as she smiled, something that comes naturally to her, "Hello everyone and welcome to Kari News Channel One, I'm Luna Lovegood, to recap the events of Hallowtown is still being felt there as people try to recover from the supernatural events that plagued it, and the underground arena is still active leading to speculation to what exactly the Kari police are doing. Luna frowned at her next topic, she couldn't really see how foreigners presented a threat to national security, a city should be a place where everyone is welcomed right? However she had to move on with her job, maybe dropping some hints along the way. "Next is the controversial topic of whether the increase in foreigners in Kari pose a security risk to Kari? Many believe that if the number of foreigners continue to increase then there will be less employment for residents due to foreigners taking on jobs and having lower wages then the average citizen, many also say that potential threats such as terrorism also increases the more foreigners continue to come to Kari. However there are also others that believe that we should welcome foreigners into Kari as they provide a much needed cultural benefit that Kari sorely lacks, whether this is true or not remains to be seen."

David was playing Galaga on his digital advice while the live broadcast was going on. The teleprompter telling Luna to go to Ollie for the weather forecast which would give her a brief break before they move on. |

Luna looked at the agenda and saw that she had a small break while the weather was being forecasted as she looked up at the camera and smiled, "And now I'll hand over to Ollie for the weather," she said.

The camera went over to Ollie for his segment as David took this time to walk up on stage next to Luna with a bottle of water in his hand.
“Thirsty?” he asked handing the water bottle for her to accept or decline. “You're doing smashingly so far but I felt a little bit of hesitation at the last bit. Something the matter?” |

Luna received the water as she thanked him, drinking the water as she wetted her throat and cleared it as she needed the water since she was very thirsty.

"Thank you," Luna said as he brought attention to her slight hesitation on the last part as she looked down, "well I just thought it's not right for foreigners to be denied entry to Kari simply because they 'pose a threat to national security' it's just like saying we should simply isolate ourselves from the outside world. I know that it's probably not right for me to question Kari's motives for isolating people, and I can also see the benefit of it, however I still feel hesitant towards it, please do forgive me if I'm out of line."

David and Carari were foreigners themselves and hell if either one of them were going to be isolationists but that didn't matter when it came to news. The news were there to scare you into watching it lest the million of things that are likely to never happen to you kill you in slow, horrible ways that only the news can save you from.

David took the glass of water back and returned to his place behind the camera as the teleprompter came on to reveal the next news topic: renowned billionaire and bachelor Constantine Harker of Harker Industries to tie the knot. |

Luna nodded, "I understand," she said and she did, sometimes she understood the darker side of news reporting better then anyone else. After all her family were the only newspaper magazine to report the Dark Lord's return even when the Daily Prophet refused to acknowledge it, sometimes personal feelings didn't matter when your job was on the line.
The weather forecast is wrapping up. Look sharp.

Jessica White may have been known by a few people in Hallowton, but to the rest of the world she was an unknown. Unlike Constantine Harker who were well known throughout most of the continent and was already making a name for himself in Elim as well. It led to many people speculating just who this woman was and what she was like in order to get the old ball and chain around a man like Harker. The rumor mill was on fire and Carari Incorporated was sure to help feed the fire. But for now David planned to shift the news on to another well known billionaire in Jherra.
The teleprompter changed again and brought up words that said “Lex Luthor's big secret” then followed up with info about him harboring alien technology inside LexCorp main headquarters in Moon Valley and also made mention of his current candidacy for mayor of Moon Valley for Luna to paraphrase as she would.
