"We search and eliminate all remaining Netherrealm presence but leave the knight and the assassin to our silver haired friends. I believe we still have a Hulk to contend with."
The tanks turned around and began to search for any demons that were still in the area, steering clear of Dante and Daikus' battle with Nightmare and Scorpion as they kept an eye out for the large green enemy still in the area.

Jehanne was knocked back through the tunnel however her lance fell to the sewage by Hulk's feet and ignited it upon the explosion. Sending a large ball of burning sewage gas in the direction of the Incredible Hulk threatening to burn him alive.

It seemed as if the drop of the lance would be Hulk's undoing but ever since the battle for Moon Valley was the Netherrealm immune to fire and that immunity didn't give out as Hulk passed through the fireball that went down the sewer tunnel as he continued his unstoppable charge towards Kyrie.

Scorpion avoided the hybrid's grasp through a teleport punch, vanishing and then reappearing at the side of Daikus' position but instead of following through with the punch his feet touched the ground and he threw the spear like a projectile releasing the rope from his hand so he could stay on the attack while remaining at a distance giving him more reaction time if those hands came for him again.

His targeting gaze didn't falter, a hand shot up, grasping the Kunai and clenching his fist around it. There was an audible crack before it was broken. However as soon as Daikus turned his gaze towards Scorpion he would notice that the entire action was like a lagged blur and that a wave of ghastly demonic familiars all seemingly made of a tar like material were racing towards him like a tidal wave, with Daikus right there leading the charge.

The Pop Idol couldn't believe her ears as she shook her head in disbelief. The man she knew as a popular comic book character from her world was here alive and in the flesh. It didn't come as too great a shock as Utena was also from a manga and a TV series but the Hulk was the last thing she expected to run into around here. Reloading her guns Aminee followed the rest of the Kari soldiers and tanks at her side to track him down. Knowing the Hulk like she did she was sure that wouldn't be too difficult a task.

Kyrie generated another lance and stabbed it into the nearby sewer pipes sending streams of water into the eyes of the Hulk. Allowing her enough time to reach the ladder behind her and climb back up to the surface to rejoin with the rest of Kari's defense. She was going to need a lot more firepower than she had on her own to take this thing down.

The sudden water to the face caused Hulk to stop his charge, holding up his arms to block it as he growled out in anger and irritation as Jehanne returned to the surface. Hulk's growl would only grow higher in frequency as he burst forth out from underneath the ground, shaking the surface the moment his feet connected with the streets. Water pouring out of the hole behind him as he let out another mighty roar towards Jehanne and the rest of Kari.

The specter's took a deep breath and then released a massive wave of hellfire from his own mouth, the same exact flames that was so intense they sent Sub-Zero to an early grave while creating what was today known as the Jherrazad desert as he aimed towards the source of the familiars, Daikus himself. Meanwhile burning straight through the distance that now stood between them.

A huge glacial wall met the raging fires. This as well was enriched with demonic energies so though it melted into water which contained the fire, the heinous hell-fire would do little to evaporate the liquid which now flooded the area around the Sector and Daikus himself. If Maricul was around, she would remember this technique used on her in her very first encounter with her son in his universe. He never thought he'd be using the same technique twice.
Instantaneously the area around them dropped in temperature. Moisture in the air solidified and fell to the ground as snow. Daikus let out a bellowing, cruel laughter. "What happens when water is instantly dropped below zero temperatures?"
Scorpion would find his legs locked and numb as they were trapped in a thick layer of ice that coated the area where the previous glacier wall had melted "It flash freezes." Daikus was now away from his target by only a few feet, his sword in mid-swing towards his opponent's legs.
Dante's ducked under((Or around)) his opponent's attack, maintaining a low stance as he spun his body and unleashed a vicious slash towards the back of his target's right knee.

Stated the sick voice of the demonic skeleton as the blade that broke the ice that covered his legs did little to damage his body as the specter's simply turned around. Watching as via Netherrealm manipulation tanks, soldiers and even the auto-turrets all became trapped in ice as the water pouring out from the hole created by Hulk also froze over threatening Kyrie's life as well. And with the simple snap of a finger it all shattered. The soldiers, the tanks and the auto-turrets. It was Sub-Zero who had done this before and thanks to his affiliation with the Netherrealm...
"We have adapted."
And the demon army punched through. Now making their way for the second barricade in the city.

Music!He cracked his neck back as well as cracked his knuckles. " You're really starting to piss me the fuck off." His words came out in a growling hiss. Steam rolled over the entire area, steam that shifted into a thick fog solely under his control. " ADAPT TO THIS!" The black blazer ripped to shreds as Daikus marched onward. Every single familiar, demonic, supernatural or vampiric from his world, both variations, even those he had killed from the Bellum Abyss, Agrus. The best part... Was while reliving his entire life because of being erased from existence... He learned how to truly harness his demonic and Vampiric abilities and breed them together to point that... Abyss Soldier foot grunts stormed the field in countless, endless numbers as they attacked from the fog on any enemies. The High Knights and cursed ones, even the generals charged full on through the thick fog. The more his familiars killed the more powerful Daikus grew as he slowly paced towards the Specter. " I've taken quite the time to relish and hone my skills." During his time training his new feats as a paradox he looked into his own future and saw all of the possibilities, selecting the ones that would well prepare him for anything and everything he would encounter and training himself up to it. A month and a half in that world his mother created for him. Six Weeks... in a world where one week passed like one thousand years. He had spent six thousand years honing himself. " I've seen myself as a god of vampires, donning endless swarms of familiars at my command." He disappeared suddenly as the fog completely rolled over him. " I've envisioned myself with the near endless might of an Ajerian." He was everywhere, surrounding Scorpion. " You're out of your league banana-boy. Go ahead and adapt, You still won't have enough power to stop me or my familiars." His voice roared in a hideous chorus of malice and excitement. " I'll rip you to pieces and devour you. Give in already, it's useless to fight. You already threw your life away when you stood in my way."

As the ice shattered and water began to burst out threatening to flood the area, the Life Force within the water began to drain away, the water itself dissolved and Kari returned to dry land but the damage has been done and the Kari defense in this sector has suffered a large blow in huge thanks to Daikus own flash freeze technique unaware of the Netherrealm's ability to warp the very reality around them. Unfortunately for the Nethereralm this had prompt Daikus into releasing the Legion of Abyss in the form of familiars to combat the infinite army. Luca appeared on the field and made a slow walk to where her son had Scorpion surrounded. Each demon and abyss familiar that ran pass her was obliterated by her mere presence. An ironic fact considering their former leader Amon's own barrier. Daikus would feel the lost of a few of his familiars but really it was a trivial matter in the end.
“Really now...”
Luca's words reached the young Paradox's ear as she stood only a couple of feet away from his conflict.
“All this time spent training and you've still no idea what it means to be a true Paradox. Open your eyes and look upon your enemy. Really look at him. See the Life Force inside. Know every possible way you can kill him in this encounter in a single instance. Now bend it to your will and remind our dear Specter what death feels like.” |

As she expected. The Hulk easily made himself known as he burst forth from out of the ground and roared at his enemies. However the Pop Idol's eyes would notice something else that was happening all around them. Everything was suddenly starting to freeze over and she was in danger of being among the frozen tanks and auto-turrets. Oh, the irony... Kari was once again being frozen right before their very eyes. The Pop Idol and some of the soldiers by her side was able to jump up into the air right before the ice came but then it shattered. Washing them away as they struggle against the currents but that soon evaporated as they were on solid ground again. But their tanks and turrets had been destroyed and the army was starting to make it past them. That was until a second force appeared out of nowhere and started slaughtering the demons. Aminee wasn't sure whether or not to be thankful or terrified...

White Queen observed as the area froze over, shattered, flooded and dried all in the time frame of a couple of seconds. Though she lost her armored ground vehicles the Firehawks remained in the air and enough of the Kari and Utopia infantries survived to be used against the Hulk. It changed nothing.
"To all remaining infantry, your orders remain the same. Eliminate the Hulk. I will provide air support."
And as soon as she finished her sentence, hellcat bombs and air to ground missiles were launched from above towards the green behemoth.
