Hell's March pt.2 [Chapter XIX]

[Kyrie]

Kyrie slipped straight through the ground into Kari's underbelly as the Hulk came crashing down only for his arms to hit air. While underground Kyrie generated another lance of light and hurled it upward, causing the ground underneath the Hulk's feet to explode sending him into the sewers where he'd have little room to maneuver. Holding a second lance of light just in case the shokan up above decided to join them.

[Marvel Universe]

Hulk heard the voices speaking to his head but this only served as a distraction, allowing Kyrie to further catch him off guard as the ground beneath his feet gave away and he fell to the sewers below. This backfired on Kyrie a somehwhat, due to his size his arms broke nearby pipes spewing sewer water into her eyes to blind her temporarily as she lowered the protective wing in order to wield the lance. The voices in his head telling him exactly what to hit as the Hulk aimed one well placed right hand straight for the exposed abdomen.

[Kyrie]

Kyrie threw the lance into the path of the water, separating it and causing the water to miss her eyes altogether as the Hulk ran head long into the lance that'd explode on impact.

[Marvel Universe]

The Incredible Hulk ran head on into the pillar of light not being slowed down one bit by the explosion to follow as he closed the distance between them and used his own head as a battering ram with enough power to break through her wings if she used them as a shield again. It was true it was hard for Hulk to maneuver in the tight space but with his size he also left Kyrie with little room to go but backwards and it was only a matter of time before she found her back literally up against a wall.

Daikus followed Scorpion back as he flicked his other wrist and second, larger hidden blade of the same time came sliding out. Daikus went into full assault mode with punches towards the creature's skull and chest area. His hands protected by the flames as they were coated in a thick layer of ice that would take a while to melt.

[Kragen]

Hellfire arose from underneath Daikus' feet as he closed in on the wounded Scorpion. Scorpion disappearing down underneath the flames before the first punch could lay as the flames of hell began the difficult task of melting through the ice before he reappeared behind Daikus with a shot to the groin before following up with a literal skull-shattering punch to the left hand side of Daikus' face.

In an ironic twist of fate the Netherrealm's attempt to overwhelm the Kari's defenses saw them being overwhelmed as the tanks, Kari soldiers and Aminee charged right on through thanks to the firing support of the turrets that they could not escape.

One had to love the perks of being a paradox. the capability to see various possibilities in a fight, it certainly gave one an edge in combat. The punch connected but the body would shatter like glass as it blew away into an icy dust. What scorpion had attacked was a well timed ice clone. But this ice clone, once destroyed would unleash a devastating high voltage blast of electricity to whatever destroyed it. "Nice try." His taunting voice was behind Scorpion. "But back attacks are over rated and predictable. Try harder, make this fun for me."

[Aminee Starlight]

Aminee jumped on the back of the Goliath and hanged on tightly as she came up to it side and continued to fire with the right-hand pistol. Seeing one of the many portals to the Netherrealm up ahead as more of the demons came out to confront them.

"There's one of the portals. What do we do?"

[Sincara]

"We close it of course."

Said White Queen through Aminee's radio. The tanks came to a stop once they were within range of the portals in the sector and released an energy wave that served to collapse the portals that led to the demon realm. Closing them right on the demons as they were in the middle of passing through their bodies being crushed in the process, heads rolling across the ground after the portals closed.

[Kyrie]

Kyrie allowed her wings to be destroyed only so she was able to slide right on through between the legs of the Hulk and rise up behind him thrusting the pillar of light into his lower spine.

[Marvel Universe]

Hulk turned around and swung his arms against Kyrie with enough force to send her hurling down the sewers tunnel before she could connect with the pillar.

[Kragen]

Due to the earlier display of electromancy by Daikus the Netherrealm had already adapted and Scorpion stood immune to the high voltage blast. Spinning around and launching the spear from his palm into the chest of the hybrid pulling him right into a quick five hit combo leading with two high punches, a high kick and ending a with a vicious roundhouse kick to the chest.

He got pulled in, only laughing through the entire ordeal as the final hit struck. Though Scorpion would noticed something extremely wrong. The black blazer that was over Daikus' torso. It held Scorpions leg. Daikus' eyes and entire face would become twisted into a terrifying feature. His normal teeth now replaced with a maw full of sharp visors of blades. His eyes, usually a calm ice blue now a beating blood red with veins all in them.

A cruel rolling cackle emitting from his throat as the blazer seemed to bend and shift like an inky tar substance before one would see different shapes come fourth from it. Ghouls and Ghosts, faces of etched pain and horror before hands ripped from the Blazer grasping to Scorpion. "You're mine!"

[Aminee Starlight]

Aminee felt a certain satisfaction seeing the demons be destroy and crushed by their own portals. These were the monsters who marched on the place she was able to call home since coming to this world, the trauma that came with losing it so suddenly and overwhelmingly may never truly go away even if they survive this. But seeing them pay, even if it were just a couple of them, that was enough for the Pop Idol. It also gave her hope. Hope that this would all be over soon.

"Now what?"

[Mewtwo]

Despite the attack Nightmare was able to withstand it thanks to his tough armor, however he did groan in pain and annoyance, he did not have time to deal with this person. He would need to get rid of him as fast as possible, he swung his sword towards Dante's head intending to decapitate him.
