Sincara looked towards the demon, seeing that her attack had no effect to speak of on the devil's body. Not even any massive size holes which bullets that size would leave behind when making contact. Tajna would make no further advancement on her and instead vanish, turning all of his attention to Chloe and all Sincara could do was merely watch the scene unfold as Chloe was threatened to be consume by the power. Until she abandoned Kasul and made her message clear to the demon.
"She must win..."
Sincara repeated the statement, watching Tajna spare Chloe as he did her, only her survival consisting of a far greater weight than her own. With Tajna gone, Sincara walked over to the fallen Chloe. Once again managing the impossible as her goal of keeping Chloe came to past, no thanks to Tajna Rasha.
"Are you all right? We haven't much time. The tower, can you shut it down?"

Chloe could not believe it. He knew this all along and yet, yet he continued on his worthless crusade unmoved by the truth. Why? How could he be so foolish? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results... Chloe could see now that the wraith spoke from personal experience. The vampiress fell to her knees, both crushed by the hopelessness of her situation and the curse to live life forever omniscient. And it was all because of her!
The Empress' eyes looked up to Sincara's in a fit of rage, the vampiress rising to her feet and grabbing Sincara by the throat. A nasty growl leaving her lips as she lifted the child off of her feet and held her in the air with a single arm. "You should have let me die!" Chloe threw her across the room. She had no intent to kill the child but the vampiress would allow this to go unpunished. "Now I am cursed to walk this life omniscient until I am graced by the End."

Sincara began to choke when Chloe grabbed her throat and then she felt herself fly through the air before slamming into the floor by force of gravity. The child slowly got up to a knee, grabbing the fallen Six Shooter while rubbing her throat with her spare hand, aiming it at the vampire in case she tried anything else. Why she would make sure not to kill her that didn't mean Sincara wouldn't do some damage where it counted if the Empress forced her hand. As for her sob story...
"Spare me, vampire. You knew full well the risks when you picked up that accursed blade! If you've any redeeming qualities left in you then you will put that new-found omniscience to good use and help shut this tower down before both our worlds are lost!"

Chloe growled at the human, a warning to let her know to bite her tongue before she responded to her statement. "Even if I wanted to help you Tajna Rasha controls the Downward Spiral. He will never allow us to shut it down!"

Seeing that Chloe didn't attempt to attack her again, Sincara rose up to her feet but refused to lower the Six Shooter in the presence of the omnipotent vampire though despite that omnipotence Chloe seemed to be oblivious to what her actual plan was.
"I've no intention on shutting down the tower entirely. My only goal is to remove a function of the tower that is irrelevant to the Ghost."
Even the End would have no use of this function given her known goal.
"I wish to remove the tower's ability to merge realms."

Garrus Vakarian Then it looks like we have the same objective. Interjected the rebel turian, Garrus, as he, with his comrade and friend, walked up to Chloe and Sincara and made a point to show that they meant the two no harm. Garrus Vakarian Garrus Vakarian, and this is Commander Shepard. We've come from Isafaro to investigate the tower and will help you in any way we can.

"What?" Chloe looked over to Sincara in shock, how was she not able to see that already in advanced? Was it a result of being separated by Kasul and Tajna's power or was there other forces at work actually blocking her omnipotence? Chloe shook her head. That was unimportant right now as assuring Maricul or anyone else can't attempt to merge the realms were the most important thing right now. Her eyes soon wandered over to Garrus and Shepard, something she did see coming. "The Isafaro rebel member. I see." Chloe turned back to Sincara. "I can access the tower two floors up." She pointed to her right. "That way."

Sincara eyes rested on Garrus who were alien in every way possible. And chances were his partner in similar armor was no more belonging to this world than he and Chloe was, but none of it would matter if they didn't make sure Maricul's plans could never be realized either now or later in the future. Hearing Chloe's directions, Sincara began to slowly and cautiously approach the wielder of Kasul.
"What are we waiting for then?"
To show she meant business, Sincara aimed the Six Shooter at Chloe, finger at the read in case she tried anything.
"Lead."

His weapons all holstered, numerous though they were, Shepard flanked his comrade closely as they approached the two young women before them after finding a route up the first few floors of this vast tower. Whatever had created it, it was a true marvel of architecture, miraculously staying upright despite its colossal height.
"Don't suppose we might come across some kind of elevator, do you?" he asked the girls, glancing from them to Garrus and then upwards at the ceiling, as if gazing through it to regard the immense height of the structure. "It'll take us hours to climb this thing on foot."

"Kasul." Chloe extended a hand to her side and caught the demon blade that was left on the tower's floor when the Ghost returned to the roof of the tower where Maricul and another copy of herself was. Pushing the side of the blade against the Six Shooter and moving it aside as she looked the child in the eye. "I will help you but I will not be treated like a prisoner. I am Empress Chloe of the Jherrazad Empire and wielder of Kasul. You will give me the respect I deserve! Understood?"
After addressing Sincara, Chloe turned back to Garrus and Commander Shepard. "I'm afraid not." They would have to walk it. Chloe returned Kasul to its sheath and returned the sheath to her waist as she turned around and got out in front of the group. "Follow me," she said as she led them to the fourth floor of the tower.

Sincara went on the alert when she called upon the Kasul, having thought the Ghost of Legion took it away before departing for the roof but instead it was in her hands once again and being used to put her weapon to the side. Sincara eyes narrowed over the Empress as she boasted and a look of disgust took the child's features as she stepped back and holstered her weapon as to not give Chloe any reason to attack with the Kasul. But she did have something to say in response to her demand for respect.
"Respect is earned, not given."
And as far as she was concerned Chloe did not earn it. Sincara's eyes turned to Shepard when he asked about an elevator.
"We only need to climb two floors."
Before following the Empress up to the fourth floor, ready to draw her weapon a second time in case this tower had any more surprises in stored for them.

"S-she's dead... Maricul is dead..."
When they arrived on the fourth floor they would hear the mumblings of a female in the distance, the source of which came from a blinding light. Flames were the only thing that clothed and gave hair to the otherwise bald naked woman that approached them, her eyes looking out in space as her face appeared to be in shock. Catching fire to everything she touched as sweat poured down their faces the closer she get, the temperatures shooting up into the hundreds and starting to overheat their weapons. Zira Firestone was now a danger to everything and anything around her.
"Maricul is dead. No... Not possible. I-I can't--! I won't accept it. Utopia. Got to find Utopia!"
The flames began to surround the group.
"Utopa!"

"Zira..." Chloe moved on ahead, her hand upon the hilt of Kasul as she walked to intercept the demon but careful not to get too close lest the flames consumed her. Sweat pouring down her face and neck as she forced herself to look into the burning eyes of her friend, a look of woe on her face as she could see the pain in Zira's eyes. "Control yourself, Zira. Before you lose everything."

Sincara kept her distance from the new arrival, the Six Shooter aimed forward and ready to fire if the demon tried anything against them. Maricul was dead? So the Seductress has been foiled up above before her plans could come full circle? Then making sure no one else can ever do what she tried to do today with this tower should go uncontested, assuming the flaming devil doesn't try anything against them first. The child didn't take any steps forward, she merely waited and watched.

Garrus could feel his equipment begin to overheat and when looking around for the source he saw it up ahead in the form of a human on fire but she did not burn. Pulling up the M-29 Incisor he got a closer look at her through his scope and recognized her from Isafaro. Garrus Vakarian Zira? He lowered his rifle and then watch Chloe go over to the woman to try to talk with her. While Chloe did that, Garrus moved over to Sincara's side and guided his hand to her to lower her Six Shooter. Garrus Vakarian I'd advise against shooting her... People who did had a tendency of dying.
