"Control yourself, Zira. Before you lose everything."
"I already have lost everything!"
Zira screamed in reply, her flames growing in intensity as her anger rise.
"Amoura's missing, Maricul's dead and the worlds continue to fall apart no matter what we do. I am sick and tired of everything around me being destroyed!"
Zira's body would glow bright and the next thing Chloe and the others would realized was that a giant burning ball of fire engulfed the room and heading to destroy them all.

"Shit." There was too much power for Kasul to absorb and the fire filled up the hall completely blocking any advancement forward the group could have made previously. With no other option available Chloe turned around and ran back to the others. "Run!" The urgency in her eyes, in her face, this was an event not foreseen by the vampiress' omniscience.
Something was wrong.

"I'll manage."
Sincara said to Garrus and raised her weapon after the alien had lower it. She should have heed the warning because as soon as her weapon was raised against her again the woman exploded and even the great Empress of Jherrazad was forced to flee in terror at the burning ball of fire that now headed towards them.
"Shit."
Flash backs to the Crystal Expanse came, the supernova drawing near and threatening to consume her, taking her parents as she cried out her sorrow and continued to run not wanting to die.
The Empress wouldn't have to ask twice. Sincara was already turned around and running by the time the fireball started to move.

It looked like negotiations didn't go over so well. As if it wasn't already hot enough in the tower the woman Chloe was trying to calm down literally exploded into a ball of burning fire and was now heading to incinerate them all. Putting his weapons away, the rebel turian joined the others in fleeing from the ball of fire. It looked like they were going to have to find another way up to their designation.

So. They were following two girls up the tower, one who looked like she'd been pulled from the set of an old spaghetti western and another who clad herself in royal-looking vestments and an unhealthily apathetic expression.
In front of them was a woman on fire, rambling about Maricul amongst other things while the fire that engulfed her body roared further out of control until she devolved into a rampaging ball of flame that came down the hallway at them.
And Garrus seemed to know this girl. This was weird on a whole new level.
Shepard didn't need to be told twice to haul ass. Turning without another thought, he followed Garrus and the others in running the hell away from the fireball that now pursued them.

The fire burned the walls, the ball rushing down the corridor after them forcing them back to the third floor of the tower. Zira was aware of everything during it all and to her it was as easy as breathing. Without even trying she grew bigger, adapting to the layout of the rooms in the third floor like water while continuing to chase them down like animals and destroy them.

It was no good, at the rate they were going they would end up being chased out of the Downward Spiral, away from the Crystal Expanse, through the Jherrazad Desert, Moon Valley and finally to the ocean. They'd run out of energy before the hellspawn of Mundus did. Looking towards Kasul the vampiress knew what she had to do. Tapping into the abilities of Tajna Rasha once again she turned around, an eery green glow coming from around her blue eyes as the fireball would vanish from their sights and Zira herself would awakened in Utopia where she could unleash her rage as much as she desired to.
Meanwhile, Chloe would collapse to the floor still weak from the previous battle with the Ghost of Legion. The latest display of the wraith's power taking even more out of her as it was a challenge just to breathe. It was a good thing vampires didn't require breath.

Sincara ran as fast as her legs were willing to carry her, which was pretty damn fast all things considered, while she tried to push memories of her parents death away from her mind but to no prevail. They haunted her more than the eyes of the Ghost's did when she looked into them for the first time. It just goes to show that nothing could beat one's own personal fear. Not even the faces of devils. The unbearable heat would soon disappear and Sincara would come to a stop to catch her breath. Before she could wonder what became of the 'woman turned fireball' she would spot Chloe falling to the ground severely weakened and the rest just came to her.
"No you don't."
Sincara ran over to the Empress' side to help her up to her feet, force her up if she were uncooperative.
"We still have a job to finish."

It was over as quickly as it began. His weapons and armor began to cool down after the sudden rise in temperature went back down. Turning around to where Chloe and Sincara were, needless to say he was confused as all hell as he looked over to his former Commander and teammate. Garrus Vakarian You all right? Is everyone all right? He walked over to the girls. Garrus Vakarian What happened?

Everything around the Firebird was starting to fade out, she thought that was natural. A sign that she was becoming one with what she was now. An unstoppable fireball of destruction that would burn all in its path without distinction but nay. It was the intervention of those who had control over time itself. A funny feeling for the few creatures in existence able to realize it was happening to them. In the next couple of seconds to pass everything around her would fade back in and the Firebird would find herself in Utopia. She couldn't complain about what Chloe did to bring her here as she stepped forward with the intent on burning down everything and everyone that stood in her way to finding Maricul.

Chloe growled at Sincara as fair warning not to touch her while remaining on the ground to gather up what little strength she could to carry on but it appeared she had tapped out her remaining resources saving Zira and themselves from the fireball of destruction. "I cannot carry on." Stabbing Kasul into the ground, the vampiress used it to pull herself up to her feet and lean on it like a crutch as her eyes went over to Garrus at his question. "It's complicated. All you need to know is I made the fireball disappear. But I need to return to my Empire to recuperate. I cannot continue like this."

"Liar!"
Sincara raised the Six Shooter once more and aimed it at Chloe's head, if she was going to cheat her out of her plans then the child would see to it she didn't leave this tower, period.
"Over seven centuries worth of souls and you're telling me you can't recuperate on your own? Revitalize yourself and start walking!"

For the second time in the day Garrus would come up to the child's side and lower her weapon for her. Garrus Vakarian Calm down! It doesn't do us any good to turn on each other now. Garrus walked over by Chloe's side meanwhile keeping an eye on Sincara for any sudden moves. He wasn't like Kragen, it wasn't as easy for him to hold a child at gunpoint but that didn't mean he wouldn't if she forced his hand. Chloe was important to the resistance efforts against the Crimson Vulture and they couldn't afford to lose her now. Garrus Vakarian We should split up. One of us can escort Chloe back to Jherrazad while the rest continue up to the control room. Any objections?

Chloe narrowed her eyes over Sincara, frustrated that she didn't have the strength to put this child in her place she replied, "You have no idea the power of Tajna Rasha! No idea what it does! Bite your tongue before I rip it out of your throat!" Of course that wouldn't stop the threats. Her attention would move to Garrus as he proposed splitting up and continuing on with the plans for the tower. As for objections, "Only about a hundred. Neither of you can use the tower without me, it'd take a lifetime to learn how to use it and I only had that lifetime to learn because of the power I took from the wraith Tajna Rasha. Without me there is nothing you can do."

"You're welcomed to try!"
Replied Sincara to Chloe's threat wanting to expose the Empress for the fraud she was before Garrus walked up to lower her weapon but this time the child would back away, keeping her weapon raised as she didn't trust Chloe as far as she could throw her. If the others couldn't see through her lies then that was their problem. Sincara wouldn't allow this injustice to pass.
"If you're strong enough to walk all the way back to Jherrazad then you're strong enough to walk up two floors to the tower's controls."
Sincara looked back to the others to try to get them to see reason.
"Chloe is a vampiress who tortures and feeds off her own people and Kasul devours their souls. You can't trust her."
