Utena smiled, going back to her ice cream and taking more bites before looking over to the pouting mom. Giggling some more. But then began to think about her own world when the Pop Idol commented about missing hers.
"I know what you mean. Mine was far from perfect but I met a lot of good people there."

Aminee eyed Cirno and gave her a 'watch it, you' look that was customary on moms. Not really doing herself any favors in that department before reminiscing about her world and all the wonderful things she received since becoming a successful Pop Singer. "My world can go from wonderful to terrible depending who you are. If you're interested it's karaoke night at the Razor's Edge. I was planning on singing..."

Cirno was completely unphased by Aminee's stare at her. She was more into the idea of looking around town.
"Yaaay!" she cheered "And I also like the idea of Karaoke... whatever that is!"

Utena looked up from her ice cream and smiled at her brightly when she heard the news. Excited that Aminee was finally feeling well enough to go back to doing what she loved.
"That's great news!"
Cirno liked it too it seemed, even though she didn't know what karaoke was. Until now Utena didn't even know they had it here.
"Karaoke is where amateur singers sing along to a song next to a box that displays the lyrics while the music is running. But Aminee is far away from being an amateur singer."

"Now that I think about it I'm not even sure what kind of music they have here." And by here she meant the world in general, not just this part of it. "But they obviously must have some form of music if they have karaoke." The Pop Idol finished her ice cream and put it back on the tray before sitting up. "I'm going to take a quick shower. Be sure to call up room service when you're done so they can wash the dishes," she told Utena before heading into the bathroom where the shower was.

Cirno heard her say that Aminee was pretty good at singing. Maybe she was related to the Prismriver sisters... then again, Aminee wasn't from Gensokyo... and she probably wasn't a poltergeist either.
"Well, I'm not too sure that I know too much about what Gensokyo's music is. I never know for sure when the Prismriver Sisters are holding a concert. So I bet it'll be neat." she explained.

Considering she was a popular animated TV show but we didn't need to get into that right now.
"All right, enjoy your shower."
Utena finished up her ice cream and then put the bowl on the tray before standing up and looking down to Cirno.
"You ready?"

Aminee would let out a soft moan as the hot water poured down upon her skin and the steam fogged up the glass doors before proceeding to wash out her hair. Scrubbing her scalp hard with the tips of her fingers as she hummed lightly to herself. Forgetting her troubles and relaxing underneath the pressure of the water from the above shower head, the only noise coming both from Aminee and the shower itself as she moved down to wash her arms.

"Yep! I'm ready!" Cirno cheered. She'd be ready as soon as Aminee was out of the shower, though she herself would probably like to avoid a hot shower in the future... specifically the hot part. Ice fairies aren't particularly partial to heat, you know.

Utena led Cirno out of the hotel to begin exploring the business section of the city, they would meet up with Aminee at the club after the suns set. The business made up a long dirt road with shops to the left and right of it that Utena was pointing out one by one as they strolled along.
"That's the laundry shop, the thrift store, hunting and camping equipment, gun shop..."
Utena realized that she really hasn't spent much time in the city itself even after joining Aminee in the hotel and enrolling in the local Junior High school where June attended.
"Movie theater, ice cream parlor, Burger King-"
Wait a minute...
"Burger King!?"

After Cirno was lead around town, she would have a few questions, specifically what a thrift store, camping, and a movie were. Well... even she would have known what hunting, laundry, and now, Ice Cream were.
Of course, when she reacted to the presence of a Burger King oddly, she got rather curious.
"Huh? I figured royalty would live in a bigger castle than that. So is Moon Valley part of the Kingdom of Burger?" Cirno asked.

"What? No. Burger King is a fast-food restaurant that sells burgers."
Utena just wouldn't have ever thought that she'd see it here. Just how many things did this world have in common with her own? Besides the crazy hair styles.
"So no, Moon Valley isn't part of any kingdoms. It's a Democracy; Moon Valley hold special elections to select officials that help govern them and whoever receives the most votes win."

Cirno seemed to be thinking for a moment, before launching into a series of questions on extremely basic topics "What's an election? What's an official? What's a vote? What is a 'Burger'. And how can food be fast? Does that mean you hunt for it yourself?"
Well, some of those questions might have been familiar to people like Reimu or Keine, who lived in the Human Village. Mostly on the questions dealing with government. In fact, most of the of the outsiders in the human village might know about burgers. Cirno, however, was at a loss at these things.

Utena was unprepared for those questions and it showed all over the former Champion of Ohtori's face. What ever world Cirno came from was obviously very different but no matter, Utena would attempt to explain everything as easily as she could for the child.
"An election is a decision-making process that people attend to choose a public-servant to manage their city for them."
One down three to go.
"Office is a room people use to work in and can represent a special position with specific duties attached to it."
Utena was trying hard to answer more questions than she created with her own answers.
"Vote is a term used for a method for a group to make a decision or express an opinion."
Almost home free.
"And a burger is a sandwich with meat in-between the sliced bread roll."
Utena let out a sigh of relief, happy that she was able to answer all of those questions no problem.
Or did she?

Cirno... actually didn't even get the point of a government. Then again, fairy society was fairly simplistic. They lived in the wild, not doing much of anything... except pranking humans of course, when they got bored. Technically, Cirno herself, being respected as 'the strongest fairy' was probably the closest thing the fairies had for a leader.
"Yeah, that's it." she told her.
