The Confused Fairy (Open)

[Cirno]

Cirno didn't know how it happened. But then again, like most fairies from Gensokyo, she was rather absent minded. But something like this... a genius like Eirin would likely find herself completely baffled. A smarter person Gensokyo would probably surmise that Yukari Yakumo had been involved in her spiriting away to where she was. But then again, Cirno wasn't smart or knowledgeable to figure out such things. And ironically, such an assumption would turn out false, as the Yokai of Boundaries had absolutely nothing to do with Cirno's sudden change of location.

As the initial daze of the flash of light that moved her wore off, she came to a conclusion.

"Wait... Huh, this doesn't look anything like the Misty Lake." she thought for a moment, trying to rack her feeble mind for an explanation to what just happened.

"Aha! Of course! Clearly, I'm obviously so strong in ice power that my power is getting crowded and needs time to adjust to how fast I'm getting even stronger! So it's moving into my speed as well." she thinks. She shrugs, and figures she'll move back with her newfound super speed (that she doesn't have). She flies forward for like four minutes before realizing she wasn't traveling super fast... and that she had no idea where she was.

"Wait, um. Maybe I don't have super speed. But then how did I get here." she thought. There was some strange black path way with yellow lines. She rather than walk, she flew overhead, looking for someone to explain to her what the heck was going on. The general direction she was headed towards was towards Moon Valley.

[Aminee Starlight]

For the first time since the incident Aminee was wearing something else rather than the baggy all black attire she became known for in this world. Instead the Pop Idol had on a violet tank top with a pair of black jeans with matching shoes and a black purse over her shoulder big enough to conceal the Glock given to her by Kragen back in Isafaro. Normally she wore mini skirts with tops such as these but while she was making progress she wasn't quite there yet.

The Pop Idol was on her way back to the Luna Hotel where Utena was waiting for her, she needed an adult to accompany her to the school to get enrolled after all. Aminee would make sure Utena would change her mind and back out at the last minute now that she finally managed to talk her into checking the place out. Her eyes would be attracted up to the air where she saw a figure flying in originally thinking it to be Superwoman but as it got closer....

[Cirno]

Cirno finally saw someone, and the child-sized fairy rapidly descended towards the ground. The closer the fairy got to the ground, the chillier the air around Aminee would would get. It wasn't a sinister cold, so much as just cold. However, it probably would not be so cold to Aminee that it would be too cold to be around Cirno without a jacket.

"Uhh human, I have a few question... How did I get here? I was just at the Misty Lake and then I appeared here for no reason... and where in Gensokyo am I and how do I get back home?" she asked. The fairy seemed brash, but not too hostile to the girl.

[Aminee Starlight]

Aminee felt a chill, wishing she had a jacket or a scarf but it was the middle of Spring and the weather has been warm for the most part so it didn't even occur to her to bring one. If she started expecting the unexpected all the time she might as well drive a van everywhere. The fairy didn't attempt to hide the fact she was different and even addressed Aminee as human. But above all else the confusion stuck out the most. It was the same confusion that plagued everybody regardless of race, gender or species.

"This isn't Gensokyo. It's Genesis, more specifically Moon Valley. You were brought here either by a means of transportation or your reality merging with this one." Aminee offered a sympathetic look to the fairy as she knew all too well how hard this would be to hear. "It's a long story."

[Cirno]

Well... she could tell the human was trying to help. But the explanation Cirno was given was rather confusing to her. After racking her tiny brains for a moment, she mentioned the words. If she was intelligent, she'd probably assume it was all the fault of Yukari Yakumo, the boundary manipulating yokai. However, once again, Cirno's stupidity actually kept her from coming to a false conclusion.

"So you're saying that my home and this Genesis place just stuck together like ice does to frogs? Uuuh... so what do I do now? Oh, and I'm Cirno." she mentioned.

'Ice does to frogs' might sound weird to Aminee, but she had a hobby of freezing frogs. If for some reason, there were to be a place on Genesis that was suffering from a plague of frogs, she'd solve their problem by freezing them all.

[Aminee Starlight]

'Stuck together like ice does to frogs' that was new. At least she understood the gist of it though there was no telling if that was true or not. As for what she did from here the Pop Idol had no idea how to respond to that. Aminee herself had taken up camp in Moon Valley while moving from here, to Jherrazad and to Isafaro during and it took months just for Aminee to get that organized. "I'm Aminee and as for what to do now, I wouldn't know what to tell you. I have a hotel room you could crash at for a while but you may want to do something about the wings," she said pointing to them. "The townspeople are weary of anything abnormal that they see. They've had a rough couple of months."

[Cirno]

Cirno had the vague idea what a hotel was. She'd heard humans mention the word before, and it somehow stuck in her memory. However what Aminee said was 'abnormal' didn't make sense to her.

"Huh? How are my wings so wierd? I mean, there are a lotta fairies in Gensokyo. I mean, obviously, I'm the strongest fairy, but we're kinda easy to find." she mentioned "And I don't think I can hide them. Or at least I don't think I can. I don't remember anyone ever doing that back home."

[Aminee Starlight]

"There aren't any fairies in Genesis." Remembering all of the things that attacked Moon Valley in the past several months you'd think a blue headed fairy would be the least of the townspeople's worries but they weren't built that way. If hiding them was out of the question then there was something else they could do. "Can you walk like I'm doing right now? If anyone asks you can just say that's an outfit. Trust me on this one it will save you a lot of trouble."

[Cirno]

"Then what are there." Cirno mentioned. She quickly descended to her feet. Cirno was more than capable of walking, she just preferred flight because she was faster in the air, and she was only the height of a small child.

"Of course, I can do that." she mentioned. Cirno could probably remember well enough, though being the rambunctious moron she is, she probably wouldn't do a good job of it.

[Aminee Starlight]

"The list of what there isn't would probably be shorter." Or practically nonexistent now that they technically did have a fairy in Genesis. "Humans, vampires, demons, zombies, superhumans, mutants, witches, aliens, terrible monsters, gods, but no fairies." With all the things here and times this world were nearly brought to the brink of extinction it was a wonder how the people of Genesis got by anymore, yet somehow they endured. It was something to be admired. "Standing on your feet may be a good place to start," she kindly said in response to her walking.

[Cirno]

Cirno listened to Aminee's list. It's not like she was comparing what they had to what she didn't, but it did sound like a Gensokyo-like variety... just sans fairies, starting to walk along the path.

"Yep I... wait..." she mentioned, the thought occurring to her just then "You mean you can't fly? Everyone I know can fly. Even the humans."

[Aminee Starlight]

The Pop Idol watched as Cirno touched down on her own two feet and started walking, smiling down at her before addressing the next question to come out of her mouth. "No we can't fly on our own. In my world we created flying vehicles that allow us to fly from one place to the next and ground vehicles to cover more ground so we wouldn't have to walk everywhere. We lack the wings ourselves." With both now on the ground the Pop Idol started leading the fairy north to the hotel. "The hotel isn't far from here so just follow me."

[Cirno]

"Huh? But humans from Gensokyo could fly and they didn't have wings. I don't even have to use my wings if I don't wanna." she mentioned. Even Cirno knew that humans could fly, and she wasn't the smartest tool in the shed. Maybe she'd show her how some time. Heck, she only used her own wings because it made her faster.

Perhaps the girl just didn't know how. If that were the case, then perhaps the girl didn't know danmaku. Which means...

"Yes... the mighty Cirno needs apprentices!" she thought. She might act on the idea... later. After all, the girl had been nice to her too. Even Cirno could teach people how to fly and hit stuff with danmaku. The ice stuff... not so much. That was just something she could do.

Regardless, Cirno follows the girl.

[Aminee Starlight]

"And how did they manage that?" Aminee asked curiously. The Pop Idol could only think of a few ways a person can fly without wings, either through telekinesis or manipulating gravity and basically swimming through the air. At least, that was the way she understood it. While it was impossible for her it didn't mean she couldn't learn something new as she led Cirno to the hotel. "Telekinesis?"

[Cirno]

That was a good question. Cirno didn't 100% know how it works, she just knows how. If it sounds odd, then it's in some ways akin to how most adults don't know how make or fix a car, but all most everyone knows how to drive one.

"Um... Magic." Cirno explained, continuing to walk. "I'm not so much sure how it works exactly, I just know how to do it."
