All right so basically what happened was I was missing drivers my computer needed to run, so I went to Dell Support on my parents computer, found what I needed, put the disc for drivers in, installed, connect both back to the router (had a port issue so changed ports for one) and now both computers are working. I've just installed IE8 on my computer and am currently doing a critical Windows update. I want to do that, and download my usual protection; AVG, Spybot, Malwarebytes, etc. before doing anything else.

Because while trying to change the settings on Data Execution Prevention so I can start up Internet Explorer I'm told that a systems32 deal is missing or corrupted so now I have to go in and work on that. This is going to be a long day. |
