Now listen here, I've been a loyal customer at this store for five years now and I think the least you can give me is a discount! Fine! $9.99 plus tax and FREE shipping and handling. Anything arrives broken and that's DOUBLE your money back. Thank you.

Apparently an effective sales pitch. Savor it. It might be a while before you see another one.

In other news, after giving that thread a thorough read I'm really enjoying it. The scene with Maricul consoling Zira while healing her was great, the arguments to follow it up were really enjoyable and Amoura's realization plus Maricul's change of heart is really something.
If the fight with Veran is going to be like The Valley of Death with a shroud equipped Amoura leading the charge then I want in. ;D I have been working on a character concept that I just cleared with Ayen that I could throw in there as one of Veran's opponents. I think you guys might enjoy it.

Well if Amoura is meant to be the one to kill Veran what's the point of the rest of us fighting?
I'm not complaining or anything, just asking.

To put Veran into position for Amoura to deliver the finishing blow. Remember just because Amoura is the "chosen one" and has to be the one to end it doesn't make the other fighters useless. Just because the pawns can't move in as many directions as the other pieces doesn't make their impact any less meaningful.

After all the Arashi have done I'm sure quite a few people want vengeance and don't want to just sit around.

I'm sure Veran will provide plenty of undead fodder for people to fight against too.
A little something for everyone! Maricul? She wants to pay Veran back for Zira.

What sucks is neither one of my characters are in any condition to fight, unless I throw Aries in there.

Yes it does... that's exactly what it does. 1: one of the chessmen of least value having the power to move only forward ordinarily one square at a time, to capture only diagonally forward, and to be promoted to any piece except a king upon reaching the eighth rank 2: one that can be used to further the purposes of another Source

I never understood the criticism of the main villain only falling to the main hero.
Isn't that pretty much every single story ever conceived?
