Throw Veran into the supernova to kill him.
Seems pretty obvious.

Somehow I doubt that would work.
And you know Maricul was exaggerating when she said that to Amoura, right?

The Arashi are said to be just as powerful, if not even more powerful, than God himself. If a supernova made by one of them, which is powerful enough to destroy entire dimensions, can't kill Veran then the Shroud of Turin, face of god, which I'm sure will give the wielder god's powers or something similar, won't work either. Maricul powers are only limited by her imagination, that's code for "she can do whatever the fuck she wants"
You can't play the suspense card when your characters can do whatever the fuck they want. Throw Veran into the supernova and stop being stupid. Or better yet. Wish him out of existence.

The unstoppable force meeting the immovable object means nothing to you, does it? It's probably the same logic that disallows Maricul and The End to fight each other. If they could destroy each other they probably would have destroyed each other a long time ago.
The shroud is a means to challenge "fate" that's a different thing entirely.

No the shroud is a means to be on equal footing with the Arashi. If it was just a means to challenge fate that would make it useless. Maricul was already able to challenge her fate as a vampire-witch with far more limited power.

If Maricul can survive the supernova then why not Veran?

Seems a bit premature to be debating the usage of the shroud when we still don't know exactly how it works yet. Also, Mariya, your points become moot because Veran is stronger than Aper.
Also obviously I can't just wish them out of existence, that would be god modding, not to mention the most anticlimactic ending to a story ever.

Which is something you wouldn't have to worry about if you keep characters balanced and give them legitimate strengths and weaknesses. If you really need to have one character with overwhelming and flat out unlimited power keep it to one character in the overall story. I took a calculated guess how the shroud was going to work by knowing what it was and by reading previous posts on the subject, if I'm wrong I'm wrong.

Fair enough but I could easily rule out the plot holes by just saying Maricul wouldn't think of it. You can have the greatest imagination in the world and some things would still go over your head, it's not that outrageous to imagine. That's the whole point of the weakness. Just because Maricul would think about throwing Amoura into the supernova doesn't mean she would think the same thing about Veran.

Because a divine being with a vast superior intellect that wields more knowledge at their fingertips than anyone else wouldn't think of every possible outcome and try it? Not buying it.
