To add onto that... Trust me, I sent many, many PMs over to Zira before even writing this post because I knew I'd take it in one seriously drastic direction.
And the only part I had to actually edit out of the post had nothing to do with what happened to her character.
Also, the process by which I write my posts for this character is simply put; if I am myself disturbed by what I have in mind... I have to put it down on paper. On a personnal note, it makes me very happy that a post of mine has managed to create such an outcry. To spurr such emotion into a reader, that is a victory as a writer.
Plus, saw that most of the critic surrounding the Arashi plot was the lack of payoff/overabundance of buildup... I can proudly tell them to suck on my last post ;D
On topic, I am extremely impressed with Maricul's intervention. This really just set her from being a rather villainous or neutral figure to a heroic one in offering the survivor sanctuary in Utopia.
