Right behind Miracle was the bodyguard that by this point was the High Priestess' shadow when it came to her travels. Her eyes looking around the city in silent amazement at what was accomplished here and just by one woman. Jehanne tried not to take it as a slap in the face. After all they DID face the Netherrealm with even more people at their side and came up short. Yet this woman was able to do it all on her own. She must have had one hell of a game plan, no pun intended.

[Ashley]

"Praise be to Yahweh!"

Phebe also stood in amazement and relief that Aircano had been returned to them. Having been one of those at the city upon its taking it was an encouraging sight to behold. Proof that as long as you never loss faith things would always turn out well in the end. Phebe bowed her head towards the stranger, never minding her reputation as a cold-blooded killing hired by Vulture. It wasn't her place to judge. The Lord had used her to free this city and that was all that mattered to the priestess.

"May the Lord bless you."

Jeho listened to the reason why Ayanna had liberated this city. Though she had risked her life it wasn't for entirely unselfish reasons but the God of Aircano could not fault the woman on her honesty. Of course Miracle was all too happy to allow the woman to stay for as long as she pleased and Jeho would not state otherwise.

"Miracle, come. We have must to discuss with the elders on rebuilding the city."

Jeho continued pass Ayanna, paying her no heed for now.

Miracle frowned and spared Alex a disapproving glance for her backhanded comment at the Lord and talking about booze. The High Priestess was going to speak up about it too until Yahweh brought her mind back to the more pressing matter at hand here. Nodding, the High Priestess followed Yahweh while looking to the others.

"You're all dismissed. Relax. Try to enjoy yourselves a little you've earned it."

Miracle shot another glance at Alex.

"But not too much."

Then resumed following Yahweh.

Jehanne assumed Miracle wasn't including her in that statement and followed the High Priestess who was now being led by Lord Yahweh. A physical manifestation of what has always been in Aircano if she ever saw one. Miracle followed Yahweh command to the letter and Jehanne by proxy did the same. Following Miracle's commands and never questioning it. A type of loyalty that was only known in Aircano. Jehanne had no loyalty to the Lord but as long as Miracle followed his wish then Jehanne would ultimately always find herself doing the same. That what honor meant to the knight in training. No matter what.

Phebe walked over to Ayanna curious to learn more about the woman. Wanting to find out about the face behind the reputation and whatever else she was willing to share. The priestess knew they didn't have booze but they did have wine. That was better than nothing as some travelers passing through Aircano in the past would have you know.

"You... You did all of this by yourself?"

[Alex]

"Perhaps not booze but I know a cellar of the finest wine in Jherra that's going to take a lot more than a couple of scornful demons to disturb."

Explained Alex as she approached Ayanna, allowing the others to go about their business and letting Phebe talk with Ayanna for a bit before coming up to the brunette's side.

"Follow me and I'll show you. You're welcomed to come alone if you'd like, Phebe."

[Ayen]

"Praise be to Yahweh!"

“Right... Yahweh...”

"May the Lord bless you."

“Thanks.”

"You... You did all of this by yourself?"

“I can't take all the credit. The Netherrealm did a pretty good job at kicking their own ass.”

"Perhaps not booze but I know a cellar of the finest wine in Jherra that's going to take a lot more than a couple of scornful demons to disturb."

“You had me at wine cellar.”

Alex smiled and then motioned for Ayanna to follow her.

"Right this way."

Alex led them down the dirt path and then took a right, coming up to a cellar door that she pulled open. Fetching a lamp, she lit it up and led them down the steps into the underground cellar. Putting up the lamp on the wall and then taking out a bottle of Brandy. Pouring Ayanna a glass and handing it to her before pouring herself one and raising it up for a toast.

"To kicking demon's ass."

"You know I can't drink but if it means getting to know our hero better then I'm there."

Phebe followed the pair into the wine cellar. Wondering how Miracle and the others had allowed something like this to exist all this time. Though that did explain why they were never short on wine when it was needed for ceremony. Phebe only smiled at the two as they shared a glass and then looked over to Ayanna.

"I'm curious. Why did you leave Isafaro?"

[Ayen]

"You know I can't drink but if it means getting to know our hero better then I'm there."

Hero? It felt strange being called that. Ayanna was used to people cursing her name and calling her a bitch, not hero.

"Right this way."

Ayanna followed Alex to the underground wine cellar, amazed that she actually missed this place while rebuilding but it didn't matter now. She raised up her glass.

"To kicking demon's ass."

“A woman after my own heart.”

And tapped it against Alex's glass before taking one big gulp. She really did need a drink after everything she's been through.

"I'm curious. Why did you leave Isafaro?"

“Long story. Let's just say I got sick of the regime and called a quits. I originally headed for Kari but the bastards wouldn't let me in, so, with limited options I decided to come here and give the demon army their eviction notice.”

[Alex]

"I might take more than your heart," flirted Alex.

Alex took a sip of her wine and listened to Ayanna's answer to Phebe's question, knowing that probably wasn't the answer a priestess or most of the people in Aircano would want to hear but it was the truth. Alex could respect that.

"Lucky for us Kari are a bunch of bastards, then."

[Ashley]

"Alex, that is not appropriate! Maybe you should put down the wine."

Phebe didn't feel entirely comfortable scolding a superior but she couldn't just let this behavior slide like that. Her eyes went back to Ayanna and didn't so much like the idea that if Kari had allowed Ayanna into their city Aircano would still be roaming with demons.

"So, you only saved our home so you can live in it?"

[Ayen]

"I might take more than your heart."

Ayanna cocked an eyebrow at Alex's flirting and stopped drinking her wine. She had been to enough parties with Drake and Zach in Isafaro to know where this was going.

"Alex, that is not appropriate! Maybe you should put down the wine."

“Yes, let's blame the wine. It's the root of all evil,” said Ayanna sarcastically.

"Lucky for us Kari are a bunch of bastards, then."

“Lucky you.”

"So, you only saved our home so you can live in it?"

“Not what you were expecting? I never called myself a hero so don't act all hurt that you see I'm not.”

[Alex]

"I'll put down the wine when I'm good and ready to put down the wine."

Alex took another sip and listened to the exchange between Ayanna and Phebe, chuckling at Ayanna's sarcasm before interjecting at the part about Ayanna not being a hero.

"Don't mind her, Ayanna. She's young. She's still learning how the world works."
