Gabrielle feet touched the ground and already she could feel the heat of the place all around her as she set Sincara down to tend to her. The others could go on ahead if they must but the Battling Bard of Potidaea knew Sincara wasn't going to make it if they didn't tend to the wound now. Keeping tabs on that stick Zora lit she pressed it against the small wound created by the dart before applying poultice over the wound. The same thing Xena did for her when she was hit by a poison arrow. Granted, not exactly the same but the desire to slow down the effects were what mattered in the end. "This will delay the effects of the poison until we get you back to Kari to treat it with an antidote. Can you walk?"

"This is unnecessary..."
Sincara managed out before grunting at the fire that made contact with her skin. When Gabrielle was finished she pulled herself up to her feet and holstered the revolver in her hand. Brown eyes looking around the area as flames burned the walls up ahead and screams of torture could be heard echoing all around them.
"Thought it'd be hotter."
Sincara then turned her attention to the Ajerian after he made it through the entrance with his friend.
"All right. You're the one with the plan to destroy this place. You take point the rest of us will follow you."

"Hmm..."Though he harbored his share of concern for the state Sincara was in at the moment, Demetrios trusted Gabrielle to have the situation in hand. He skulked a little ways past them, Diabolus grasped loosely in his right hand, having closely followed the two young women through the portal. This world was just as he had envisioned it; barren, blistering hot, and rife with motifs of most interpretations of Hell. Fitting, he supposed, what with the army that had spewed forth from these depths to claim the realm above. "Can you feel it?" he asked, rhetorically more than anything. "The malignant power that pervades this place?" They had emerged onto a wide plateau overlooking several fenced-in outcrops that jutted out into the sea of lava below them. The Ajerian knelt at the edge of the sheer cliff, placing his free hand against the dirt as if feeling for something. "It courses through the very ground beneath us... Sustaining it, almost, along with the twisted life that comes from it."He fell thoughtfully silent for another brief moment, his helm turning as he scanned the fiery horizon. "I sense a number of exceptionally strong focal points, like leylines where this energy gathers and peaks. If we could use those to harness or compromise that flow of power, we could inflict some widespread damage..."

From the moment Zora stepped through the nexus and entered the Netherrealm the heat hit her harder than perhaps anyone else in the group. Already sweating bullets as she looked to the others. Even so the young witch refused to express her weakness although it was apparent to anyone who took the time to take a good look at her. She wouldn't last long at this rate.
"This will delay the effects of the poison until we get you back to Kari to treat it with an antidote. Can you walk?"
“Where did you learn to do that?”
"This is unnecessary..."
“You should be more appreciative. Anyone else would have left you for dead back at Moon Valley.”
"Thought it'd be hotter."
“Yeah... Me too...”
"All right. You're the one with the plan to destroy this place. You take point the rest of us will follow you."
"Can you feel it? The malignant power that pervades this place?"
“That isn't all I feel...”
"It courses through the very ground beneath us... Sustaining it, almost, along with the twisted life that comes from it. I sense a number of exceptionally strong focal points, like leylines where this energy gathers and peaks. If we could use those to harness or compromise that flow of power, we could inflict some widespread damage..."
“Huh?”

"Something I picked up from Xena." Gabrielle turned her head to look at Zora, noticing that she was drenched in her own sweat. "Zeus." Gabrielle stood up after Sincara showed she was good to walk on her own two feet and went over to Zora, placing her hands on her shoulders and looking into her eyes. "I never should have brought you here. I'm such an idiot... Go back through the Nexus into Moon Valley and wait for us there. If we're not back by nightfall I want you to get out of the city do you understand?"

Sincara began to branch out through her power as well. The sins as one could have guessed were at their strongest here. It shouldn't be too difficult at all to hurl their own deadly sins back at them to prevent interception from legions of demons as they battled against the very sins that had brought them here in the first place. The demons that were born here would be a different matter however. It looked like Demetrios wouldn't have to play point after all as now she could sense the strong focal points and began moving forward towards the nearest one as they had no time to waste.
"Let's go."

Mukuro was behind everyone, and every once and a while, he would glance behind him, making sure no one was following them. His trident was in an offensive position with his illusion eye at the ready. This reminded him of his hell, where he forced into for some time. He shuddered at the thought, and then turned back towards the group, who was further ahead. Even though he had been traveling with them for some time, he still felt uneasy around them, especially the newest guy. Desperate to somehow aid the group, seeing as how he felt like he was worthless right now, he looked around, stopping at the young witch. He noticed that she was sweating, even more than the rest, and she seemed very tired. "Not that it is my business, but are you alright?"

"Something I picked up from Xena."
“Right, right. The Warrior Princess you were telling me about.”
"Zeus."
“Her last name is Zeus? Odd name.”
"Not that it is my business, but are you alright?"
“I'm fine.”
"I never should have brought you here. I'm such an idiot... Go back through the Nexus into Moon Valley and wait for us there. If we're not back by nightfall I want you to get out of the city do you understand?"
“I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here by your side, do you understand?”

It was note entirely as he had expected, but it was close enough. The realm was indeed a veritable Hell. With the forces that poured forth from and drew strength from this place, it being a Hell was fitting indeed. And it would seem the others in their group had much the same thoughts.
The query in regards to the power that was suffused in the very air of the place was unanswered by the good Doctor. He was having enough trouble hearing his companions at all; the Helmet of Fate was practically screaming into his mind, with warnings of t he chaos and trouble that crawled throughout this realm. It wanted its host gone from here with all due haste.
With an effort, he forced the Helmet to quiet itself, turning his attention to the others. His senses now freed, he could sense the focal points in the realm -- they stood out like blazing torches in a dim dungeon compared to the rest of this realm, now that he was actively looking for them. When Sincara started toward one of them, he merely offered a "Let us, indeed." as he likewise set off.

As expected, Sincara was off as soon as she found the objective Demetrios was referring to. The nearest leyline he could feel centered on one of the nearby arenas, the largest by far. The battleground was many metres across, allowing a great deal of mobility around its rocky obstacles, and fenced in with jutting spikes of what appeared to be bone.
The juncture of power was focused not on the arena itself, though, but on the large viewing balcony above it, settled in the mouth of a massive, skull-shaped carving of rock. Its eye sockets glowed almost blindingly with a fierce inner flame; venting, the Ajerian surmised, any excessive gathering of the otherworldly power that ran through it. He guessed that power would be harnessed to execute a warrior in the arena when the crowd were displeased with their display.
"Stay alert, and let's get this over with quickly. The world itself could be used as a weapon against us at a moment's notice, never mind the fodder who'll throw themselves at us while drawing from its power."

As Gabrielle expected Zora was insisting on staying by her side no matter what, in much the same way Gabrielle had always insisted to stay by Xena's as long as she was able to walk. She wondered if she had came off as thick-headed and stubborn to Xena when she refused to leave her side. There was no time to think about that now sd they still had a job to do and Gabrielle wasn't about to budge for Zora that easily. "Zora, do I have to drag you back across that Nexus kicking and screaming?"

"Are the rest of you coming or not?"
Sincara asked to the other three who had yet to move. Meanwhile her eyes fixated on the skull's mouth above and aimed her revolver's barrel towards it. About to harness it through the revolver's power in much the same way she managed to harness the energy found in the Downward Spiral when a torrent of energy in the distance caught her attention. Her eyes moving towards it and recognizing the holy energy that was mixed with the unholy energy of the Netherrealm almost immediately.
"Miracle."

"Zora, do I have to drag you back across that Nexus kicking and screaming?"
“I'd like to see you try,” challenged Zora.
"Are the rest of you coming or not?"
“I'm coming, I'm coming,” snapped Zora.
The witch moved past Gabrielle, ignoring every fiber of her being screaming at her to turn back as she sprinted into a short run to catch up with the others.
"Miracle."
“I reckon we could use a couple. Is this one of the focal points?” asked Zora before looking over in the direction Sincara was looking. “What the bloody hell is that!?”

Gabrielle sighed and stood back up following Zora to rejoin with the others. The Traveling Bard's eyes were also diverted to the energy current that had launched into the air from afar before it dived down and dissolved. Sincara had said what Gabrielle can only assume was a name for the person who did it. Miracle. Gabrielle had heard of a Miracle from a couple of Kari citizens who were talking about Aircano but she didn't know much else besides her being a priestess of Lord Yahweh. Even so Gabrielle was concerned for any innocent person caught up in this but they couldn't allow themselves to be sidetracked as she tapped Sincara's shoulder. "I believe you were in the process of absorbing something."

"None of our concern."
Sincara replied to Zora before turning her back on the sight in the distance and resumed her aim of the skull above them. However before she squeezed the trigger she noticed the severe lack of obstacles opposing them and began to look around for any signs of Netherrealm forces in the surrounding area.
"Something's not right here. Why haven't we encountered any resistance yet?"
