Future of Jherrazad, Moon Valley and Elim

First off we, the staff, would like to thank you all for your replies so far to the DoA survey. We are currently reviewing your suggestions and I intend to reply to each of your PM with our thoughts. If you haven't sent in a suggestion yet and would like to do so there's still time. All you have to do is reply to the PM sent to your inbox.

All right, when the Netherrealm and Arashi plots draw to a close (both are scheduled to end this month) I'll be working to rehab Jherrazad and Moon Valley post Netherrealm invasion and spending more time in development for our second continent Elim. Gabrielle and Sincara have agreed to work on Elysios in addition to helping Aminee further develop Kari.

Eric (AKA The Spokesman of Insanity for those who don't know) will mostly be working on the Dead City with Arix, I'll be working on Ignis myself with plans to introduce a Fire Temple (think Legend of Zelda OOT) and Stranger will be representing the elves population by playing both the Elf God and an Elf Tribe located in Essancee. And of course everyone else is welcomed to help out anyway they can, especially in the Unmarked Terrain where you can add to the continent via RP.

**SPOILERS**

I plan for Ranko to survive the Netherrealm invasion. After her defeat in Kari she'll retreat back to the desert region with the remnants of the Netherrealm and rebuild her Empire from scratch.

Moon Valley, after settling back in and rebuilding their home will be hosting an election to decide a new Mayor. Now anyone interested in participating may make a character to do so, assuming they don't already have one that fits. The plot is bound to bring up various issues as people campaign like what their laws towards immigration should be (you people from other worlds that keep popping up, yeah you, the one who just blew up my home, you're immigrants, just thought you should know.) national defense, foreign policy and all your usual politics stuff with a DoA twist.

Cool. I like the idea of an election. Let us see how the politics of the world works and what natives think of everything that's happened. I like Jherrazad, and Ranko, but I feel the Netherrealm might have played its course. What ever happened to that religious cult that lived in the desert region? Perhaps Ranko could rebuild her empire from them.

Veran cult. Could work. A weakened and desperate Ranko can lure them in acting as a prophet for Veran return and their activities can bring in people looking to infiltrate and uncover the cult's history which I imagine dates back quite a ways.

Remnants aren't the same thing as the actual army. They wouldn't have their adaptability and if they die they stay dead. It's basically an open window for people to bring in Mortal Kombat characters.

Seeing how there were only 30 refugees that made it out of Moon Valley with the majority of them being the parents of Tori & Friends where exactly does Lex Luther and others come into play?

Unless you're giving us permission to play your characters' parents in which case I call dibs on Nex's dad.

Additionally I was thinking of throwing June in as a candidate myself. It would have been Tori but I have other plans for her, and backup plans should those plans fall through.

A dark cult rises in the desert region converting and sacrificing people to their god, declaring the deserts their holy land. Leading to conflict with a resurrecting Jherrazad and spiraling into a holy wars with Aircano but keep it regional this time instead of having it spill out to a global scale. Let it be more "Command & Conquer"ish and give everyone their own footing.

On the Moon Valley front, take advantage of the refugees all knowing each other and being friends then have them run against each other for Mayor. Showcase just how ugly politics can be and cause division at a time where unity should be their ultimate goal.

And that's my two cents. I have no suggestions for Elim at this time apart from "Make a map."
