Kara told Tori to meet her at the farm in the usual spot, she had a lot of explaining to do. The usual place being the loft on the upper-level balcony of the barn that was built for her by her father Jonathan. Featuring a couch, a desk, a hammock and several bookcases and a single window where her telescope remained to this day. For old time sake Kara looked through the telescope and up to the stars that she has seen up close and in a new light her mind could have never conceived before her ascension into godhood. Turning from the telescope she waited for Tori to arrive. Tori had been the one to resurrect her so it was about time she returned the favor.

After both she and Kara returned to their friends and family and explained everything Tori had spent most of her time at home basically being the house ghost as Kara got back into doing the Superwoman thing. Last she heard Kara was spotted near the Downward Spiral and the Crystal Expanse when it melted and that flood threatened everything until it mysteriously disappeared. Wondering if Kara had something to do with it, Tori eagerly flew through the walls of the barn and then up through the loft's floor now levitating in front of her best friend.

"Yes and no." Kara struggled with how exactly to break the news to her. She could think of many different ways and even more to that thanks to her ascended mind but with so many options available to her made it that much harder to choose. Seeing this Kara decided to just keep it simple. "You're not going to believe this, Tori, but during the battle in the Crystal Expanse I saw the Creator with my own two eyes. It was an experience like no other I have ever felt and an experience I'll never feel again. It was wonderful!"

Tori blinked, confused by that answer and waited patiently for Kara to elaborate what she meant.
"You're not going to believe this, Tori, but during the battle in the Crystal Expanse I saw the Creator with my own two eyes. It was an experience like no other I have ever felt and an experience I'll never feel again. It was wonderful!"
“The Creator? You mean Lord Yahweh? He's real?”
Tori might have to reconsider her atheism. |

"No, well yes Lord Yahweh is real but he's not the Creator, the Creator is a separate entity altogether. Infinite. Everything Lord Yahweh is said to be in the bible and it told me something very important." Kara walked up to Tori and took her by the hands, normally this would have been impossible but thanks to her new found divinity she was able to touch the ghost as if she was corporal and she smiled at Tori. "It told me that every ten thousand years a new god is chosen to rule over the continents of Genesis. I was selected to be the god of Jherra-- Well, goddess... I accepted and now I have the power to do this."
Kara let go of Tori and turned around, pure white energy shot out from her hands and drew an outline of a human body on the loft's floor. Once it was finished the energy filled up the outline and from there a body was created. Tori's body; exactly as it was before but also brand new and full of life, rather than having sixteen years of age on it she'd feel like a new born baby again. The light soon faded, leaving the body on the ground for the spirit to return to. "Go ahead and lay down. I'll rejoin your soul with your body from there. You'll feel like a new woman I promise."

Tori couldn't believe it God was real and he wasn't the creator of the universe. Everything about him being the one true god in the bible was a lie. She always thought the things found in that book made no sense and there were several passages that contradicted each other but she never would have guessed that God was real and just a liar. When the gods became liars and blasphemers what hope did humanity have left?

Tori noticed that Kara was actually able to touch her and after she revealed herself as a god it made sense but that didn't change how overwhelming all of this was. Tori didn't even have time to take any of it in before Kara started pouring light down into the ground and recreated her body before her very eyes. The ghost was in awe she could not believe this was really happening. It felt as though a dream that at any moment she would wake up from.
"Go ahead and lay down. I'll rejoin your soul with your body from there. You'll feel like a new woman I promise."
She would not. This was real and she were only seconds away from having her body back. Levitating over the body and turning around to face away from it after which she steadily laid herself down and phased through her body, laying perfectly still to match its position on the ground so Kara could do her thing.

"Okay. One resurrected friend coming right up." Kara's rubbed her hands together and then stretched them before raising them over Tori's body. Focusing her energy, she began to merge Tori's soul back with her body. Tori would feel her heart beating against, her lungs filling up with air and breathing out of her mouth as she rejoined with her body and returned to the land of the living. "Tori? How do you feel?"

Oh dear mother of God, please tell me you know what you're doing.
But Tori would have nothing to worry about. As the light shinned down from her hands and upon her corporeal and incorporeal form she would feel a sudden jolt and in the moments to pass body and soul were reunited once more.
"Tori? How do you feel?"
In response to the question Tori would jump up to her feet and grab Kara, spinning her around and dipping her before replying, “I feel great!” And she did feel great. Like a new born baby that was just bursting with energy. Tori let Kara go on a spin and then performed a back flip. Words could not describe the sensation going through the redhead at this moment. It was just wonderful to be back.
“Thank you, Kara! Thank you! I feel like I could dance all night. WOOO!” |

A smile appeared on the Woman of Steel's face as Tori jumped up to her feet and celebrated being rejoined with her new body. She even took her by the hand and dipped her during a dance to rejoice at what Kara had done for her before letting her go. "Really? What else do you think you can do all night?"

“Run. I could just run around the city all night without stopping for a breather.”
Tori replied while being completely oblivious to the sexual undertones in Kara's question. Once the excitement started to fade and Tori started thinking about everything she had learned here today, a look of concern grew on her facial features as to the future of her best friend.
“Now that you're a god, what does that mean? What will you have to do now?” |

Kara frowned when Tori missed her advance entirely. For someone who was so smart she sure was dumb on matters of love. Some things never changed. As for what would change... "I can do whatever I want with Jherra as long as I keep and maintain the balance in my continent. That's my only limit. I already took it upon myself to rebuild Kari and Aircano. I also removed Carari Grey from power and forced out all remaining Isafaro's presence. We'll be having an election to determine the new Moon Valley mayor."
That was only three things total. Fourth being the matter of Tori's body. There were still the matter of the military dictatorship ran by General Vulture, Empress Chloe, Darkseid and of course Tajna Rasha and the Arashi threat. "I have a lot on my plate. I may not be able to hang out with you and the others as much as I used to. Unless of course... you come with me."

Tori was taken aback by that answer. She never would have thought that the creator of the universe would give an individual so much power and so much leeway to use that power how they wished. Though it was a good thing in the right hands it didn't change the fact that power corrupts.
“And how, pray tell, would you keep the balance?”
"I have a lot on my plate. I may not be able to hang out with you and the others as much as I used to. Unless of course... you come with me."

Aircano was destroyed because it was deprived of darkness and Kari was destroyed because it was deprived of light." For this reason Superwoman got involved in the confrontation back in Isafaro that held off Gabrielle allowing for a warrior of light to enter the city to help maintain balance until she could drive out the looming darkness that already threatened to devour the city. General Vulture.
"The merging of realms affected the balance between light and dark but the foreigners aren't the cause of the imbalance by themselves. If only we could use Utopia. It was created by the remnants of lost realms and continues to absorb the realms that are destroyed everyday making it stronger. It stands as a loophole and could easily be used to help keep balance. But its leader has less than noble intentions in mind for the Grand Design." Kara thought for a moment when Tori asked what she could do and then remembered something else the Creator had told her after the ascension. "I'm allow to create my own warriors, like angels, that help me keep order in Jherra. If you agree I could give you the power to help me."

Superwoman couldn't blame her, it was a lot to take in. "Everything is separated by light and dark. The universes need these two things to co-exist in order to maintain the balance in existence. If either light or dark takes control of a specific area for too long you'll start to see results like the Battle of Aircano. Do you understand?" Superwoman gave herself a mental slap as she remembered that Tori knew nothing about Utopia. "Never mind that right now."
As for Tori's next question, "What would you want to be? I could give you any set of abilities you'd want. If you accept. All you have to do is think it and I can create it. What would you want to be?"
