"You're right. It's rude to do this with people sleeping nearby. I'll go down front and get us a private room."
“That's not what I mean.”
Ayen stood up from his seat and looked towards Yuna sleeping soundlessly nearby before looking back at Lori.
“I'm just not that kind of guy, okay?”

That's not what I mean. I'm just not that kind of guy, okay? "Is it because of her?" Lori asked while looking over to Yuna then back at Ayen, neither sadness or jealousy in her voice as she asked the question. She was more curious than anything. "Do you have feelings for her?"

"Is it because of her?"
If Lori was quick enough to catch it, she would have seen a light blush hit Ayen's cheeks when she motioned to Yuna. He stepped into the darkness just so she couldn't make it out as he was afraid she'd blabbed or slip it out if she knew.
"Do you have feelings for her?"
“I normally like to bond with a person before doing something as serious as what you proposed.”

Lori didn't catch the blushing but she was curious as to why Ayen needed to stand in the dark just to answer. I normally like to bond with a person before doing something as serious as what you proposed. "Of course, I understand. Is there something wrong? Why are you standing in the dark?"

"Of course, I understand. Is there something wrong? Why are you standing in the dark?"
“Nothing's wrong!” replied Ayen defensively. “I'm just tired. I'm going to bed.”
Not another word was uttered by the boy as he headed over to the bed across from Yuna's and closed his eyes. Wanting nothing more than to sleep off the embarrassment that came on his face at Lori's question.

Nothing's wrong! I'm just tired. I'm going to bed. "All right. Goodnight." Lori let Ayen go to bed and then walked over out onto the balcony to take in the wonderful view and beautiful night air. Placing her hands against the railing, she leaned slightly against the balcony and looked up to the night sky with a smile on her face, excited for the morrow when she would set sail somewhere she's never been to before.
Little did she know her life was about to change forever.
