To Hallowton

It wasn't anything fancy but it would do. Saturn pulled up a chair -- a little surprise Ayen didn't take it upon himself to pull out Yuna and Lori's chairs with how badly he obviously wanted them -- and sat down next to Yuna. Thinking about what she would do once the ship set sail tomorrow morning and took them from one continent to another. The Soldier of Silence had no intention on sticking with this group for very long so the only question then was when to leave? Saturn thought this over as she began eating a salad that was prepared with the dinner that was brought up to them.

[Queen Lori]

Lori had no objection to Ayen wrapping an arm around her and gladly paid both for their room and the meal they were about to eat. Seeing that no one else has chosen to sit down next to Ayen she would take the seat next to the man and smiled over at him. "Hi."

She looked over the food, not particularly hungry herself but didn't like to waste anything. Taking a sip of her water she shared some of her food with the others and glanced around the table. Noticing that no one was talking she decided to break the silence. "Well, this is exciting. I've never been in an inn before. Have any of you?"

[Ayen]

"Hi."

“Hi.”

"Well, this is exciting. I've never been in an inn before. Have any of you?"

“I haven't. Never had much reason to.”

[Yuna]

Finally, after a moment of awkwardness they had moved to a discussion Yuna could have without blushing. "Several. Back in my home world of Spira I traveled a lot so stopping by inns to rest was common. None were as big or fancy as they are here in Hallowton, and we didn't have servants bringing up our food, but they were comfortable and that was all we could ask for." Yuna remembered those moments fondly and missed her friends terribly. She held on to her faith that she would see them again. Even Tidus.

[Hotaru]

"No."

Said Saturn between bites of her meal. Before coming here the Soldier of Silence didn't even know what an inn was. There were no inns or anything like them during her time on Titan Castle and she did not know if any of the other kingdoms had them since she never ventured far from her own planet and she would be put to sleep by Queen Serenity soon after.

[Queen Lori]

I haven't. Never had much reason to. "This your first time out of Moon Valley?"

Several. Back in my home world of Spira I traveled a lot so stopping by inns to rest was common. None were as big or fancy as they are here in Hallowton, and we didn't have servants bringing up our food, but they were comfortable and that was all we could ask for. Lori's eyes lit up when Yuna announced that she came from a different world that stood apart from this one. "You're from another world? What's it like there?"

No. "And what about you? Do you come from another world as well?"

[Ayen]

"This your first time out of Moon Valley?"

“Nah. I've traveled before, visiting Jherrazad, the Crystal Expanse and a few trips here before this one. First time I hung out with a group though.”

And all those times he flew. That made travel easier and he sincerely wished that he could have flown here this time. Walking sucked.

"No."

"You're from another world? What's it like there? And what about you? Do you come from another world as well?"

“She's from space,” he teased Saturn.

"Spira is a beautiful place. Peaceful, quiet, diverse. You'd like it there, I think. Ever since the Eternal Calm there hasn't been much conflict. We were in the process of rebuilding when the tower appeared and that was when I got sent here. I want to search Genesis far and wide to see if anyone else from Spira is here. Then I'll try to return to my world and pick up where I left off."

After explaining what her world was like to Lori, Yuna looked at Ayen disapprovingly again. She didn't know how many times she has given him this look but with the way he acted around others, mainly Saturn, this was in no way going to be the last time she sent him this look. "That isn't very nice."

[Hotaru]

Saturn ignored Ayen and responded to Lori's question.

"All you need to know is I'm not from here and I don't plan on staying."

By the sound of it Yuna and Saturn had similar goals. The High Summoner wanted to find other residents of her world and the Soldier of Silence needed to search for any links back to her own galaxy. She didn't understand why Ayen was tagging along. This all seemed like a long way to go just to hook up with a girl who would have to return to her own world sooner or later. And Lori was even more suspicious in that respect. What was she really after?

[Queen Lori]

Nah. I've traveled before, visiting Jherrazad, the Crystal Expanse and a few trips here before this one. First time I hung out with a group though. "You must have had so many adventures," said Lori as she rested a hand on Ayen's arm and leaned towards him. "I'd love to hear them."

Ayen noticed Lori's hand on his arm and he smiled at the girl.

“I'd love to share them.”

“Saturn's a big girl, Yuna she can take care of herself. Isn't that right, Saturn?”

[Yuna]

"The Calm is a decade of peace in Spira where the monster that terrorized us, Sin, was gone after being defeated by a summoner on their pilgrimage. We believed the monster to be punishment for a war that led to many deaths. I was the next summoner in line to bring about the Calm and my friends and I found a way to defeat Sin permanently bringing about the Eternal Calm. A life without Sin." Though those times were rough and Yuna was sure she wouldn't see Besaid again after setting sail to begin her pilgrimage, looking back now it was actually the best time in her life.

"That doesn't give you the right to be rude," replied Yuna to Ayen before looking back to Lori who was now excited about the idea of visiting Spira. "I would love to show Spira to all of you. Someday. Once I find a way back."

[Hotaru]

The Soldier of Silence opt to continue ignoring Ayen and his little back and forth with Yuna regarding manners as her attention was to the Hallowton native.

"Why do you want to know so badly?"

Saturn eyed her suspiciously and watched her expressions closely to see if she could find any clues as to her true motives of wanting to be around them and why she was so curious of their backgrounds.

Lori smiled and clapped her hands together in excitement. "I can't wait."

Why do you want to know so badly? "I'm only trying to get to know you all better. You don't have to answer if you don't want to I'm just naturally curious about other people and cultures. I can talk about myself if it would make you feel more comfortable."

I'd love to share them. Lori could tell Ayen was enjoying her company and the attention she was giving him. She decided then and there would be the appropriate time to ask, "After which would you like to have sexual intercourse with me?" Only it wasn't the appropriate time to ask. It wasn't even appropriate to ask.

[Ayen]

“What about her? I don't see you doing much when she's rude to me.”

"Why do you want to know so badly?"

“At east, Saturn before you spring something. Lori isn't here to cause trouble. Trust me on this.”

He was psychic, after all.

"After which would you like to have sexual intercourse with me?"

Drake had gone to take a sip of his drink when Lori came out with that question and it caused him to have a spit take right there in front of the table as he looked over to the woman in shock.

“What!?”
