"Faaaaancy." Argus let out a whistle, crossed his arms and spun around in a slow circle to take in the sights. "Yeah, while father was quite the architect, he really wasn't into adding beauty since it's hell. Everything had to be dark with spooky statues and black, black, black...and black." He tucked his purple bangs behind his ears and faced the Empress, who was sitting on her throne, "At least it's not made of bones. I think it suits you."
I have a Queen Sized bed.
Argus' breath was caught in his throat. Breathing wasn't necessary for him to stay "alive" as it were, but without it he couldn't speak. The poor hybrid froze in place and his thought process momentarily halted.
Did she just make a not-so-subtle move on him? It was time to change the subject and quickly.
"So! What else is there in this place?"

"Really? From reading your memories he struck me as having a strange obsession with the color white." That was probably a good thing, all that white would make you go blind before long and it got dirty quicker. Chloe couldn't help but smile when Argus got all flustered when she mentioned her bed and couldn't help but to tease him further. Wrapping an arm around him and smiling seductively. "What's the matter, Argus? You don't want to see my chambers?" Chloe fought to keep a straight face until she finally just broke and started laughing while pulling away from Argus. "Okay, okay, I'll be good from now on. But you should have seen the look on your face."
Chloe brought them to the dinning room which had many different portraits on the walls and a long brown wooden table at the center of the room with enough chairs to have a feast for at least twenty people. She wondered if she would have to do something about all the wood lest someone gets the idea to break the table and use the remains as a stake to drive through her heart and kill her. "This is the dinning room. I don't know if I'll ever use but you know, I don't have the heart to remove it."
