Jaden looked around. This place was great! It reminded him of Duel Academy back home, but he felt he could relax here. Jaden sat down and let out a sigh. Alexis, Syruis, Chazz. Everyone just be okay. I’ll be back someday. he thought silently to himself. He watched the clouds for a while. He didn’t know anything about this place or really how he had got here. After a while longer he sat up. As much as this place reminded him of duel academy it also made him miss it. He wanted to go back. He drew the top card of his deck. Winged Kurbioh. ”Well, get back. Theres no way I’m gonna miss out on seeing my friends. After all it’s because of them that we’ve come this far. The bond between us has always been there, even if the memories were gone for a time.” he said. Before that though he needed to know where exactly here was. Jaden picked himself off the ground. Where to start was the major question. He might be a slacker at some things, but when it came to his friends he didn’t disappoint. He would see them again. He took a look at everything. ”Man, I am so lost.” he said sighing. A friendly face might be good about now. He leaned back on the building. Where to go from here? Miracle stood off to his right, lowering the hand she had lifted up to her mouth to get his attention as she looked him over. From the way he looked and his actions, the High Priestess could safely say this person was not from around here. Mainly because he failed to realize the building he was leaning against, was the crystallized holy temple of Yahweh. Luckily it was she who found him and Solomon, or any of the really cranky people who had a low tolerance for this kind of thing.
"Pardon me, sir, but I'm going to have to ask you not to lean on the temple."

Jaden looked to the right towards the source of the sound finding a young girl. Jaden paused to look behind him? ”A temple?” he asked as Honest, his angel duel spirit, appeared at his side. Jaden looked to his side. ”Do you get it?” Jaden asked. Honest immediately replied ”Temples are places people go to worship in.” he said. ”So you mean like the Gravekeepers?” he asked briefly turning his attention back to Miracle. ”Sorry. I didn’t mean anything.” he said. In his experience even the slightest amount of disrespect could get him buried alive. It had almost happened once so it could happen again. Honest shook his head. ”Not like that Jaden. Most temples are much nicer.” he said before disappearing leaving Jaden to figure out the rest. Jaden looked back at Miracle. ”So is this is a temple….That must make you a priestess right?” he asked pointing a finger at her. It made sense. Hmmmm, it would be a good idea to introduce himself. ”I’m Jaden Yuki. The Future King of Games!” he said a big grin on his face. Even though he was here, that didn’t mean he had lost his dream, without dreams and the bonds between friends what was there? ”Whats your name?” he asked standing up and dusting himself off.

"King of Games?"
That was a term lost on Miracle and she figured it must have been something back in his own world. It captured the young High Priestess' interests and she would remind herself to ask about it later.
"I am Miracle, High Priestess of Lord Yahweh and Crystal City. Pleased to meet you."
Miracle performed an old fashioned bow towards Jaden, pulling slightly on the end of her priestess robes before she continued.
"What is your name?"

She didn’t know what King of Games was? He almost said something, but stopped himself. ”Oh right, new world. Well, it’s a title given to the best duelist in the world. And that someone is gonna be me.” he said pointing to himself. Well after he fought Yugi for real. That alternate dimension didn’t count even if it was way cool. He paused at the bow not knowing what to do. ”Put er there!” he said extending his hand. Jaden had never been one for much of the formal stuff. He had even missed his own graduation ceremony if that meant anything, but not his friends. Their bonds were still as strong as ever. His name? He had already given her that, but perhaps she really had been distacted by the title. ”Jaden Yuki.” he said taking a look around. So this was a temple, but what about the rest of it? ”So where exactly is this place?” Jaden asked.

"Duelist? You fight? I would hardly call that a game."
Miracle didn't understand. How could she? With the way he worded it it gave Miracle the impression he was some kind of tournament fighter (he certainly didn't look the part but looks can be deceiving) where everybody treated violence as a game. But even so it wasn't Miracle's place to judge. Looking at the hand the High Priestess only smiled and shook it before answering his question.
"We call our world Genesis. Crystal City was built in the Crystal Expanse, a frozen over wasteland that was once a beautiful metropolis."

Fight? No that wasn’t it. Jaden frowned. ”No dueling is about cards.” he said pulling out his deck. ”You start out with so many Life Points and then you try to get them down to 0 with these.” he said pulling out Winged Kuriboh from his deck and handing it to her. Winged Kuriboh appeared from his card and went to her shoulder. ”He likes you.” he said smiling. So this world was Genesis. He supposed the area he was in right now was the Crystal City though. ”So what exactly do you do here?” he asked.

Miracle was relieved to hear that it was just about cards. It seems strange thinking about it but a lot more better than the thought she originally had once the word "duelist" was uttered from Jaden's lips. Being handed the Winged Kuriboh card she looked over the picture, finding it confusion at first but then thought that the creature in the picture was cute. She was startled when the animal came out of the card and onto the shoulder but quickly warmed up to it and patted it's head, at least she assumed that was it's head, and smiled brightly before looking back over to Jaden.
"I'm the leader of Crystal City. I run the place with my best friend Solomon."

Jaden took his card back before putting his deck back in his duel disk. You never knew when you would need it especially around here it seemed. Winged Kuriboh hovered around for a bit longer before returning as well. So he was talking to the leader. He glanced up at the temple. Oh. She seemed rather young for that, but then again he was might’ve been a bit young to save the world 4 times now. He supposed that made them even. ”This place reminds me of the island back home. I even get in just as much trouble.” he said closing his eyes smiling remembering how Crowler had always gotten on him for one thing or another. ”So what do you do here exactly?” he asked. Sure she ran the place, but what did that mean?

That was the short version but in terms of maintaining the peace she has unfortunately fallen short to the stubbornness and madness that was General Koma Iz Vulture of Isafaro.
"Solomon is in charge of the city's defenses and keeps the place well organized."

The word of God? Jaden was a bit confused by all that, but he was sure that light and dark did exist. He had fought against both sides of it at times. His deck started to glow he quickly opened it and pulled it out and pulled off the top card as Honest appeared. ”Hey, welcome back.” Jaden said. Honest nodded listening to Miracle speak before finally responding. ”Jaden, if it’s okay with you I would like to stay here a while.” he said turning his gaze to Jaden. Stay here. Jaden never had been one for staying somewhere to long. He also assumed there were others who needed his help. Those who could use people like him. Jaden just smiled. ”Well that’s really up to Miracle isn’t it?” I mean she is the one who would be here. He said already indicating he would leave. Honest then turned his gaze as Jaden slowly held the card up for her ”Well how bout it then? Would you mind an extra angel around?” he asked. If Jaden was right she wouldn’t mind and everyone would be happy, if not there wasn’t much to do about it then was there?

Miracle looked over at the card which was offered to her and let out a warm smile to the two. She reached out her right hand and the card into hers, careful not to bend it, as she looked over the picture and the stats in front of it. The young High Priestess didn't understand what any of the stats mean but the picture on the card was very pretty.
"I think we could definitely use an angel around here."
Miracle's violet eyes went up from the card and back to Jaden and Honest.
"Honest is more than welcomed to stay."

Honest gave her a small nod. ”I will try not to let you regret that decision.” he said before disappearing once more. Jaden looked sad for a moment before brightening again. Sure they were parting, but they were bound to meet again. That much he knew for sure. ”Take good care of him okay. Hes a friend of mine. Just like all the other pals in my deck.” he said pausing before getting to the matter of things. ”So you’ve been here a while right Miracle? Is there anything you can tell me about well anything?” he asked. Normally Jaden wasn’t much one for listening to a lot of information, but then again he knew things back at school. This time things were entirely different.

"Don't worry. He's in safe hands."
Miracle carefully tucked the card away in the pocket of her robes before looking back over to Jaden.
"I've been here all my life. This city didn't always use to be in the Crystal Expanse. It was originally located just outside it between the desert region and the small mountain town of Moon Valley. But because of the tragic day where the Arashi came and destroyed the land we were forced to relocate here and a new name was only suiting for a new beginning."

Jaden gave her a smile and a nod as acknowledgement. She was glad she would take care of it. Jaden blinked at the mention of more cities. He was just starting to slow his interest because he had no idea where any of those places were. Then she mentioned what happened. ”The Arashi?” he asked seeming to think. Could that be anything like what they had in their realm? ”And what are they? Some sorta group of bad guys?” he asked taking a look down to his deck. Should they be getting involved with whats happening here? He turned his eyes back to her his interest recaptured by this. At the very least this was all new information to him. Things he should probably know.
