Oh. Truth be told I don't pay much attention to the cbox. Half the time I forget it's even there. My reasons for ruling Maricul out are due to minor details that most probably wouldn't think twice about. During the "audience with the queen" thread where Genius took them outside time and space she mentioned several books that recorded an individual's life from beginning to end and that there was some missing. Mainly Amoura, the Arashi, Ranko and someone named Kel. When I asked about Kel I was told he was a human turned paradox when he broke his tides to fate, similar to Maricul. However Maricul's book was still available. Then during Backlash when Maricul changed the world around Veran she sat down on her throne in Utopia first and, from my understanding, slid her hands into the arm bars of it like some weird science fiction flick before the action was performed. The tower has been said to have control over existence so I ask, where is Utopia currently situated at this time? Ayen's latest post in "come, my people" further supports my theory. There is more to Maricul's current situation than meets the eye and if she's being suspected as The End due to her ascension then what I noted rules her out as it becomes more and more apparent that the source of her power comes from the tower itself.

Or someone could have just taken the books prior to their visit.

As Veran already knows, I've been slowly putting together the pieces of this puzzle. I've figured out what I like to think is a great deal on the Arashi, and am open for all sorts of conversations or questions on them. The current thing on my mind right now is who shall become the End? I've my own theories and reasoning, and am interested in what you all think. k shoot.

In case you guys haven't seen it yet you may want to click here as it translate Aper's foreign dialog to English. Just disregard the ending bit where Aper comes to life and talks to Olivia directly as Ayen said he opt not to go through with that.

Mostly I meant I was interested in who people thought the End was going to be and why, lol.
Well, after spending pretty much all day reviewing threads, examining the prophecies and chatting with people, I settled on a few conclusions. Mind you, all are liable to change, so don't be surprised if I have a different opinion tomorrow once I've had time to sleep.
Initially I suspected that it would be one of four people. Miracle, Maricul, Amoura or Zira. Miracle because she's taken a much larger role into things, and several parts of the prophecy I found could refer to what was currently happening. "A child will cradle the seed of destruction in his breast as the heart of man falls under shadows." This part made me think of the Self Reflection thread that in turn became the current war between Utopia's defenders and Miracles army. "The righteous shall fall upon the wicked and lay siege to the very gates of the house of the creator." This could also pertain to the war, as Miracle's righteous army fell upon the "wicked" who opposed Yaweh's decree that the tower and refugees be destroyed. The final piece was "A female destroyer to create the last thing of all." This led me to believe that Miracle's new role as avenging zealot would lead to the creation of the End. However, the one part of the prophecy that states "Within the mass there is on who is the vessel, the harbinger, and if the arashi does not intervene, he shall send forth his terror into all the realms." This means that the End shall manifest from one of the people brought to Genesis by the tower, so Miracle is ruled out.
Next would have been Maricul. At first I ruled her out as a native to, but after the events of Aper's attack on Aircano, coupled with "The evil that was once vanquished shall rise anew," made me wonder. Given her transformation, she'd basically severed all ties that had claimed her as a native of Genesis and transcended them into something new. However, given recent events, it seems her power is drawn from the tower, so perhaps she isn't applicable, and as such, I've ruled her out.
Amoura is third. We've all thought that she might turn into the End. Great twist, spend the whole time fighting against it, to eventually become the enemy in turn. The evidence supporting this is actually pretty good as well. In Merging, Tajna states that she has a bond with the Arashi, and clearly she's the most connected to them, herself stating that she thought she might become the end. Of other note is that it seems Veran has never tried to actually kill her, despite facing off against her. Apers rather vague words are something to note as well, when first encountered and awoken by Amoura. "Answer Arashi!" The wording can be taken one of two ways really, "Answer the Arashi" with Aper referring to himself, or "Answer Arashi" as the title he gives to Amoura. Veran refuses to clarify this point for me. The final bit was the Shroud. No one knows what it actually does, or how it works. It led me to believe that with the great power it offered, it would come at a great price, perhaps by her becoming the final Arashi. Amoura is strongly in the lead for the End at this point.
Finally is Zira. The Herald as she is called, with her declaration of war against the Arashi as we may all remember. She's been fairly low key so far after the events of Crystal City, kinda just hanging around and twitching occasionally while she recovers. She became a candidate for the End in my opinion because of her closeness to the plot. The events of Doomsday Runs In the Family, Crystal City, and now her importance to both Maricul and Amoura. Tainted by the Arashi's power, but not killed from it, I've little other evidence to support her contention than a hunch at this point, but given more research after some sleep, I'm sure I can come up with something.
All in all, I lean mostly towards Zira, based on the fact that while I don't have much evidence supporting this theory as of yet, it seems to fit out of my choices. Amoura isn't likely to turn her character into the End as that's something to be expected. She's spent so long fighting against the Arashi and her connection to them, it seems almost inevitable that she becomes one. But Veran seems the one to like to throw us a curve ball, so I'm going with Zira.

All the signs are pointing to Amoura IMO and it makes sense from a story perceptive but knowing somewhat how these people operate it could be the fucking moon for all we know.

It's me. Spoilers; it's me. Veran is having trouble coming up with my big reveal so he's stalling for time with the first aspect.

I sometimes wonder if the point of all these wars is so no armies will be left to oppose The End.
