The Cosmos

In the beginning the cosmos were created by an omnipotent being known only as The Creator and with it, various alternate dimensions were made each one taking up a sector of the universe and being separated by a barrier so the balance of the cosmos would remain protected. All these things exist through the Life Force, a source of energy that allows all of creation to exist, like blood through the veins with The Creator constantly breathing life into it. The cosmos is ever expanding making room for brand new galaxies, planets and dimensions respectively. These barriers were shattered by a paradox which caused all the realms to start merging with each other and resulting in absolute chaos of the original grand design. Leading to The Third Aspect - Eos - to attempt to destroy all of existence so The Creator can begin anew declaring the current damage irreversable.

Planet: Genesis

Genesis is the third planet from the suns and the only planet named after its realm in the Grand Central Network. It is also the first planet ever created and given humanoid life. Apokolips, a planet ruled by Darkseid was swallowed hole by a dimensional rift in Moon Valley, was also part of the Grand Central Network. As most of the solar system has been unexplored it is unknown just what all exist alongside Genesis in the system.

During the Golden Age The Creator ruled over the land and its people for 10,000 years until the ushering in the Dawn of Man which creating a conflict called "The Trial of Fates" to decide the next ruler of the planet. At least one ruler would be decided for each of the planet's continent. One of the warriors to stand out would be a young man by the name of Jeho who led his armies into the territory that would later be called Jherrazad and forced his enemies into surrender. The Creator rewarded him by ascending him into godhood and becoming Lord Yahweh. At the conclusion of the Trial of Fates each continent was awarded their own primarily god with several minor gods claiming different regions and factions on each continent. This would set the standard for all Trial of Fates which would be repeated in all the other realms.

Jherra is located on the Eastern Hemisphere of Genesis and is one of the oldest continents to date. The climate changes entirely based on which part of the continent you are on from the warm Spring breeze of Moon Valley, to the near insufferable heat of Jherrazad and the desert during the day. Isafaro, Hallowton and Kari are three of the coldest cities on the continent.

The Trial of Fate saw Lord Yahweh appointed as the primary god of Jherra by the Creator but Lord Beelzebub contains a lot of influence in the desert region. The desert region also contains many followers of Veneficus, a magical coven of people who practice dark magic, who had to flock from Aircano to Jherrazad to escape religious oppression.

Isafaro

150 years ago an alien ship crash landed on Genesis just outside of Isafaro and was discovered by the natives there soon after. There were no survivors in the crash but the artifacts inside the ship was so advanced it pushed Isafaro's technology forward 200 years. Former Isafaro leader Alan Po wanted to share this technology with the rest of Genesis and usher in a new Golden Age but General Koma Iz Vulture had other plans. Vulture won followers over to his cause and overthrew Alan Po, taking over as leader of Isafaro and hoarding the technology for himself, including means that greatly decreased his physical aging by a large margin. But old followers of Alan Po would not be quiet. They stole some of the technology and established a city that would later become known as Kari.

General Vulture's army, the Crimson Vulture (named after himself), consists of foot soldiers, heavy troopers, mechs, tanks, fighter jets and various bio-weapons. The AI "The Red Queen" runs the majority of Isafaro and its military from her core and has eyes and ears throughout both the city and the world. The technology at their fingertip can rebuild massive amount of heavy damage done to their area in either a matter of hours, days or weeks varying on the degree of damage and what caused it. The damage left behind by the fight between Maricul (vampire witch) and Fukari (Half-Demon) only took eight hours to rebuild. The citizens of Isafaro are greatly oppressed; they are unable to practice religion, take tobacco, alcohol or other related substances or own weapons of any kind. A curfew is strongly enforced during all hours of the night and those caught out of their homes are thrown in jail. The area is in a state of civil war as The Resistance (led by Imai Katayo) battle against the Vulture Regime from Sector 4 (a sector liberated by the actions of The Spokesman of Insanity) in an attempt to win the nation's independence.

Jherrazad

Jherrazad was found in the desert by Ranko over five hundred years ago and evolved over the years with a mix of medieval and modern comforts, making it one of the most unique nations on Genesis. Upon her arrival she would find a clan devoted to the ways of Veneficus and agreed to let them stay while claiming the nation for herself. As the years passed, the citizens there begin to grow unhappy with her rule and rebelled against her, spiraling the city into a state of civil war with the Jherrazad Free Army battling against Ranko's forces for control of the city. After a terrible battle between two powerful entities the two armies were forced to sign a peace treaty and unite to rebuild their city. Ranko planned to use the tower called Downward Spiral as a means to keep her nation together but fell to a vampire named Chloe who took over the reign of Empress.

The reign of Chloe saw an Empress who were both apathetic and compassionate. Being responsible for the deaths of her citizens who tried to rebel against her but still managed to retain the good she had learned from her mentor Amoura. Chloe banded together her forces to take on The Netherrealm, a force led by their new queen Ranko who were brought to The Netherrealm upon her death at the hands of Chloe, but this time it was Chloe's turn to fall in battle. Being driven mad when attempts to use The Waking Nightmare (a power which brings your worst fears to life) backfired. The city was destroyed in the aftermath of the conflict and is now being rebuilt by what remains of the Empire now back in the leadership of its former Empress Ranko after The Netherrealm finally was defeated when their realm was destroyed.

Aircano

Aircano is the oldest city located in Jherra and the only nation to be built on top of the ruins of another. The area is made up of devoted followers of Lord Yahweh and the church is held in high regards. It is governed by a group of elders and a High Priest/Priestess who leads the nation and only answers to the elders and of course God himself. The army is made up of armored foot soldiers with holy enchanted armor, swords and shields and backed by priests and healers. A rarity among the city are knights who know how to both fight and use holy magic in combat and to heal others. The city has been tore down a total of three times (the first by Ranko five hundred years ago, the second by Aper one year ago and the third by Veran when the city was the Crystal City in Crystal Expanse. It was recently revived by Superwoman (the previous god of Jherra) and fell to one demon invasion.

After being denied entry into Kari, Ayanna stormed the holy city while it was under Netherrealm control and single-handedly defeated the armies there and took the city back. By annointing the remaining presence of Lord Yahweh with the power of The Second Aspect (the second sun) on the ground making the city a living deathtrap for any unholy being that dare set foot on its surface. It is currently home to Ayanna Kaktas and the reminaing Aircano survivors of the war with the Netherrealm.

Moon Valley

Moon Valley is a small settlement in Jherra surrounded by forest and mountain areas. Unbeknownst to the citizens of Moon Valley the gateway to a dimensional rift that leads to the Netherrealm lied beneath the city, the gateway itself can be found directly beneath the mayor's office. It was the leading mystical force that lures in supernatural forces such as zombies, vampires, werewolves, demons, witches and other forces of darkness.

Moon Valley possesses a small police and military force, the military consisting of men and women specialized in many different fields, making them a formidable force despite their small size. The city itself is ran by a mayor who is elected through special election every five years, although elections are rumored to be rigged, and is in charge of both the military and police force. Mayor Luca Valentine once ran Moon Valley but after her staged death the city elected Conservative Candidate Carari Grey to fulfill the role of mayor. After she was cast out the city was left without leadership when the Netherrealm attacked forcing its citizens to Jherrazad, to Kari and finally Hallowton to wait out the war. Now that The Netherrealm is destroyed Moon Valley residents return to their home and are holding a new election to decide their next leader and ensure that the mistakes of the past never happen again.

A popular hot spot in the city is the nightclub/bar called the Razor's Edge, which permits people 16+ entry but they must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

Kari

Awakened by fire after 48 years serving as a frozen wasteland, the nation that branched off of Isafaro led by Kain and the new AI White Queen has returned, in possession of the Downward Spiral, to continue their war against Isafaro and share its technology with the rest of the world. The very thing that General Vulture never wanted to see happen.

In size the city takes up most of the continent at the center and one would have to pass the city on foot whether they were coming from Jherrazad, Moon Valley, Hallowton or Isafaro to get anywhere. With a satellite in space they also have eyes everywhere and stand as the only city capable of matching Isafaro's technological might.

Hallowton

Hallowton is a Victorian-style settlement across the land from Isafaro and near Kari. Despite the Victorian lifestyle they live, the natives of Hallowton are greatly evolved to where they have surpassed human's violent nature, containing an evolved sense of understanding. As a people they favor intelligence over brawn and greatly frowns upon acts of violence from outsiders. Their vastly superior intellect and charisma enables them to influence inferior beings from such places as Isafaro and Jherrazad's natives from invading their lands and assists them in finding solutions to problems without ever needing to fight. Simple minded beings, like the vampires and demons that has been attacking them in recent days, appear to be immune to their influence.

Eventually Isafaro would attack the city and bring it on the brink of destruction until Arix, and a combined defense were successful in pushing the army back. With the Queen's death Princess Lori ascended the throne, making her the youngest queen in history at age 16. In light of the attack the once proud people who surpassed their supposed nature started to revert back into what made the human race so ugly in the first place. The nation is now divided by the rich and the poor, with the rich like Harker living it out and the poor stealing and doing whatever they can to survive. Hallowton's primary defense comes in the form of Hellsing, the Judgement Corps and Constantine Harker's technology. With the efforts of Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Mr. Harker the city has began to evolve from late 19th Century to the 20th Century and continue to grow everyday. It is also in a state of civil war as Adelina and Bane recruit the poor and desperate in their efforts to steal the throne out from under Lori. Currently the city is battling a supernatural plague of unknown origin that threatens to kill everyone set loose by a mad Sebastian Michaelis. The only one that knows who set it loose is Integra Hellsing herself.

The Downward Spiral

The Downward Spiral is a tower which acts as a gateway to different realms. Upon the destruction of the universal barriers keeping the realms apart the tower came out of the ground and appears in every realm that is in existence. In Genesis it is located just north of the nation of Isafaro and is currently in the possession of Kari.

Inside the tower contains many secrets, ancient symbols belonging to languages that has long since been lost to human ears for centuries. When the supernova erupted in Genesis giving birth to the second sun the tower adsorbed most of it, saving Genesis but in exchange sent the supernova to various other realms destroying them in the process. Maricul attempted to use the tower to merge all the realms and bring about a new world order which she dubbed "Grand Utopia" but was stopped by Tajna Rasha, the only other persona side from Maricul who knows how to control the tower.

Utopia

Utopia was created by Maricul/Luca Valentine from the remnants of destroyed worlds and acted as a mirror word toGenesis, hidden from within the Downward Spiral itself. True to its name Utopia was a beautiful paradise ruled by Maricul where all were welcomed, but those who threatened the continuation of the land was dealt with severely either by Maricul herself or one of her many agents.

Utopia primary goal was to merge all the worlds together under one banner, the belief that peace can be archived once The Creator is forsaken and the many realms are done away with after the merge. None of the nation's citizens were real natives of the world, unless created by Maricul first-hand, and all hail from a realm that was no longer in existence. After Amoura put on the Shroud of Turin (the mask of The End) and became The Third Aspect, the entire realm was glassed and what remained of the realm now lies at the bottom of the ocean where Maricul remains sitting on her throne in defiance.

The Netherrealm

The Netherrealm was the underworld of Genesis and under the command of Ranko. It history dated back 20,000 years with Lord Saturn and Quan Chi recorded as its previous rulers to Queen Ranko. It was the source of the demon army's power that invaded Genesis and took in any soul dark enough to be brought to its fortress. A Kari party consisting of Gabrielle, Sincara, Zora C. Manson, Demetrios and Doctor Fate went into the realm and succeeded in destroying the realm. The result of which saw 20,000 years worth of captured souls escape into Genesis now freed from The Netherrealm but with no afterlife to call their own remain in Genesis as haunting spirits.

Outside Time and Space

Outside time and space is the home of The Creator, an area which is only given form to those The Creator finds worthy of seeing it with their own two eyes. While only making rare appearances The Creator's presence is at its strongest here than it is in the entire universe. The laws of time and space no longer apply once a person has crossed the threshold into this place and to fellow natives of their realms they could go in and out within seconds. This area is also home to a library which carries everyone's entire existence from birth to death in the form of books.

The Creator made its first appearance when it summoned Superwoman to this area to give her the gift of godhood. The Creator was seen as a large ball of sky blue energy that is capable of destroying almost anyone who looks at it with only a few exceptions. Superwoman was spared destruction through the tears that filled her eyes upon being in the present of something so beautiful. While its appearance can cause death hearing its voice has been shown to be harmless and The Creator speaks in the third person addressing itself by name or "It." The Creator had only shown itself to those it found worthy of receiving godhood.

Elim

Elim is a vast continent with a large uncharted area yet to be explored by its own inhabitants. The majority of the population are elves, dwarves and various mystical creatures leaving mankind as the minority unlike on Jherra. In contrast to Jherra which was ran by one god, Elim is ran by a council of gods which stay to their own terrorties on the continent and only meeting for matters that are bigger than their individual sectors. It is located north of the much smaller Jherra continent.

Elysios

Elysios is surrounded by mountains, led by the God of Light Phalis the city shares many things in common with the Greek/Romans with the palace looking like Mount Olympus itself. The people here, men and women alike, are loyal devoted followers of the God of Light, while fearing his immortal bride the "Death Witch" Hekate, and enjoy plenty of civic liberties as long as they continue to give praise to Phalis. The majority of the population are human but a couple of elves can be found in the city serving as servants to both civilians and people in the royal palace. The place is looked after by Phalis' royal guards and elite Black Knights who's armor are immune to even the hottest of flames. Many of the nation's people flock to the coliseum where they indulge in their violent nature watching others fight to the death for their own entertainment.

The Dead City

The Dead City is controlled by the Death God - formerly Mhoar Palu - currently Azrail - bordered by forest and contains the legion of the undead, Necromancers, bandits and thieves. The living and the dead separated by a single gate. For many years Mhoar Palu has kept his plague contained to the Dead City through the alliances that were forged but Azrail, caring little about these alliances, march through the gates and began unleashing his undead armies into the living part of the city.

Ignis

The volcano regions of Elim are overseen by the Goddess of Fire, represented by the Ignis cult led by their High Empress. The Fire Goddess is the only god among the four council members who had yet to show themselves to man and instead work through their agents. The area is made up of various fire creatures and contains lava that moves as if having a life of its own, creating monsters made entirely out of its surface. There is a temple to the goddess to the northeast of the volcanoes where sacrifices of the Goddess are performed and Ignis is also the known home of a large red dragon by the named of Shooting Star.

Essancee

Next to Ignis is Essancee, an elf village ran by Lady Elandriel made of forest from the ground to the houses themselves. Humans are forbidden from entering the city and the young are forbidden from leaving the city until they reach adult hood. In addition to being governed by Lady Elandriel and the elven clans. The elves have conquered their emotions and act solely on logic and reasoning which makes them a natural contrast to human impulses. It was attacked by the Sith Empire and reduced to a barren wasteland, most of its population were killed in the attack with only a few survivors making it out with the help of the Republic of Xanarnis. It was recently restored when its elf goddess returned from her slumber.

The Republic of Xanarnis

Across the valley of Eastern Elim lies a large city surrounded by four stone walls in the shape of a square that makes up the city's border. A single guarded entrance south of the city with two secret back exits north of the city behind City Hall that leads to an underground tunnel dug over fifty years ago as a means of escape if the city ever came under siege and fell. The Republic of Xanarnis west side makes up the suburbs where most of the citizens live and the east which makes up the business district where most people shop and where the school, hospital, police station and fire department are located. Up north is City Hall where the President and lawmakers reside to debate over public issue and to the left and right of it are the main military bases. South of the city has more boots on the ground with a checkpoint by the gate keeping tabs on the people who come in and out. At the heart of the city is a fountain where many of the city's children can be found playing.

One hundred and fifty years ago a group of people denounced the God of Light and departed Elysios in search for virgin lands to call their own. They found a vast and beautiful valley to the east and settled in. There they begin building their new home finally freed from the gods and religious persecution. They were freed from kings, queens and emperors. On that day the Republic of Xanarnis was formed and appointed their first President and nation's leaders to govern their land and every four years they would hold an election not allowing any man or woman to hold office for more than eight years. As far as the rest of Elim was concerned they were ahead of their time as they introduced the concept of Democracy.

One hundred and fifty years later there were two suns in the sky. One hundred and fifty years later the people of Xanarnis was forced to adapt to there being twice as much hours in the day than there were before. People from many different kinds of worlds started appearing in their lands posing a national security risk and weapons of unknown origins appeared just beyond the wall being found by members of the Xanarnis' military. This technology allowed the city to start advancing in ways the other nations in Elim has yet to acquire. They started to make new kinds of medicine to cure diseases. Creating a new line of weapons and vehicles that were only ever talk about in Jherra. Under the leadership of recently appointed Madam President Ashley the nation enters a new age of technology that they never thought possible until such feats started to magically appear in their world and they welcomed it with opened arms.

The Island Prison of Zorteth

Spoken of in the most hushed and fearful whispers on the mainland, the gargantuan island of Zorteth lies a mere twenty miles off Elim’s northeast coast. Bitterly cold and enshrouded in a perpetual veil of fog, this gigantic island is actually a hollow sphere of rock, half-sunken into the ocean and firmly anchored to the sea floor. A single narrow strait serves as the only entrance by sea, leading into a looping canal with a harbor at its far end. The sphere’s inner walls are populated with shelves and stalactites of rock, hollowed out and interconnected to form a complex of buildings many times the size of any of Genesis’ largest cities. This unnatural island serves one purpose – a prison for those Elimites or foreign Genesians who are so depraved, so violent, and so destructive that their gods have no choice but to segregate them in a place that will become their tomb.

Zorteth has existed almost since the Creator instated the current gods of Elim. When they saw a need for a prison to house their most beastly criminals, those who had committed unforgivable horrors and blasphemies, they convened to create the imposing island of Zorteth off the coast of the continent. They then selected five of their most faithful and dependable subjects, elevated them to demi-godhood and tasked them with the governance of this prison. At first, they retained their perfectly human appearances, but the corruptive influence of Mhaor Palu’s entropic power has shaped them into fiendish monsters with the passing of millennia.

Each of the five fulfills a specific role in the iron-fisted rule of the Zorteth prison. They are Narav, the Harbinger, who commands the prison’s massive transport ferry and watches over the entry strait; Dalgar, the Detainer, who keeps order from the shadows with her legion of wardens; Kirix, the Tormentor, master of the vast complex’s torture chambers; Goltur, the Headsman, who oversees the swift and brutal punishment of disobedience; and Ril’zhel, the Sentinel, collaborating with Narav and Dalgar as the first line of defense against intrusion and assault from without.

Ekaris

Ekaris is a port city north of Xanarnis, set up by a human colony founded by travelers from Jherra who wanted to provide safe passage to the unexplored continent without intervention from the elves. It is the start platform for any human traveler looking to get a foothold onto the continent with plenty of shops for weapons, equipment, horses to ride and even magical artifacts. It is also a place of shelter for the humans in the area as the people of Xanarnis flocked there while under attack from Elysios.
