She stopped at the foot of the huge gate and waited, not entirely sure whether she should just go in or not. It had been some time since she had last been to Hallowton and she didn't know any of the people here. Except for Sparda naturally, but she didn't really know if he would be here or not to speak with. And that little fact put her a bit on edge.
She adjusted the cloth around her mouth to sit straighter when it occured to her that it might be a good idea to take it off. Not only for respect sake, but also for identification purposes if need be. But even with that notion it might not be the best option. While she was now used to her demonic side, her vampiric side was a much different matter. Those genes had apparently had taken over more than their far share, leaving the demonic genes A tough too few to balance her out completely. Smells got to her still and seemed to enjoy triggering dormant instincts. Though she had good self-control, she would rather not chance a mistake... Especially not here.
But nevertheless she needed- wanted to use her time wisely. And asking to assist the Queen would be the best choice at the moment. Going about killing demons on her own was constructive, but if she didn't know what was going on in the inside, how could she put her abilities to the best use. Besides, now that she was more stable with herself, why not help in anyway she could? At least, if they would take her.
And that is what brought the hybrid to the new castle. She just hoped that she would be welcomed and not the alternative.

Sazan had been inside the new castle working all hours of the day and night to get everything up to the speed it was in the previous castle now made rubble by the rebellion. It was a good thing vampires, even hybrids, didn't need to sleep or this would have caused a serious problem combined with the Queen's illness. Even though the worse of the plague had passed there were still those suffering some rather cruel side effects.
Fortunately for Melany Sazan was on her way to the gate from the other side around the same time the guards noticed her. Before they could ask their questions, Sazan snapped her fingers to get their attention and they opened the gate to allow Sazan on through to the other side.
“Melany I presume?”

The hybrid blinked a few times as her name slipped from Sazan's lips. She knew who she was?
"I am."
She gave a low bow in greeting as the woman approached.
"However, I am afraid I do not know who you are so it would seem I am at a bit of a disadvantage."
Though her smile couldn't be seen under the cloth, it reached her eyes. More than that, she was revealed to find that although the dampened cloth only partially blocked out Sazan's scent, it was not triggering her senses at all- thankfully. Melany made a mental note to go to the manor soon to get more serum.

“Sazan. Grand Duchess of Hallowton. I heard about you from Sparda. If you're here to talk to him I'm afraid he isn't here.”
Sazan did her best to conceal the bitterness in her voice whenever she spoke Sparda's name. Ever since he took her to Isafaro after the incident with Scarecrow she hasn't looked at the man the same ever since.

Saephara simply against the wall just to the inside of the gate, her ears picking up on what the two females were speaking of. With her arms crossed, her head nodded forward as if falling asleep, her loosened black hair falling forward to spill in front of her. It hadn't been long since the visit with the Queen and Sae has decided to stick with Sazan for a bit. Of course she would go to stay with Tony for a few days at a time, but during the last few days she had been the Duchess' shadow. Sae had much to learn from this woman...she could feel it within her. Her hand absentmindedly came up to play with the precious bullet pendant resting on her chest. Back and forth the treasure went between her fingers. Time seemed to slow as the repetition continued. It seemed like several minutes had passed... A pebble kicked was what brought Sae back. The energy that she had been flaring unintentionally died off immediately and she cursed silently. So if she focused on something...if she could direct that energy into the spells in those books...
Raven wings flared out to stretch before resting against Sae's back again. Today she had opted for a more casual look, letting her hair fall loose to her ankles. A low backed gray tank top lay across her torso as a loose pair of black baggy cargo pants dressed her legs. Her feet? A simple pair of black steel toed combat boots. To finish the look? A simple cute red beret that was off set. With her demeanor, nobody would have guessed that she was dangerous. After all, she was a 'pretty little thing with wings.' Sae laughed out loud suddenly, catching a few of the guards' attention. She would always remember that phrase.
Sighing finally, Sae pushed forward and peered around the corner at Sazan and the newcomer. She seemed...odd. As she stared at her, Sae's darker senses flared to reach out to the new woman, trying to feel her out and figure out what she was. Purple bled into her blue irises as she called to Sazan, "Are we bringing her in, Duchess?"

“Sazan. Grand Duchess of Hallowton. I heard about you from Sparda. If you're here to talk to him I'm afraid he isn't here.”
Melany bowed politely to Sazan. And gave a head nod of acknowledgement to Saephara when she spoke.
"A pleasure. Actually, I am here to speak to most anyone in command about the possibility of lending my services. Would that be either of you by chance?"
As Saephara reached to the woman, it would not go unnoticed and Sae would be met with the vision of a pair of hollowed, yellow eyes staring back at her. But they were not from Melany, in fact they would appear deep within Saepara's own mind as a breathy whisper floated over the air.
