Summary:
Raised in medieval Romania by a rich family, he dresses in the finery of the day. He dresses in the silk pants and doublets, sometimes with the cloak. He wears the cloak should he be going out for awhile, where at home, he leaves it hanging on the post. More often than not, he wears the silks as it's what he's most comfortable in. In present day, he's mostly seen in a tuxedo, trying to blend in with the people on the streets. Normal clothing never really appealed to him, and he has too much of an ingrained air of poise and finesse to pull it off, so the tux was the only thing that fit him. People often comment on his style of clothing when they see him, calling him weird, or eccentric if he has his silks, though after over 800 years, he hasn't changed it at all.
Personality:
Likes:
1. Solitude
2. Reading
3. Observing
Dislikes:
1. Crowds
2. Arrogance
3. Evil
Flaws:
1. Chivalry
2. Submissiveness
3. Aristocracy
Summary:
He's always enjoyed his solitude, spending most of his life alone, enjoying the peace and quiet. He feels that the world has become to crowded, and that rare moments of peace are hard to find, and should be savoured if found. He always enjoys reading as well, his main hobby. He mostly reads informative books, learning about anything he can, being a voracious learner. It was another habit left over from childhood. He'll also spend his nights in a peaceful place, just observing people. He enjoys seeing the change in customs from when he was a child, to what they've become.
He's never liked crowds, they always seem to eliminate any chance of peace that he could want. They always generate too much noise, and the bustle of people jostling each other always bugged him, having been pick-pocketed once or twice. Arrogance has also bugged him since he was a child. People tend to have that officious and pompous air that they know so much more, and are so much better than him, that he generally begins to lose his temper quickly. He's never put one person above another for their upbringing, or education, only seeing people placed by their actions, not merit. In following with that, evil has become another in the list of items that bother him. Evil in any form seems to oppress or hinder people, and he believes that people should be free to flourish on their own, without a forced influence.
As explained above, his chivalry has gotten him into many problems. He has had many close encounters with the sun due to wanting to stop and help people, and 800 years haven't stopped him from doing it. He's always been to nice for his own good. He's also always been submissive to others requests, never really asserting himself, unless they go against his morals and principles. He can't help but let people assert their own decisions, it was another child hood habit. His final flaw is his aristocracy. As an old Romanian aristocrat, he's easily noticeable on the streets. As such, he's been marked by many thieves, muggers and robbers, though they all failed miserably. He never understood why they seemed to target him though, being slightly naive to it.
Special Abilities:
Pyro/Aero Kinesis:
He's inherited two abilities, control of flames from his father, and control of winds from his mother. The two powers complement each other, and with them, he can make both stronger.
Telepathy:
The power to speak to others using thought-speak. Simply put, Alucard speaks to others without using verbal communication, he sends someone a mental thought as to what he wants to say and they can hear his voice inside their head.
Heightend Senses:
Alucard's senses are hundreds of times more powerful than a human. As one could imagine this comes in very hand when in battle and reacting to and or searching for danger or a possible target. However, at the same time they can prove to be a down fall. Alucard can manipulate the degree of how powerful his senses are at any given time. If it's really bright outside he can dull his sense of sight. If something is very loud, he can dull his sense of hearing. If he's searching for a trail of blood he can increase his sense of smell to find it.
Super Strength:
Alucard's normal form is large, but it's geared more towards speed and agility than strength it seems. His muscles are lean and flexible. For someone of his stature one would think he wouldn't be able to lift something over 150 pounds. This is not true. Because he's part vampire, Alucard has incredible strength.
Super Speed/Agility:
Yes, Alucard's body is built physically for speed. But this speed is unnatural! Alucard can move so fast he turns into a mere blur, or picks up so much speed it?s impossible to see him when he moves! Now, we all know that if you have high speed, you're turning and spotting rate is greatly compromised, right? Not in Alucard's case. He can turn on a time, change directions before you can blink, and come to a dead stop in a flash! Normal human muscles and joints would not be able to withstand this stress for long because of physics. But Alucard is much lighter than he appears for his size, thus, lessening the stress on his body.
Immunity to Hell-Spawn Creature Weaknesses:
This includes silver, holy water, blessed objects, garlic, and sunlight.
A normal full blood vampire can withstand sunlight, but only weaker light. The setting sun, cloudy-over cast days, very early morning sun causes them no problems. But bright, mid-day noon sun will burn their fair skin. And it's not just bad sunburn either; it's a 3rd degree burn! If a vampire must venture out in direct sun, they often try to cover all exposed skin and will put on large amounts of sunscreen as an extra precaution. It's also vital they put on sunglasses or the bright light will blind them.
At 800, the sun hasn't been a problem for Alucard for many years, then again, he's only a half vampire.
He's just as vulnerable to it as a normal human is. His pale-fair skin will not tan very much if he's walking around without a shirt on at noon outside. Instead, it will turn sunburned, just like a human with fair skin. So if he somehow ended up walking around outside during the day with hardly anything on, he would be doing himself a great justice to put on sunscreen to keep his skin from burning!
Silver is known to be a deadly poison to most creatures of hell, especially fledglings and young full bloods. Much as with the sun, however being a half vampire means it's not as much of a detriment, and over the years, it no longer bothers him at all.
A blessed weapon is known to be another deadly poison to most, especially fledglings and young full bloods. However, as not a true creature of the night, blessed weapons are a minor nuisance to him. Mostly because he strives to be apart from the blood crazed denizens of the dark, so some paladin swinging a holy sword at him tends to irk him.
Holy water is known to prevent and slow the healing of a hell-spawns' wound. It's also known to burn their skin when it's poured on them. It's about the same thing as the sun. A hell-spawn would receive a third-degree burn if the Holy Water touched their skin. Once more, Alucard is immune to this. He's had Holy water dumped on him in the past, and it has done nothing beside piss him off because now he's soaking wet! He can even drink Holy water and the only thing it does to him is give him a 'high' feeling or makes him feel woozy or drunk like.
Garlic has a strong scent on its own. Even humans shy away from it! Imagine what you would think of garlic if your sense of smell was 10,000 times that of a bloodhound's! The scent of garlic is too over powering for most hell-spawn and it often disorients them and gives them a rather bad head ache. If they were to eat it, it would most likely make them throw up or give them a very bad case of indigestion.
As for Alucard, he hates the smell but it doesn't bother him or give him a head ache. He's never eaten it of his own free will before. As for what it would do to her if he did eat it? Just make him feel a bit lousy. Though if he ate a lot of it he's most likely end up puking, which is just as nasty as the garlic itself to a hell-spawn. He wouldn't be too happy about that to say the least! Not only is it gross, but embarrassing as hell!
Weapons:

A silver rapier handed down to him by his mother, Alucard has kept on him at all times, carefully maintaining and treating the blade to withstand the tests of time. Not particularly powerful on its own, the blade seems an ordinary, if extremely well made and serviceable blade.

Childhood: Raised as the scion of his house, he was meant to embody what aristocracy was for his family. He was raised studying the local aristocracy and their roots, history, to better understand current conflicts, what caused them, and what they could cause, and fighting as a personal hobby. He spent half of his days with the fighting tutor, and the other half divided between his other tutors, with a little more time dedicated to history and aristocracy. He never spent weekends playing or hanging out with friends, he chose to spend the time studying instead.

History:
Born Adrian Farenheights Tepes, he quickly took to the name, Alucard. It was a far more unique name, for someone such as him, and his father encouraged it as long as he remained in his good favour. From a small age, he was raised in the aristocratic manor of the day, and to do justice to his house. As the scion, and sole heir, his father invested much time into grooming him to represent the house when he came of age, and his mother coddled him. He was raised by night by the private tutors his father hired on, explaining to them that they had a rare disease that could kill them if exposed to the sun. His mother was aware of his father being a vampire, yet loved him despite this. No one else in the surrounding area knew of his and his father?s uniqueness. He preformed exceedingly well in his day to day, or night to night, studies, and his father was immensely pleased. As a reward, he was offered the chance to study any one subject of his choice. He chose fighting, deciding that it would be an interesting pastime, and potentially useful at some point in his life. He quickly showed an amazing ability and talent for fighting, and all the tutors his father brought in to keep up with him were exceedingly impressed.
First thing when he?d wake up, he?d begin his daily studies within the hour, giving him some free-time, which he mostly spent in his father?s massive library. He could often be found browsing through tomes bigger than he was, and developed something of a friendship with his father?s personal librarian. He was one of the few people that treated him as a person, not an aristocratic child. This always brought Alucard to him for advice, and just general conversation. Once a week however, his ?mornings? would start with one of his father?s parties that he held for the local nobility, from which he would show his son as a prized possession, and he?d be forced to endure many petty lords trying to convince him to convince his father to have him marry their daughter. He?d escape the parties as quick as he could, and his father?s hungry stares at the beautiful young women present. His mother would often sit and talk with him, understanding why he never enjoyed these parties. Though she loved his father, and he her, she didn?t approve of showcasing him. She was always exceedingly kind with him, and amazingly lenient with him, whereas his father was strict and demanding.
When he was fifteen however, tragedy struck his family. He and his father had been sleeping at their manor, and his mother had gone into the village to shop for some personal items, when she was apprehended by villagers. With cries of witch, and demoness, she was tied to a steak at twilight, ready to be burned. News raced back to the manor, and Alucard overheard it as he awoke. He told the servants to fetch his father, and took off at once for the village, moving faster than even he thought possible. He arrived in time to see the torch put to the flames. He forced his way to the front, crying ?Mother!? as he went. She looked at him, and only he could hear her last, ?Do not hate humans. If you cannot live with them, at least do them no harm, for theirs is already a hard lot. And tell your father, I shall love him, for all eternity.? She perished soon after, and Alucard fled to his home, blinded by tears. When his father learned of what had happened, he descended into the village under the cover of night, in a terrible rage. He slaughtered the people who had done this, and returned to his manor, anger and grief fighting for dominance. Hearing of what had happened, Alucard gathered his things, and fled into the night, leaving his home far behind him.
As he roamed, he kept his ears open for word of what had happened with his father. Shortly after the massacre in the village, he retreated into a castle he?d had constructed for his wife and he to live in, Castlevania. He began to spend a majority of his time avoiding the powerful Belmont clan of vampire hunters. Eventually, he heard his father had turned to evil, and began terrorizing any village within range, stealing and feasting from children. No one knew that it was he, and he continued to hold his parties, selecting his next victims there. Eventually, Alucard began to contemplate returning to his father?s estate, and putting an end to his terrorism, once and for all. He returned there, and formed an unexpected alliance with a member of the Belmont clan. He proved to him that he meant no harm, and only wanted to end his father?s reign. He never revealed his heritage, but helped to defeat his father. His father disappeared before he could be finished, and Alucard and Trevor Belmont went their separate ways, and Alucards name was written down into the Belmont clan?s history. Alucard himself went into a deep slumber, hidden away, sealing his dark power from the world.
Centuries later, his father resurfaced, and resumed his reign, thinking the Belmonts no longer a threat, and Alucard dead. He returned to Castlevania once more, more powerful than ever before. The Belmonts had long since fallen into decadence, and were almost never heard of anymore. The most recent member of the Belmont family, Richter, was lured away to Castlevania one dark foggy night, and wasn?t heard from for a long time. Alucard himself felt the stirrings of evil at work once more in his homeland, and awoke from his slumber, ready to combat his father once again. He returned to Castlevania, fighting many of his fathers vampiric servants as he went, rescuing Richter Belmont from his father?s clutches, and confronts his father once more. This time, Alucard struck the killing blow, delivering Lisa?s last words to his father, bidding him farewell, and sending him to oblivion, or so he thought. He exited the castle, meeting Richter and his friend Maria outside. They both asked where he would go, they were both Belmonts and he was something of a legend to them, but he denied them an answer, turning and disappearing into the night once more.
He began to pass the centuries observing the Belmont clan, helping them secretly when he thought them needing it. He wandered the world, expanding his knowledge, honing his skills, his mother?s words close to heart. He roamed far and wide, never staying long in any one place. After his father?s demise however, he did take control of the family fortunes and estate, returning once and awhile to rest, and reminisce. Before he knew it, the millennia had passed, and technology had advanced, far beyond what he had been born to. He retained control of his family estates and fortune, He recently resumed wandering, taking in the new era, the countries, the language and technology. He was as fascinated by it now, as he was as a child. He always remained in the background however, stopping to help where needed, though no one ever knew he was involved.
Whilst travelling one day on a leisure trip however, he came across what seemed to be a recently unearthed ruin. A massive tower stood in the ground, reaching into the very depths of the earth. More than a little intrigued by this sudden discovery, Alucard decided to venture forth and determine what he could about the strange relic. Once inside however, he quickly realized the folly of his actions. He ended up trapped within the strange tower for days, wandering about lost, seeking an exit that he knew must not be far off, but could never find. Eventually however, he was flung from the tower as he stumbled wearily through the halls. Presumably he?d fallen through a window or mayhaps even found the door. All that mattered to him was that he was free at last. When he raised his head however, what he found wasn?t what he?d expected. Instead of the snow capped peaks of his mountainous home, he instead found a strange and wild new land, and a new adventure had begun for him.
