Name: Tyrion Taralom
Aliases: Eru (The One or He That Is Alone)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Species: Chaos Elf
Alignment: Good
Canon or Original: Original
Date of Birth: 21st of December
Place of Birth: Agarwaen on the Plane of Dominaria
Physical Appearance:
Tyrion dresses constantly in armour and cloak, the cowl covering his head almost always. His armour is a full suit of leather, light and flexible allowing him to maintain his dexterity and mobility. A crimson cowl covers his head, from his like coloured eyes can occasionally be seen in the depths, peering at out the faces around him. The armour is well cared for, silent no matter which way he moves, and fortified by etched runes and spells on it. The armour has the defense of adamantium while weighing next to nothing. He wears a belt and bandoleer lined with pouches of holding, each one holding a small dimensional pocket for extra storage capacity at no added weight to him.
Beneath the armour is a true elven prince. Tyrion stands at six feet and three inches tall, with soft crimson hair flowing down to his shoulders when uncovered. His eyes are a dark red hue, tainted by the demonic blood in his veins. His body is slim and athletic however, more suited to dexterity and agility rather than brute strength. He bears flowing and arcane sigils across his skin as the most distinctive markers. Most prominently on the backs of his hands and palms, the rest being akin to celtic knot work that weaves its way across his body. He also has the ability to take on demonic features, tapping into the power latent in his blood. When he does so, his eyes glow with a crimson aura, his fingers become like talons and small horns sprout from his head.
Special Abilities:
Demonic Form- Due to the tainted blood in him, he has the ability to take on a demonic form. In addition to the physical changes, his strength and speed are bolstered, as are his stamina and physical endurance. They also give him additional abilities while in this form.
Magic- After training with the band of Chaos Elves, he gained the ability to wield aether magic. Most commonly employed to break spells and the like, they also allow him to do a variety of other things like teleport, guard himself, scry and divine and affect the world around him.
Demon Sense- Due to his training and blood, Tyrion has the ability to sense the presence of demons around him, accurate enough to pinpoint an exact demon in disguise in a crowd, rather than just a general location.
Hellfire- With his demon blood, he can create and control hellfire. It burns hotter and longer than normal fire, and is much harder to put out.
Rune Sigils- Inscribed on his skin are flowing sigils of an arcane nature. They act as defenses against demonic energy and corruption. The two on the backs of his hands act as a barrier he can erect to ward most any blow, the ones on his palms allow him to deflect demonic energy, and fire off his own. They also serve as the focal point for the Chains of Ragnarok.
Chains of Ragnarok- A powerful binding spell he developed on his own. When used, chains lash out of his palms that sink into the flesh of his opponent, binding them together. From there, he can draw lesser demonic souls into his own body where they are absorbed, enhancing his own strength, or he can send his soul through to the demons body, fighting them from the inside. They also act as a null device, nullifying and grounding any energy the demon brings to bear.
Electrokinesis- The ability to control lightning. A proficient user, he uses lightning to enhance his fighting at both range and melee, resorting to firing small lightning bolts when out of ammo.
Alchemy- The ability to create potions. He carries a supply of alchemical ingredients with him to create healing potions, potions of resist corruption and so on.
Hostile Mind- His mind is not a happy place. Driven by hatred and anger, tempered and barely constrained by discipline, his mind has proven hostile, and quite often fatal, to any who enter it. With a wall of rage, most are denied access to his mind, but should any find their way in, they find themselves battling for their lives and sanity in his own dominion. Those that escape usually are less than whole, losing something of themselves in the process. Many times the last thing a demon has seen before it's death, is it's own image in his mind.
Weapons:
Aranruth (Kings Ire)- The twin blades he bears at his hips. Twin scimitars forged for Tyrion to use in his quest to reclaim his homeland and in his drive for vengeance against the Tarosians. Wrought of Cold Steel, a bane to demons on his world, the scimitars are also powerfully enchanted. The are heavily infused with holy might, a bane to demons everywhere, and have various other abilities that aid him in battle. Constantly sharp and unbreakable, these blade have never failed him.
Aequitas (Justice)- Custom crafted twin hand crossbows with a clip style ammo system, and a reloading mechanism created by aritificers to cut back on the time between each shot. With a variety of ammunition for his crossbows, they've become a weapon of choice for the demon hunter. Quirrels with blessed silver tips that collapse upon impact expunge holy water over his targets, another one spews alchemist fire, setting his opponents ablaze, and a third is an explosive bolt, driving his enemies back. The weapons themselves are enchanted for greater accuracy to avoid missing his target, and strike with more force than a normal hand crossbow would. (Basically the medieval equivalent of a forty five.)
History:
Born the sixth child to Maeglin and Elbereth Taralom, the royal family of what is now known as Agarwaen, which means blood stained in their native tongue. The lands were renamed after the Tarosians invaded and slaughtered his people, enslaving any that remained. His siblings were murdered in cold blood, as was his father. His mother was captured for the demons amusement, and he was born as a result. Taken in by Taura, the Mistress of Taros, he was raised in servitude in her home. Each day she would torture him by showing him the visions of demons slaughtering his family and his people, the streets running red with their blood. She tortured him with the knowledge that he was an abomination, a Chaos Elf, born with a mixture of Elven and Demonic blood. Each day she took great pleasure in demeaning him, bowing him, but never being able to break him. Hatred ran hot in his veins, and kept him strong and warm. He honed it like fine immaterial blades, waiting for the day to exact his revenge.
At the age of ten, he managed to escape in the confusion of war when Taura went to war against the paladin order of Zakarum, seizing his chance quickly. He fled Taros, hiding with his imprisoned people, who sent him north to learn what he could of his people. Before he could ever reach his goal, he encountered a group of elves like himself. With crimson eyes and hair, he knew they were one and the same. They revealed that they were the Chaos Elves, created by the unholy union of demons and elves. Originally created by Nicodemus Archleon, the Necromancer King, they had gained their freedom and banded together, wandering as nomads. They were powerful spell breakers and demon hunters, and they taught their ways to Tyrion. For ten long years he wandered with the band of elves that had taken him in, learning all he could about his enemies, gaining power as best he could. His relentless hatred and insatiable desire for revenge drove him harder than the rest.
They had all come to accept their fate, outcasts and shunned by people, but he refused to give in. He gathered his rage and hatred about him like a cloak and set forth from their band, given his armour and weapons as gifts that would help him in his quest. For three years he travelled alone, further increasing his power and skills, gathering all knowledge he could and becoming stronger for his trials. He gathered items of power to him, before his travels ended one day and he stepped from one world to another. He had been travelling on the road and had made camp for the night, when in the morning he woke in a new world, the world of Genesis. Now he wanders again, hunting down demons as best he can, gathering as much strength as possible while searching for a way home.
