History:
Vincent and his three siblings were born to two drunks. They always abused and yelled at each other and the kids. Vincent being the oldest always felt like he should protect the other three which he always did, but was always beaten because of it. One Saturday night five thieves broke into his house and held him kidnapped as the robbers told the other three to get everything and put it in plastic bags and bring it to them, or else they were going to shoot Vincent. Another catch, they had one hour. At 59 minutes they had bagged everything and brought it to the robbers. The thieves then loaded their truck and then shot Vincent's three siblings and left him alive.
When his parents got home they beat him for letting this happen, being robbed, not letting his siblings die. He wanted to run away so badly that he did. He waited a month for his parents to get enough cash in the house, then he stole it all and ran from home heading to the other side of the country. He ran around the country until he was 17 he lied and he joined the military. He wanted to be able to protect others from harm, like he was unable to when he was a child. While flying to a different country the plane was shot down and his body was never found.
He woke up in what he guesses was the high schooler version of purgatory. He didn't remember a thing about his life when he awoke so he decided to just do school normally. He soon learned that he couldn't die, no matter what, but he couldn't move on unless he was successful on what he needed to do in his life. After what was about a month at the school he joined SSS, which was an organisation about defying God. Vincent, being an Atheist his whole life, thought it was a joke. He ended up getting his memory back and believed the group. He helped others try to move on, and by doing that moved on himself, but instead of waking up to a heaven, or being reborn, he awoke to the afterlife, which he thought was another purgatory, which in reality was just the hell under Genesis.
