Equipment: Batman has an massive arsenal of equipment. His main piece is his bat suit which is made of Kevlar, and a little of titanium. It is resistance to most attacks, explosions, and the gloves and boots cushion the blow for the user. His cape is very light weight, and will allow him to glide with it. His cowl has something called detective vision, which allows him to detected objects of interest, people, as well as detect things about people. His utility belt holds a variety of tools. They include plastic explosives, nerve toxins, an assortment of batarangs, smoke bombs, fingerprint kit, a cutting tool, a grappling hook, a kryptonite ring, and re-breather. His weapons include the batarangs, grapple gun, line launcher, a bat claw, a disrupter to firearms, mines, and Mr.Freeze technology. He owns multiple vehicles including the batmobile, batplane, batboat, and batcycle.
History: Bruce lived a lavish life with both of his parents until the age of 8. When he was 8, he went to the theater with his parents, and was scared of the act. He begged his parents to leave, and being loving parents, they did. However, as they were heading home, a petty thief mugged, and killed Bruce's parents. That night, he vowed to rid Gotham of all crime.
At the age of 14, he went around the world, training in various martial arts. He later returned to Gotham, and went around in plain clothes, trying to protect people. He was beaten by who he was trying to protect, and went back home, bloodied. "Criminals are a superstitious cowardly lot," Wayne remarks, "so my disguise must be able to strike terror into their hearts. I must be a creature of the night, black, terrible..." As if responding to his desires, a bat suddenly flies through the window, inspiring Bruce to take on the persona of Batman.
Batman has fought many foes as he battled his way through Gotham's underworld. He has learned how to cope with villains with superpowers,
like Clayface and Bane. It has been said that villains that do not fear Superman, still fear Batman.
