History:
1998 July – The Mansion
Wesker and Alpha team head toward the last known location of Bravo Team. They are instantly chased down by the mutation of the T-Virus in canines. Intentionally Wesker headed toward the Mansion where the secret Umbrella facility was located. Wesker had other intentions rather than rescuing the missing Bravo team. He was to steal Umbrellas data and pit STARS against the BOWs in the facility. The plan went well until one of the surviving members of Bravo team found him out and he was forced to kill him. This lead to the members of Alpha team catching on.
They foiled his original plan, however, he had injected himself with the Prototype Virus and allowed himself to be killed. His body would eventually re-animate into what he is today, he gained super strength, agility, regeneration, and all of the above at the cost of his humanity. When he attempted to gain the data he originally came for he found the Red Queen and Sergei had locked him out of the system. With only one option left he escaped the facility. Along the way he swept through every Tyrant and BOW that crossed his path with ease even incapacitating the near invincible Lisa Trevor eventually trapping her under a chandelier so she would die in the explosion of the mansion.
1998 December – Rockfort Island, Antarctic Base
Wesker and the HCF arrive to the island in full assault with the intent of retrieving the T-Veronica virus sample from the heavily mutated Alexia Ashford. In the conflict the t-Virus went rampant infected many in the facility. The entire island became contaminated in the attack and many of the BOWs became loose. However, Wesker and his men failed to find Alexia. Wesker followed the leads that pointed to the Antarctic Base where most of the employees fled to during the attack.
Upon arrival he found the entire base was infected by those who had fled there. Wesker was also reunited with his former subordinate, Chris Redfield. In the chaos Wesker once again failed to get a sample of the t-Veronica Virus due to Alexia being stronger than he was with her enhanced abilities in her mutated form. However, he did secure a sample from the corpse of Steve Burnside. During the last minutes of the bases life he engaged Chris in battle.
When the fight began it was clear who the victor would be as Wesker dominated Chris with his abilities. However, Chris fought back with everything he had only to be beat down and nearly killed until the base began self-destructing saving him when a pillar fell between the two causing Wesker to become burned but giving Chris a chance to escape.
2002 – Operation Javier
Four years later, in the year 2002 Wesker was later contacted by the leader of the South American drug cartel "Sacred Snakes", Javier Hidalgo. Apparently, a former researcher of Umbrella supplied Javier with the t-Virus in an attempt to save his wife, Hilda Hidalgo, with disastrous results. As his daughter, Manuela Hidalgo, had also contracted the same illness as her mother, he requested Wesker's help. Wesker supplied him with the Veronica virus in exchange for a large sum of money as well as a share in his dealings. He also gave him specific instructions to utilize the T-Veronica virus, mirroring the samples created by Alexia Ashford. He later saw the rest of the mutated carcass of Javier Hildago from afar with his binoculars.
2003 – Russia
Wesker infiltrated the Russian Umbrella Facility with the notion to steal data from Umbrella yet again. Wesker made his way through the facility effortlessly killing every BOW that he came across until he came across Sergei Vladimir once again. Wesker tells Sergei to step aside, however, Sergei orders his two Ivan bodyguards to kill Wesker. The battle took no more than a few seconds as Wesker tore the two BOWs apart with his bare hands and continued into the facility where he would come across Sergei yet again. Sergei infects himself with the t-Virus and mutates but Wesker kills him and takes the data from the Red Queen before shutting down the facility.
With the information he had, he used it to prove Umbrella had caused the Raccoon incident and many like it. They were shut down. He had all the information he needed to create his own Umbrella, their history and files at his fingertips. He would use this information to fuel Tricells own secret bioweapon division.
2004 – Los Illuminados
Wesker would establish his own private party and began recruiting agents such as Jack Krauser and Ada Wong into it. His idea was to go down the list of Umbrella’s top rival corporations and sell them samples of the virus’s and finance his empire. He kept these ideals away from Tricell but they had their suspicions.
Eventually Tricell became interested in acquiring a sample of the Plaga parasite. Behind the scenes he sent in Ada Wong to recover one for him and his new business partners. He sent in Krauser to back her up but the two became conflicted all the way until Leon Kennedy ended Krauser. Ada Wong continued to pursue Leon until she found out Krauser survived where she would kill him and aid Leon in killing Saddler before taking a sample of the parasite for herself.
In the end, she betrayed Wesker by sending him a subordinate Plaga sample while giving her organization the true sample. But Wesker wasn’t surprised by this, Krausers corpse was enough to get a dominate sample of the plaga parasite even if it was dead. He would take his samples to Tricell and genetically engineer evolved types of the parasite.
2006 – Spencer
After years of searching for Spencer he was finally informed of the European castle that was now housing the elder Spencer from the outside world. Wesker travelled there, not knowing that Spencer had arranged the location leak, fully expected Spencer to be surprised by his arrival, but much to his shock, the old man seemed to actually expect Wesker to arrive. It was then Wesker realized that Spencer had been in control of everything from the start, including Wesker's own actions. Spencer revealed that the development of BOWs was only a part of achieving his goal of forcing human evolution through viruses. With the birth of a superior human race, Spencer would make himself a god. Spencer required three things to accomplish his dream: the Progenitor virus as a primary viral base, the Umbrella Corporation for funds, and people who would share his ideals when an advanced race came to be. Much to the surprise of Wesker, Spencer revealed Wesker to be the result of the third necessity.
Spencer informed Wesker that he was of a plan called the Wesker Plan. Spencer collected hundreds of children from parents of superior intellect throughout the world. These children were all given the surname Wesker after the project's chief researcher, and Spencer used indoctrination and manipulation to install his values into these children. He would then collect 13 of them and send them Umbrella’s training facility. Each of the children were given the prototype virus in some way. But only one of the ‘siblings’ survived aside from Wesker and that was Alex Wesker, who had recently betrayed Spencer and disappeared.
Wesker, now visibly pissed off, impaled Spencer through the chest and killed him. He declared that only he was the one with the capability of being a god. But moments later Chris and Jill Valentine crashed his party. The two of them combined couldn’t stop his onslaught of attacks. He easily tossed aside Jill and beat Chris down once again about to kill him. However, Jill sacrificed herself by tackling him out of the window causing them to both fall into the chasm.
2009 – Africa
The two survived the fall. Wesker put Jill into cryogenic sleep intending to turn her into a weapon. He continued his activities working alongside Tricell and formed a partnership with Excella Gionne. Helping her get into the position of CEO she got the position of the head of all of the African division. The old Umbrella Africa research center was opened once again along with the source of the Progenitor virus. Wesker used the founder virus to create the Uroboros virus. He used Jill to perfect the virus.
Using the newly discovered chemical called P30, Wesker attached a device on Jill's chest that would continuously inject Jill with the chemical. With this, he was able to bend Jill to his will and enhance her abilities. By doing this, not only would Jill continue to assist him and Tricell, but she would also serve as a method of revenge against Chris.
Eventually all his plans came together. But they started falling apart one by one as Chris and Sheva worked their way through every obstacle to stop him. He purposely killed Gionne after losing Jill as an asset and eventually was overcame by Chris who injected him with too much of the serum that kept the virus in his body stable which weakened him.
After a helicopter crash where Chris and Sheva survived, Wesker infected himself with the Uroboros and transformed into a monster himself and faced off against his former nemesis. He was finally killed by a set of RPGs that hit him dead on while being engulfed from Lava in the heart of a volcano.
2012 – Another Life
Bits of his legacy were carried over into a realm different from the one he was about. Former agent Sazon Himura piggybacked DNA from his body into this realm. Eventually, Isfaro, under orders from the Captain, resurrected Wesker and perfected the virus in his body no longer making him inject himself with a serum to correct the infection running through his body. Wesker’s new body had to be retrained from the ground up making his down time months upon months.
Eventually Wesker was back to where he left off but slightly better and still growing in power. He still had intentions of running his own show and secretly has ideals to ruin the Captain and Vulture all the while crushing their enemies in the resistance. Eventually Wesker will work his plans into play, as he once said, "The weak would always resist the will of the Chosen."
