Special Abilities: Stephen is an angel in a human body, so most of his angelic abilities are nonexistent or limited.
Faith: Stephen is a firm believer in God, seeing as he is an agent of God. This gives him astonishing abilities that could allow him to do anything imaginable. However, God knew this, and put a limit upon him, preventing him from anything too extraordinary, or harming other beings through this method. This faith gives him control over animals and plants alike, though natural ground is immune to this, to prevent a misuse of power. He can create barriers to protect himself and others. Stephen has control over plants and animals through his faith. He can communicate with both, and then they will follow. They still have free will, but most of the time, they are glad a person can talk to them, and they will follow. This is also a form of attack, as they are a semi-loophole to God’s limitation on Stephen.
Scripture: Along with faith, bible scripture gives Stephen great power. There is a similar limitation, like faith, but is lessen compared to it. He is allowed to harm others, as long as they won’t die, but he still cannot do anything too extraordinary. The activation is that he reads the Chapter, verse number, and the verse, and what the verse says would happen. An example would be him saying ” Mark, chapter 3, verse 15, ‘and give them authority to banish demons’” This would harm demons around Stephen and his allies.
Holy energy: This is different with faith and scripture. Holy energy is used to bind enemies, as well as to incapacitate them. Holy energy comes in different forms, but all made of light. His most common creations of holy energy are beams of light about a quarter’s diameter wide, a pair of hand cuffs, and even a gun of light.
God’s Will: This is what empowers Stephen, through everything. He came to Earth to fulfill God’s Will at any cost, even his life. God’s Will is plain and simple, ‘be thy Shepard that leads thy sheep, but thou must be a stern Shepard, protect thy sheep from the wolves of darkness’. This basically means for Stephen to protect to good from the evil, even if that means killing the evil. God’s Will has a manifestation, a cross with a glyph of a fish on it. It is a neckless, though if he were in need, he can take it off, and touch the glyph, and it would turn into the Sword of God. In times of fighting, God’s Armor will appear on him: The Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation.
Weakness: Stephen has a limit on his power, placed by God, in order to protect other people, and Stephen. This only allows Stephen to kill with the Sword of God, as long as it helps with God’s Will. Stephen is also 13, which does make him a bit weaker than most others. However, he does make up for it in his other abilities.
Personality: Despite the image provided, Stephen is always smiling no matter what is happening. He connection with God gives him happiness, which also prevents other, negative, emotions to come in, like hatred, or rage. Other emotions do exist, like sadness, but he does not show it. Because of his young age, he is tends to want to take orders, than to give them out, though he is capable of doing so. Also, because he is 13 years old, he acts like they would, as in energetic, and very hungry.
Weapons: Stephen posses the Sword of God, and the Armor of God. Has a full bible (pocket edition) in his pocket
History: Stephen was alive before he was born. He was an Angle among God, sent down to Earth, to act a Shepard, and to spread faith throughout the land. Stephen, unlike Jesus, was not at all human, but just took on the appearance of a human. He was never born, but was instead placed within an orphanage, and was quickly adopted by the Longs. They were Presbyterians, and raised Stephen in the denomination, but Stephen seemed different. The first thing that the Longs noticed was his lack of crying as a child, and his friendliness to others. This was strange to them, however it didn’t really seem extraordinary. When Stephen was four, he was sent to preschool at a church. There, during recess, the children would fight, often boys and girls against each other, expect for Stephen. He would mainly try to stop the fighting, or sit on the ground, and try to learn to read the bible. He was a remarkable learner, as he learned to read by Christmas that year, and being able to read the King James Version of the bible by himself. (The King James Version is the version with all the older words, like thy). The teachers of the preschool also noticed something, that by the end of the year, all the fighting had stopped, and instead the children would talk with each other, or go and sit with Stephen to hear him talk about the bible. Stephen enjoyed this, as even at that young of an age, he knew he was doing what God wanted him to do.
The next year, he was sent to a public school, where his reputation at preschool seemed to vanish. He was no longer interesting, but was instead considered weird. While the children were playing recess, he would still sit on the ground and read the bible, though instead of ignoring him, they would instead bully him. This continued until one kid finally slapped Stephen so hard, that when his head turned, his neck popped multiple times. The teachers saw this, and were heading over there, when they say Stephen stand up, and looked right at the boy. The boy who slapped him back up a bit, afraid of being stuck back, but was instead astonished when Stephen simply turned his head the other way, and walked away. The teachers were stunned by this act of forgiveness, but this didn’t change the kids, as they continued to bully him. Stephens foster parents were told of this, and they confronted Stephen about this. Stephen however said that everything was fine, as God was watching over him. Even though his parents were church goers, and were strong in their faith, this still worried them, so at the end of the year, they withdrew him from school, and started to home school him. Like before, Stephen was a smart child, and was well on his way to being a child prodigy.
The Long’s however began to worry about Stephen, and his seemingly obsession over the Bible. They thought that he was a “special” child, and needed a break from church. However, the next Sunday morning, they told him that they were not going to church, and Stephen replied with scripture. They were saddened that a child wouldn’t take their opportunity to skip church. Eventually, they just ignored the ways that Stephen was different, and soon began to embrace it. Instead of going to Disney world to see Mickey Mouse®, they went to the Vatican City to see the Pope. They started sending Stephen back to school, trying to reestablish him in a society of youths. Stephen was about 11 at this time, so this was his was his seventh grade year. Unfortunately, like what happened at kindergarden, Stephen was bullied, and he would always be nonviolent. Eventually, the kids in his grade learned to accept him for who he is for the most part. Life seemed to be good for Stephen, until the second to last day of school, when an armed gunman invaded his school. Stephen was in gym class when the gunman barged in the gym. The gunman took his P90, and shot it into the air, yelling for everyone to lay on the ground. Everyone did, excluding Stephen, who was reading his bible while sitting on the bleachers. The gunman saw this, and pointed his gun at Stephen, and opened fire. Stephen however yelled something so fast, no one could hear him yet. A barrier formed around Stephen, and the bullets dropped to the ground. The gunman however was not impressed, and instead grabbed the hair of Stephen’s friend, Mary. The took the gun, and pointed it at her, and was about to open fire. Stephen stood up, and charged the man, holding only his cross in his hands. Terrified at this boy running at him, he aimed his gun at Stephen, but was too late. Stephen had pressed the fish on his cross, and in a light engulfed him. The bullets never touched him, and the gunman fell dead, with a cross upon his chest. Stephen managed to slip out of his school before anyone could see him, and ran towards the airport. The Longs were in distress over this, and they were given a copy of the video caught by the security camera. Two things appeared in this video. The light surrounding Stephen appeared as armor with wings, and that if the video was slowed, Stephen said ”Psalm chapter 37 verse 27-28 ‘Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. For the lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever.’” The video however did not see where Stephen ran from, so he was pronounced dead. However, he was not dead, instead at the time he was pronounced dead, he was already in the Vatican City.
Stephen became a student of a local priest, for two years. He became the youngest Catholic priest, and started his own church near Rome. However, no one knew it was Stephen, the hero boy from Georgia. On the day of the joining of the worlds, Stephen was sitting in his study, thinking of which piece of candy he should buy from the store. However, moments before getting up, a vision of God appeared, and Stephen collapsed. When he woke up, he was not in his study. He was instead on a pathway, leading to who knows where. He followed it, and this lead him to a small town. There he purchased more comfortable clothes, and left the town. He continued to follow God’s word, and would help others along his travels.
