Name: Ayaka Sajyou
Aliases: None
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species: Human - Master
Alignment: Neutral
Canon or Original: Canon - Never officially used in anything other than an original draft
Date of Birth: September 19th
Place of Birth: Japan of Earth
Physical Appearance:
Special Abilities: Ayaka seems to practice an older form of magic. A type of dark magic, she seems capable of using black feathers like darts to attack her enemies, even causing a Servant to guard against them. She also showed the capacity to control plants, causing them to grow rapidly outside of a green house door in order to bar entry.
She is a practitioner of Witchcraft, however she finds herself unskilled in it. It would be later on during the war that Saber would suggest that she try using Formalcraft. Though not seen as very useful by common Magi, she finds she has an amazing affinity for it that normal Magi cannot use to that degree.
Weapons: None
History:
Being born into a house of magi, Ayaka has powerful magic blood in her veins, even if she doesn't know it. Her father and older sister participated in the previous Holy Grail war, and attempted to offer her as a sacrifice to the Grail. However, their Servants turned on them. Her father's Servant killed him in retaliation, while her sister's Servant in turn threw his Master into the grail.
Ayaka, traumatized by this experience, has since locked it away subconsciously. Sadly, she was still doing a routine her father had told her to do every morning. A blood sacrifice. Ayaka could never bring herself to kill living things, possibly because of her past trauma. Unable to kill pigeons she uses her own blood as a substitute. Because of this the Sajyou home's Garden Workshop has gradually become a pigeon nest that keeps growing.
On the night of Saber's summoning, Ayaka was attacked by another Servant named Lancer. The reason for the attack is that Lancer's Master knew of Ayaka being a Master in the Holy Grail war. This person wanted her out with ease as to make it simpler for him to achieve victory. However, this Master nor Lancer knew that she would have summoned the most powerful Servant class at the moment Lancer's killing blow would connect.
At that moment Saber's summoning was established, and the force pushed Lancer back. Turning to Ayaka with a solemn face, Saber asked "Art though my Master?", to which Ayaka responded with hesitation. She knew what was going on, but couldn't accept it. With the hesitant acknowledgment of the contract, Saber turned to Lancer with his Invisible Air and chased him off.
Ayaka never wanted to become a Master in the Holy Grail wars, as her father and older sister had before her. She knew almost everything about the war including what the Grail required, but not that she was nearly the sacrifice before.
A few days has passed since Saber's arrival, and he has gotten used to the modern world. His manner of speech has greatly improved and changed to be much like an average person would. He and Ayaka have been getting along quite well, regardless of their Master/Servant titles. The two haven't had to deal with the other Masters and Servants as much as they thought they would, so they decided to spend the time training Ayaka in proper magic.
During one of their training sessions, Saber had instructed Ayaka to open a portal from one end of the house to the other. This process was rather simple for a decent magician, however Ayaka isn't exactly your average magi. The two portals came together with such force, Saber and Ayaka were sucked into them. After some time the two had awaken to find themselves on the roof of a skyscraper, with many more surrounding them. "You know... I think you put too much clumsy into that one..." Saber stated jokingly.
"Shut up Saber! How was I supposed to know that spell would put u-" Ayaka cut herself short. Their gaze turned to the city that lay before them. It was an unfamiliar scene. Ayaka became frightened while Saber stayed cool as usual. A bright light surrounded him as he summoned his magical armor and Invisible Air. He walked to Ayaka and held out his left hand to her. "Come. I know not where we are... but as your Servant, I will protect you. I think we should find out where we are first, don't you?"
