Name: Roy Nikanoru Atenwood
Aliases: None, he hasn't been around long enough to be well known.
Age: Approximately twenty four hours.
Gender: Male.
Species: Son of Chaos
Alignment: Chaotic Good. (This may change over time.)
Canon or Original: Original
Date of Birth: Unknown, as it is impossible to reckon Sivelos time with Genesis time.
Place of Birth: A plane called Sivelos.
Physical Appearance:
Special Abilities: Electricity control and creation: Kaden Baccar was literally the universe's most powerful mage, and while Roy's elementalist powers are only a shadow of his, they are still quite formidable. He can control and create electricity, to an astonishing degree.
Fire control and creation: See above.
Flight: Self explanitory.
Superhuman Physical Abilities: His speed, strength, and endurance, along with his reflexes, all far surpass humans. He can lift several tons with relative ease, though his strength has not been fully tested as of yet. He can endure wounds that would bring down even the strongest being, and move with speed a normal human wouldn't be able to follow without a high-speed camera.
Low-Demigod Phisiology: Kaden Bacarr was a progeny of a demigod and a god who ascended to godhood. As a sentient fraction of his power, Roy is akin to a demigod. He can survive in space for extended periods of time without assistance, though not indefinitely, and can go weeks at a time without food or water, though it is uncomfortable for him to do so. Due to Kaden having been a "Chaotic" god, Roy's blood is a darker red than a human's, almost being black.
Weapons: Cadelfwch, a sword which itself has no special powers beyond a sharp edge and indestructable blade. However, he who holds the sheath of Cadelfwch will not bleed from wounds inflicted upon them. They can still be wounded and killed, however it makes recovery and fighting while wounded easier, as one does not have to worry about blood loss. Roy is looking for a way to restore its god shattering power, however, so he may cast Kaden down again if he ever regains the other shards of his power.
History: To know Roy's history, you must first know Kaden Baccar's history. Kaden Baccar was the offspring of the God of War and the Godslayer, a mystic being with the power to slay a god. Naturally. Why else would she be called that? In any case, the child took his father's name, and his mother raised him. When he was ten years old, a war erupted among the gods. The Godslayer, Talia Baccar, sided with the god of war, and soon the two had slain or subjugated the oher gods, and taken over Sivelos, bending it to thier will. Within ten years, the entire population was worshiping either of the two.
But when he was fifteen, Kaden instigated war between the followers of Talia and his father. Surely a godslayer and a god couldn't coexist, right? HE bent the populace to his will, convincing them he was a corrupted being, and that they should follow him and cast down one of the two, each side treating him as either a pariah or a messiah. This brought his parents to blows, and when Talia struck down his father in battle, he acted quickly and absorbed his father's power. With his own considerable magic might, and his father's godlike power, he was able to cast his mtoher down, letting her live but absorbing her power as well. It was around this time the populace noticed that they had been blithering idiots and tried to fight him. The gods that had been subjugated instead of slain also joined in thier fight, but one by one he killed and absorbed them using his father's power, and then quite literally destroyed the populace, remaking them
to serve him instead of fight against him.
And for a time, he was happy. Nearly a thousand years after the war he instigated, however, a new Godslayer was born. Kaden decided to turn his full godlike power upon the man as soon as he fell under his gaze, on the new godslayer's eighteenth birthday. However, the man had been raised harshly, the people had grown tired of Kaden's chaotic, ugly rule, and fought back alongside thier Godslayer. They had forged a sword called Cadelfwch, with the power to shatter gods, and given it to the man. While he wasn't truly a match for Kaden, the Godslayer managed to peirce hte god's heart with the blade with his dying breath, shattering Kaden's power and scattering it across the multiverse.
(Now that I've summed up ten years worth of roleplaying in three paragraphs, on to Roy.)
In that moment, fifteen Sons of Chaos were born. Sentient shards of power flowed out of Kaden's wasted, still living body, being flung across the multiverse. As the final, smallest shard flew from Kaden, his hand grabbed the sword, attempting to stay on Sivelos. One of the godslayer's men threw the sheath at him, trying to get him to let go, but he caught it, holding fast to the sword. In one final gesture to symbolize Kaden's defeat, the shard twisted the sword in the wound, causing Kaden to cry out in pain. That shard would come to later be known as Roy Atenwood.
As he was flung through the multiverse, he landed in the wilderness of Genesis. He was fully clothed, and in the fashion of the gods of Sivelos, he had a backpack full of books on him, symbolizing what god's power he was, now that he was split off from Kaden and given sentience. He raised an eyebrow as he read the books.
Kill a Son and gain his power. When all the Sons are killed, Kaden will be reborn.
At that moment, having been one of the Sons born with a sense of right and wrong, he decided to keep himself alive, to keep Kaden from being reborn. He knew he had to wander, to keep from being found. What being wouldn't be tempted by all that power, and who knew what kind of people the other Sons were? Hell, who knew what kind of person he was, really. He was less than a day old at this point. So he withdrew into the wilderness, to thnik, for a while.
Who am I?
What am I?
Why am I so hungry?
And so, he ventured into town to find something to eat...and thus begins his story.
