Stature of a Saint
Iesua, despite having reincarnated into a new body, is still the child of God. As such, her identity is not human, but a Saint. Those who are from/based off mythology or identify themselves as gods, angels, or demons of sorts will recognize Iesua immediately as Jesus. Iesua also levitates rather than actually walk, and can regenerate from wounds, including self-given wounds. However, regeneration is not fast, and she is unable to be healed through any means of magic, technology, or first aid. Any attempts will simply cause the wound to disappear, only for it to reappear soon afterwards. It also seems regeneration of certain wounds is also altered by her mindset and faith when the wounds were delivered, noting how Jesus' wounds on his hand and head have yet to fully heal.
Emmanuel's Blood Line: Water to Wine
Iesua's ability is the miracle of turning water into wine. However, this is mainly just a metaphorical description (though she seriously can turn water into wine. Apparently part of her Saint status is that she is forbidden from eating meats and can only drink either water or wine). In reality, the wine refers to her own bloodstream, which is used to perform miracles. Therefore, this ability does two things:
1: Use surrounding moisture in the air or water to create spells, the more water used, the stronger the spell. Iesua can also create holy water by storing and blessing water, but this water can only be used in the same thread/plot arc that it was created in.
2: Iesua can summon a large metal stake/nail and stab herself, causing blood to flow. This blood can then be used to perform stronger versions of her attacks.
So the hierarchy of strength is as follows: Spells used during Low Humidity (L), Normal humidity (N), High humidity or near a water source (H), Holy Water (HW), and when stabbing herself (S). Overall power of attacks increases as the ranking goes up, but the spell's name and effects may alter depending on the rank itself as well.
Beast's Eye(L/N)/Dragon's Eye(H/HW)
Iesua can attack with only one Supportive spell, and one Offense spell each turn. However, Beast's Eye sacrifices either one Support spell or one Offense spell in a post. The next time Iesua attacks, however, she can then attack with either two Supportive and one Offense, or two Offense and one Support, depending on which type of spell was sacrificed when Beast's Eye was first used.
Dragon's Eye is more brutal. It sacrifices one spell of either type, like Beast's Eye; however, the next time Iesua attacks, she can now use two of both Supportive or Offense attacks. Beast's Eye cannot be cast more than 3 consecutive times if the surrounding area is at Low Humidity, and Dragon's Eye cannot be cast more than 3 consecutive times unless used with Holy Water, which resets the counter.
Prayer(L/N)/Devotion(H/HW)/Salvation(S)
A standard healing skill. Prayer used at Low humidity can only be used on one person, while Normal humidity heals an entire group. Devotion heals a whole group, but when Holy Water is used, it can be used to completely heal a single target. When Sacrifice is used, Iesua heals the entire group, at the cost of receiving additional wounds based off how many people and how much is healed.
Regenerate(L/N)/Invigorate(H/HW)/Victory Cry(S)
Regenerate heals physical ailments such as temporary paralysis, blinding, and some poisons. Low humidity can only heal one person, while Normal humidity can heal an entire group. Invigorate can also heal a group's mental ailments, such as relief from fear or forms of mental inhibitors. When used with Holy Water, Invigorate instantly heals a single person of ailments. Victory Cry heals an entire group of ailments, and is used automatically when Iesua is unable to, for any reason, cast spells.
Shield of Justice(L/N/H)/Shield of Heaven(HW/S)
Shield of Justice summons an energy barrier to block one attack. If used during lower humidity, the shield may break. Shield of Heaven creates a barrier around Iesua that covers anyone around it. It prevents entry, exit, or damage for one post. While Shield of Justice is considered a Supportive spell, Shield of Heaven is actually categorized as an Offense spell.
Cross(L/N/H)
A simple telekinetic ability that allows Iesua to attack by moving her cross around within a close-range area. Not much changes between low and normal humidity; however, when near a water source or in high humidity, Iesua can summon a second cross made of compressed water.
Purify/Purge(N/H)
Upgrades the cross, letting it deal additional Divine damage. Divine does normal damage against humans, less damage against gods/divine beings, and extra damage against demons and ghosts. When in higher humidity or near water, the cross can also fire large "Nails" made of the same Divine energy.
He Who Arrives at the End of the World(HW)/Eli Eli Lama Sabacthani(S)
Creates a holy field of a 10 foot diameter that is then struck and purified with Divine magic. Eli Eli Lama Sabacthani creates the same field, however the field is then struck with "Almighty" damage, which deals a large amount of damage regardless of species.
Weapons:
Cross: An ornamental cross. Not the same cross used to crucify Jesus.
History:
Rivaling Buddha, the most famous of all Saints in the world. To be accurate, the child of man and the child of Yahweh. The legend of being betrayed by one of his disciples, crucified on the cross, and then brought back to life three days later is already a well known story even among those who do not believe in Christianity. However, there is no longer anyone who knows the truth behind the flowery story in the New Testament.
Though she is the child of God, because of the excessive pain she endured at the time of her crucifixion, she ended up speaking curses to God. "God, God, Why have you abandoned me?" Faith becomes power. Whether it's the past or present, or Gensoukyou or the country of the West, this fact is unchanging. So, if one doubts God, the powers he has promised through faith will be lost. In truth, after the crucifixion, though Iesua was supposed to be resurrected as a holy person, she had already become nothing more than a human who no longer had the ability to bring about miracles. She had suffered on the cross and died.
Initially, the betrayal of the disciple that had been planned by Lucifer was going to be turned into a good thing by Yahweh. Contrary to expectations however, upon facing the worst possible conclusion, the disciple who's true nature had returned deeply regretted his actions and was tormented by guilt. So, in a way that no one would see it, he took the body of his enshrined master away. Why? If the body disappeared, rumors of Iesua's revival would begin to spread. The rumors among the people would turn into faith, and the power of faith would become the power to bring about a miracle. Thus, Iesua was barely able to be revived as the child of God after three days. And so, forgiving her disciple was the first thing she went to do upon returning.
---The disciple, however, had already hung himself. His soul was not saved by God, but instead ended up being captured by Lucifer. Moreover, to make things worse, Lucifer had once again hidden himself somewhere in the world.
The religion that Iesua taught to the world was truly a simple one. To write, it would only take one word: "Forgive." No matter how you decorate it with pretty words, everyone whether in the past or the present lives with something they want everyone to turn their eyes away from. If someone is able to forgive them, they can be released from their suffering. Therefore, first, I will give everything I have to forgive "you."---
To the people who had been living carrying such suffering, her words wrapped them in an overflowing love.
When the star fell and the sign of the last battle was mistakenly given, Mikaboshi's (Lucifer's) power keeping him hidden was released, and the morning star began to give off a strange light. From this, Iesua could finally determine the location of the Demon King. She decided to descend into the world, but not with the purpose of fighting Lucifer. Instead, it was to forgive everyone. Michael, who feared God's Wrath; The still suffering soul of her disciple, that had been captured; Even the pitiful demon king who had lost all chance at reconciliation with God. "You don't have to suffer anymore" is the only thing she wanted to say. Only that.
The saint who had forgiven the suffering of all mankind wished only to forgive them herself. She left the world to find the demons who she had fought when Lucifer first rebelled against God. Currently, she is searching for a single demon known currently as "Laplace". She had almost cornered him at a different world, but they both faced near-death conditions when the world was destroyed. As Iesua was dying, she intentionally killed herself, using the draining blood to perform the miracle, allowing the soul of a man to become purified and cleansed of faith, fating this man to become the casket for the demon Laplace. She returned to Heaven, and waited for the day when fate would allow her to return.
That day would come with the birth and raising of the man Dust. As expected, Laplace would come to him and possess him, eager to occupy this ideal body. Soon afterwards, the Novagenesis would rise, setting the proper stage for Iesua's ressurection. She would appear one month after Laplace's possession, however. An error had occured due to Dust's interference with the cult. Iesua was forced to resurrect in an improper method, causing the mass destruction of the world she was reborn in. Dust, however, had returned. Iesua confronted Dust and was prepared to remove Laplace from his body, but the man had run from her. She chased him into the gateway where she had first appeared as well, and the fates of both Laplace and Dust have been rewritten once more.
