History:
A girl looked up through her flowing black locks of hair at the high ruler who had her stripped naked. She was the daughter of Vlad II Dracul who had practically pawned her off for the throne but she understood his reasons to keep their lands under Draculesti rule. Though she was only fourteen at the time she knew what this meant for her innocence. The high ruler stroked her shoulder with his rough hand and gazed at her body. Every inch of her was trembling in hatred of the Ottoman leader.
The Matriarch
When her father was killed she was placed on the throne to stop the Hungarian forces from claiming Wallachia. Her reign was short lived as the High Ruler pulled her back due to negative reactions from the people not wanting a female ruler. She would escape the High Ruler and hide under the protection of her uncle, Bogdan II. The High Ruler knew he couldn’t invade Moldavia instead he would send an assassin to wash out Bogdan and leave Mira with nowhere else to run. However, she found her way to Hungary and the General placed Mira as his advisor.
The High Ruler conquers Constantinople in 1453 spreading the Ottoman influence. Nearly three years later they move in to Belgrade and besiege it. The General organizes a counter attack in Serbia until he falls ill with the plague and dies. His counter attack allows Mira’s own push into Wallachia much easier. Her forces wipe out most Ottoman forces and she defeats Vladislav II. Every living soldier is impaled upon large spikes nearly a mile away from the city on the road where the Ottoman army may come from marking the first time she uses impaling as a death sentence and a psychological weapon.
Her return to the Wallachia throne finds troubling times as unrest and unruly behavior within Wallachia sees rampant crime and poverty on a rise. She believed the nobles who had murdered her father were responsible and begins slaughtering nobles through all of Wallachia. Poor folk are allowed to collect positions and wealth left behind by the deceased creating a new generation of nobles. She chooses many to join her council but only ones she believes will be loyal to her alone. She forces the remaining nobles to build a church over the murder place of her father and brother, once it was completed they were placed on spikes or beheaded.
A lot of her personal wealth was given to raiders to raid Transylvania due to their connections with Wallachian nobility. Her direct orders were to eliminate trade and raid their cities. When one of her raiders was killed in defense she had thirty settlers impaled in the middle of the town.
The War
1459, Pope Pius calls for a crusade against the Ottomans. The man who leads the charge was the son of the General who once placed Mira in his advisor position. She dedicates herself and her army to fighting the Ottomans to reclaim Wallachia completely and to stamp out any Ottomans who would try and take her country. The High Ruler would one day send an envoy to Mira and urge her to pay a delayed tax, she refused the High Ruler as paying the tax would be acceptance of Wallachia into Ottoman rule. She instead nailed the Ottoman envoys turbans to their heads and sent their corpses back as payment.
The High King receives intelligence of this and attempts to make peace with Mira, or if necessary, kill her by sending a military envoy toward her lands. Instead the envoy finds themselves on the wrong end of an ambush as a surprise attack and were captured. Mira has each soldier staked, the higher the rank the higher the stake. In response to this she has several of her men and herself disguised as Ottoman soldiers and infiltrate and destroy Ottoman camps across the countryside.
Bodies of many soldiers were found stripped naked and strung up along a tree line with a message carved into their backs: I have killed peasants men and women, old and young, who lived across these lands, where the Danube flows into the sea. We killed 23,884 Turks without counting those whom we burned in homes or the Turks whose heads were cut by our soldiers… Thus, your highness, you must know that I have broken the peace.
In response to this the High King raised an army of nearly 60,000 troops and 30,000 irregulars and marched toward Wallachia. Mira’s forces were only half of this and couldn’t stop the push at the Danube instead she organized small attacks and ambushes on the Turks. Her greatest ambush killed nearly 15,000 Turks, nearly all of them were staked. This attack forced the High King to cross the Danube but upon seeing the bodies impaled from the raid they were ordered into retreat.
Mira would eventually find herself on the wrong end of her brother Radu cel Frumos who had remained under the High Kings control ever since they were children. Radu organized many well-armed troops to attack Mira but they failed and many of his men were killed. He continued to assault his sisters lands pressing back her forces with his Janissary battalions and a steady flow of gunpowder and dinars. Eventually they pushed Mira back to her last settlement, Poenari Castle, more famously known as Draculas Castle. Weeks of siege Radu finally gained victory of Mira.
It would be later found out that the Nobles she placed in her realm turned against her for her brother in order to regain their privileges. Some joined him out of blackmail and fear of being murdered. Either way, Mira remained uncaptured but had lost much of her land. She continued to fight against her brother winning three more battles before becoming broke and could no longer pay the mercenaries who fought for her. She sought out the Generals son and instead of receiving help she was arrested for high treason. A letter was forged in her name to the Ottomans proposing peace giving the Pope reason to abandon the war.
The Vampire; Dracula
She was imprisoned at Oratia, a fortress located at Podu Dambovitei Bridge. Where she served nearly twelve years in the dungeons of the fortress until a relative and king of Moldavia, Stefan cel Mare, intervened and allowed her release as Ottoman pressure on northern Danube increased. Upon her release she spent several months rehabilitating her body for war and in 1475 she invaded Wallachia with Hungarian support. Her brother sat on the throne at the time he was not only beaten and tortured but finally put on display impaled.
Her third rule lasted only two months as her guards allowed an assassin to enter her chambers and kill her. Though her death was their undoing. Castle Dracula was said to be haunted with the soul of the late Mira Tepes Dracula, it only became present that she remained alive when the High King was mysteriously found murdered and ripped apart limb from limb with the Dracula family crest drawn on the wall in his blood. His body was drained and what remained of his corpse was impaled by a large flag staff and presented in the middle of his kingdom for everyone to see when the sun rose.
1897 Countess Dracula, a Transylvanian noble inhabits the decaying castle which she had remained in for a very long time. She lives alone and is very charming with the allure of a goddess. She meets Jonathan Harker and tells him a wild tail of learning the black arts in a Scholomance academy. She tells him war stories of leading armies against the Turks. Harker returns to London with wild stories of the woman until she infiltrates London. She requests Harker to provide legal support for a real estate transaction. She charms Harker and even goes so far as saving him from the clutches of three male vampires who were in the castle.
The transaction is completed and Harker leaves back home. Eventually the Countess boards a Russian ship heading to Whitby, she drains the entire crew and impales the captain at the helm of the ship. Upon investigation only a black dog is found on the ship. The countess, obsessed with Harker, finds out about his fiancée Mina Murray. She falls into a fit of rage and begins feeding off Mina’s friend Lucy. As Lucy declines a Dutch doctor is called upon, Abraham Van Helsing. Helsing instantly deduces her condition as supernatural noting the bites on her neck and linking them to vampires. However, Helsing is too late as the following night the Countess raises Lucy to the undead ranks.
Van Helsing and Lucy’s former suitors including John Harker enter her chambers and stake her in her sleep killing her. They eventually investigate Dracula’s residence and stage a counter attack against the Countess who is forced out of her home in England, she leaves the country but before she leaves completely she bites Mina turning her.
A long voyage back to Castle Dracula she awaits the attackers calling her bodyguards to handle the suitors. In a climactic battle the suitors are killed leaving only Van Helsing and John Harker to fight off the vampire bodyguards. Helsing kills two of the three while Harker is murdered by the other in revenge Helsing stakes the vampire and engages the Countess directly. Van Helsing utilizes silver bullets and silver chains in his fight against Dracula causing her onslaught to be halted where she is staked but not killed. She is wrapped in the silver chains with Helsing declaring, “She is unlike any vampire he had ever seen.”

She trains Sarah and arms her with a weapon. They are sent on a ghoul extermination run to further Sarah’s training but instead run into the most dangerous agent of the Iscariot Organization, Alistair Anderson. The paladin nearly kills Sarah but eventually faces Alucard as they face one another Alistair slides his blade across her chest and impales her to the wall.
