It was dark this night, the clouds clearly masking the waning moon and the canopy of the forest further limiting the little light that streamed through. A boy lay resting, seemingly exhausted and pale, his back and shoulders covered by a long white coat, though he did not wear a shirt or even a vest. The long pants he wore were marked with the grass and dirt he'd been trudging through, and he already seemed to have had enough of the forest.
The boy's blonde hair shifted as his narrow head did, silver eyes hidden behind closed eyelids and his fingernails digging into the dirt beneath him as a cold wind blew through the forest, and against him. He cursed the evening, and everything this forest could potentially offer, though he doubted the trees or animals would even understand him. His language was a jumble of numbers, after all, a code of considerable complexity it would seem, as no-one had even attempted to comfort or welcome him in this harsh land filled with all sorts of surprises; just today he was nearly eaten by a plant, of all things.
Seven lay and then let his eyes slide open, his thin frame now rising from the ground as he found it impossible to sleep or even get comfortable, despite the soft grass. He shook his head and looked to a gap in the ceiling above, his eyes scanning the stars, numbers already crunching the approximate distance of how far away they were, how many leaves on the trees, and how many animals might be awake and asleep at this moment, though that final one he didn't really spend too long calculating. {20080919 1612010305 0919 1915 03151204...}1 came the torrent of numbers from his mouth, a complaint against the harsh conditions of this forest and it's increasingly strange variables. He lay back down, arms and legs seperated and defeated; he felt as such, as the numbers in his mind once again flared up, causing him a grave headache that made him wince in pain.

“I cannot believe that woman!” cried Zora angrily as she stormed through the cold forest. “Leaving me out here all alone with nothing! Nothing! I knew she would abandon me for that Xena! I just knew it!”
Zora carried her bag of books in a huff and wasn't even paying attention to where she was going through the forest, causing her to bump right into Seven and fall down against the dirty cold ground of the forest. And in classic Slytherin style the last person she would blame for that mishap would be herself.
“Watch where you're going you dumb oaf!”

Seven was sharply kicked square in the ribs as he laid sprawled out, and his first reaction was to jump up hysterical and yell in surprise at the girl, quickly retreating and glaring at her as his back hit a tree, obviously shocked that she was even there in the first place. She opened her mouth, and noises came fourth, the strange sounds sounding alien and foreign, and his own mind racing as numbers raced into his mind, his eyes darting around wildly, unable to focus on any single one thing; as if he were singularly struggling to identify the world around him
{230815 011805 251521!? 19200125 02010311 1518 05121905!!1, came the torrential barrage of numbers erupting from the boys mouth, his silver eyes wide with both fear and a moderate and healthy dose of surprise. His white lab coat was ripped and torn; and the young boy's hair had certainly been cleaner, once. He managed to get to his feet, and grabbed a random stick, holding it defensively before him, and screaming yet more numbers. {09 08012205 01 230501161514 141523 1915 251521 080104 020520200518 19200125 1809070820 2308051805 251521 011805!2 he cried out, still a little shocked anyone was out here, though clearly not particularly keen on getting too close to the first human he'd seen since arrival in this strange forest.
1 " Who are you!? Stay back or else!!" 2 " I have a weapon now so you had better stay right where you are!

“What?”
Zora couldn't make out a single thing the man was saying. He sounded every bit as foreign to her as she did to him. The only problem was she didn't realize he couldn't understand her. The young witch could only laugh when he held up the stick. Getting up to her feet and dusting herself off.
“You must be joking.”
Zora drew her wand and aimed it at the man.
“Incendio!”
Fire erupted from the tip of the wand and headed towards the man stick to catch it ablaze.

She had a stick too? That wasn't fair to the poor defenceless boy at all! Seven was a little outraged at the fact that this woman had an equally large stick like he did hidden away in those clothes of hers. Numbers poured in, measuring and judging the stick's danger to him, the size of her arm, the way she was holding it, and what the likelihood of winning a fight with this strange girl would be, his mind racing as his eyes dilated and he appeared blank.
She called something out then, something strange and foreign once more, the sounds made from her lips aggressive. His stick suddenly burst into flame, and Seven panicked and chucked it rather half heartedly in her direction, the numbers not having predicted the stick to spontaneously set itself alight. He recovered quickly, and glared at this girl, and suddenly his vision began to waver as variables began to pile up in front of him. What else could this girl do, what else could her stick do, was it the cloaks? Did she change shape? Was she even human? What were the colours of her eyes? Did she like water from the tap or from a bottle? Was she a vegetarian, vegan or omnivore? Did she like pencils or did she see pencils for the evil, vile, dangerous weapons of mass hysteria they were?
Suddenly, all these questions, so many variables, overwhelmed the poor young man as he fell to the ground, whimpering in pain as the immense and almost unsolvable equations began to overpower his consciousness, his lips escaping from each other only to groan and complain about his newly found headache. He huffed and panted as the numbers started to solve themselves, for most parts anyway, settling to a very mild roar in his head, and he was able to stand unsteadily again. He couldn't even begin to speak, instead taking a step and tripping on a root and falling down, his arms flailing out to grab whatever was in front of him.

OOC - *Butts in* Hey guys~ The forest had grown cold with the night, stars twinkling in the dark sky, their light the only thing illuminating the trees. It didn't matter, however, as Rina didn't need much light. Her golden eyes were of a night creatures, catching what little light there was and reflecting in her orbs, making it easy for her to navigate the quiet woods. A bluebird twittered at her in annoyance as she passed, its sleep disturbed by her movement. Black wolf ears swiveled to catch the sound, but she did not stop. She continued on, leaping from tree to tree, her midnight hair snapping behind her.
Suddenly, she stopped.
There two more people in this forest. She could smell them. Curiousity, which had always been her biggest problem, made her follow their scent until she reached a small glade. A large gap above in the treetops allowed the stars to shine through, their light shimmering over the two people like liquid. Rina stopped in a nearby tree and gazed down at them in observation, golden eyes curious.
It seemed that the two had not met before and had scared each other. Though she scented no fear from the girl. The boy, however, was clearly frightened and what was odd was that when he spoke, it was with numbers and not letters. He didn't seem to understand the girl, either. Rina watched as the boy went to move, only to trip and fall, arms reaching out to grab hold of something to keep him from hitting the ground. It was likely he was going to catch hold of the girl's clothes to keep himself up. Dropping down, the wolf-featured girl flitted to the boy's side and stopped his fall by grabbing ahold of his upper arm, her grip firm, yet gentle. Her golden eyes looked at the girl as she tilted her head to the side, deciding not to be the first one to speak.

“Wingardium Leviosa!”
The burning stick stopped in midair and was now under the control of Zora. A nasty grin stretched her finger as she levitated the burning stick towards Seven to torment him even further. Despite the process Gabrielle had made with Zora over the past two years there was still a bully in her yet. But Zora didn't really care at this point, as far as she was concerned Gabrielle had abandoned her so why should she care about anyone else?
“What's the matter? You don't like fire?”
Zora moved the stick in the way of his hand that was reaching out for something to avoid falling, and was certain to be burned for his attempt until a third party intervened and kept the man from falling. Zora's eyes diverted from the man and over to the woman as she spoke, “Who are you?” And they better know English.

Of all the variables Seven had calculated, someone coming to actually help him had only been a 0.7% chance, and he set about using this person to right himself and gaze upon his new 'opponent'. Could he actually fight a girl with so many variables surrounding her? So many calculations?
Seven began to wonder if this world was out to kill him; and sadly, his calculation proved that he had a 2% chance to actually survive past the age of 22. With this meek chance, he sighed and looked to his arms, seemingly checking that he wasn't about to suddenly about to erupt into flames or the like, and then once he was certain the risk was only minimal, he looked to his new 'ally', a variable he hadn't even begun to consciously calculate. He raced around her, checking her for any signs of the one thing that marked her as a threat; those nasty, short, thin pens and pencils that went scratch scratch scratch on paper. The sound of a pen scratching scared him, and the sight filled him with such deep fear that his whole mind shut down.
He couldn't find any signs of pen at least, and felt a little more comfortable, as he mind began calculating every part of this person now, her eyes, the size of her pinky, the chance those ears of hers were just head ornaments, and if this girl knew how to eat with knives and spoons. He began to solve each of these 'great mysteries' one by one in his head, even measuring the paleness of her skin and the luminosity of those flaming eyes. Using the speed at which she had appeared to help him, and his approximate measurement from the ground at the time, as well as taking his angle of his centre of gravity, he reasoned that this person was not even human; probably much like his opponent, who was doing almost incalculable things with that strange stick of hers.
The burning stick at this point was hardly bright enough, but Seven could clearly see robes and a thin figure of a human inside them, his eyes carefully re-evaluating the situation and his current value between the two females; sadly, he found his ego hit hard as the value was horribly low and feeble in comparison to the survival rates of both. He dropped to his knees and then planted himself on his bottom, rather upset that the numbers said he wasn't strong enough. Seven pouted and didn't seem in a good mood at all, finding a rock and throwing it rather childishly at a tree nearby, and huffed.
{20080919 091914 20 06010918 0120 011212~!}1 he whined in disgust, now standing behind the wolf-kin that had taken to his aid before, somewhat content using her a shield, the calculations allowing his survival rate to jump to 2.8%; it wasn't much, but gave him some confidence. 1"This isn't fair at all~!"

Something she had not been expecting was for the boy to run around her as if searching for something. She seemed to draw back in on herself at first; out of instinct, before raising a brow in half-amusement and the other half curiosity. When the boy at last settled down, he appeared quite upset. Who could blame him? Someone was attacking him without reason. She turned her attention back to the person in front of them.
"Who are you?" the girl demanded.
With a flash of her fangs, the wolf girl gave a feral smile. "I'm a creature of the night that you don't want to tangle with." she replied in a low, calm tone. She'd really rather not have to fight this girl. For one, she was human, even if she used magic. And for two, she hadn't come to fight. Swishing her tail, the wolf girl said, "Leave the poor boy alone. He's done you no harm." she paused, wolf ears pricking forward. "What are you doing out in this forest anyway? It's no often humans pass though...unscathed." she glanced behind her at the boy as she said this, tilting her head at him. She would've asked him the same question, but there was one problem...
How were they going to communicate?

((If you don't mind a hapless wanderers presence...)) Lost amidst his usual wandering the tetrahedral helmed beast found himself admiring the lush greenery in an unusual sense of peace. The dirt beneath his feet was more pleasent then the dirty streets of his home. It muffled partially the sound of his blade as it dug through the fresh earth rising a scent of life about him. The small stones in the dirt scraped against his blade ruining the muffling effect of the dirt.
So much life here. So unlike the realm of death he led and revelled in. So unlike the rivers of blood he left in his wake. Here he could almost feel himself human as his physique declared, though laden with muscle and draped in the flesh of his victims in a makesift apron and stained heavily from the tip of his monsterous helm to the soles of his bare feet in layers of blood and dirt. Even his blade, a large heavy sheet of sharp metal, was as stained as the rest of him. His heavy footsteps weighed down by the helm and blade were muffled by the earthen floor. Yet despite the forests attempts to leave his motions silent he still made quite an eerie sounding progression. Schreeee. Thump thump..... Schreeeee. Thump thump.
He ducked faintly and pressed through a layer of heavily foliage, only to falter as he happened upon the hapless trio of small creatures. So distracted by his unusual surroundings he had not sensed their presence. So startled was he that he paused and tilted his helm as if confused. The voice of his inner monster was silenced by circumstance and for once Pyramid Head did not know what to do.

Seven's eyes were likely the first to catch the lumbering monster that stood before them as it twisted it's head. That blade it carried, it's exact length was measured, it's arms calculated and it's seemingly steady but slow gait still gave him pause as he measured involuntarily the amount of torque that body could generate from it's powerful, grotesque limbs. The poor human wasn't any part sure if it was hostile, though he had to admit that he was terrified as he scrambled to his feet in horror. Maybe he sort of wished he hadn't thrown that rock in the first place, since it was likely one of the few weapons he'd have to defend himself with; unlike the girl in the robes, he didn't have super stick burning powers, nor did Seven have the speed, grace or agility of wolf-kin thing that had come to his aid. What he did know was that he should probably run, and quickly. He took a few small steps back as the full size of the brute came into view; no matter how many times the numbers scanned it, it always looked bigger than the facts tried to state. Maybe it was the large blade it weilded in it's muscles clasp, or maybe it was silent way it seemed to study the pair who were left to gaze at the monster.
