Name: Anatta Sagga
Aliases: The Naga
Age: 2559 Years Old (Looks to be about the age she died though; late twenties)
Gender: Female
Species: Arrancar
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Canon or Original: Original
Date of Birth: December 17, 547 B.C
Place of Birth: Rajgir, India
Physical Appearance:
Special Abilities:
Garganta: A spiritual pathway connecting the Arrancar's world Hueco Mundo to other worlds. Besides the World of the Living and Soul Society, it can open the gates of the Dangai. A turbulence of reishi blows within Garganta. To move through it, travelers must create footholds using the reishi.
Cero: An attack used by Menos, Arrancar, and Visored. As a standard energy blast, it consists of firing a powerful blast of concentrated spiritual energy at the target. Anatta's Cero is typically a pale green.
Cero De Ilustración: It is performed by mixing an Arrancar's own blood with the Cero. The result is a Cero with much greater attack power and speed and a change of color unique to the Arrancar - In Anatta's case it becomes a bright white color. It is many times more powerful than a normal Cero, capable of disturbing the fabric of space. upon release, it seems to spin like a razor as it compresses and decompresses due to the sheer speed and raw power.
Bala:While similar in function to a Cero, the technique is not nearly as powerful, but, thanks to its composition, its speed is 20 times faster, allowing it to be fired in quick succession. In addition, it possesses more concussive force than a typical Cero does. A Bala's ultimate speed and power varies depending on the Arrancar using it.
Hierro:A defensive Arrancar technique in which the user's reiryoku condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakutô. This allows users to confront some of the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded.
Sonido:a high-speed movement technique of the Arrancar.
Gonsui:As the practitioner inhales as if they were drawing in a large quantity of air, the souls of beings in a large radius around them are drawn towards and into their mouth so they may be ingested, increasing the user's reiryoku in the process, while resulting in the immediate death of any afflicted victims.
Pesquisa:an advanced Arrancar perception technique which is used to both detect and gauge sources of reiatsu within the vicinity of the user.
Regeneration:Allows Hollows to recover from any damage that they sustain by causing them to heal at a drastically increased rate, closing the wounds on their body and causing any limbs that they have lost to grow back within extremely short periods of time. Despite the extent to which it can heal the body, internal organs such as the brain cannot be regenerated; if such irreparable damage is sustained, the rest of the body can continue to regenerate, though to no avail.
Resureccion:
'Cantame, Shesha.'
Arrancar usually seal the nuclei of their abilities within the form of a sword, which is entirely different from what the Shinigami use. When they release their weapons' seals, they unleash their true power and their true form. The only time they can return to Human form is when they reseal their powers in sword form.
Most known Resurrección give the Arrancar user an animal-like appearance. While most unreleased Shinigami Zanpakutô take the form of a katana or wakizashi, there is a significantly broader range for Arrancar (such as a sai, axe, a more distinguished weapon like Nnoitra's Zanpakutô, or a body, whole or otherwise, like Aaroniero Arruruerie's Zanpakutô, or Lilynette Gingerbuck).
Because their powers are sealed in their Zanpakutô, an Arrancar's release will usually transform their body into a Hollow-like form, allowing them to use all of their abilities freely. This form usually reflects what the Arrancar looked like before becoming Arrancar, although to highly varying degrees. A Resurrección restores an Arrancar to its "true" form, resulting in significantly various increases in speed, strength, stamina, durability and spiritual power, as well as allowing access to both more powerful variations of previous techniques and completely new abilities. Some Arrancar even gain new weapons as a part of their released form.
Anatta gains a second blade upon her release. Physically, the change is limited. Scales spread down her body, starting from the lotus-shaped remanent on her forehead which becomes gold upon her release. Limbs elongate just slightly upon release, aking her a bit taller altogether. A tail is also formed upon the release, the tail is also covered in bone scaling which runs up her spine and along major bones.
Segunda Etapa:
'Enróllate, Ananta-Shesha.'[/i]
A second level of Resurrecion, allowing the user to reach another higher level of power, to obtain the true power they once had while a Hollow. For Anatta, this means a complete transition into a Naga, including the loss of legs in exchange for a tail. Instead of her tail simply ending or forming a rattle, a bell forms at the end of her tail. It's ringing can cause a sense of calmness to be felt by those who hear it, potentially luring them into a false sense of security and peacefulness. The lotus shaped remanant on her forehead giving way and creating crown which is formed upon releasing the second step being unleashed. Her messy white hair shifts and wraps up tightly forming various snakes which seem to move of their own volition, often moving behind and remaining hidden by the crown. She becomes more snake-like in this state in that she can also unhinge her jaw and her teeth have all taken a far more pointed and fang-like appearance.
Her skin, or that which is not covered by scale-like hollow remnants, becomes a pale green color and glistens similarly to scales.
She loses her weapons in this state.
Venomous: As she unleashes her powers through Resurrecion, Anatta takes on more snake-like qualities, including having a venomous strike. Like cobras, she is capable of spitting poison a distance and transferring it through bite even.
Treatment and Symptoms for Poison
Weapons:
Unreleased form, she has a single, and rather worn looking, scimitar. The handle is ornate and shows a snake (instead of typical lions shown on persian swords) and the guard itself is just the tongue of the snake. A bell is tied onto the handle, which jingles with an oddly calming chime.
When released, she gains a second sword and both have white blades. These weapons are coated in the same venom which Anatta produces in her released forms. The weapons can be conjoined at the hilts.
History:
Anatta was born to a family of mixed beliefs and during the time of the first strong push and growth of Buddhism in India, conflict between the two and their disagreements often leading to those following the beliefs of Buddhism being persecuted by those in position of power who were believers in Hinduism. Her mother, who had turned to the teachings of the prophet suffered as a result of the conflicting religions which left Anatta and her father, who did his best to keep quiet his desire to follow the teachings of the prophet, The Buddha, alone.
Anatta and her father lived peacefully and had a fairly normal life. Their small home though in Rajgir would be put on the map though due to the first council being held in a cave of their village. The gathering of the five hundred monks allowed Anatta to learn more and understand further what her father kept quiet still (despite a growing annoyed acceptance). She was exposed to the full teachings of Buddha during the first council, which ultimately led her to asking to travel with the monks - to continue to learn from them.
The monks allowed her to travel with them and learn from them. Eventually, in hopes of thanking them, Anatta left them early in the morning to find food to give as alms to the monks. However, she would never be able to return to the monks who had taken her in and taught her. Instead, she would be killed while she waited for the ferry for the river to return so she could return to the monks with food gathered. While her body would be carried away by the river's watrs, so uncared for and discarded by those who sought only to take the food she gathered, Anatta remained on the bank of the river - always waiting for the ferry to come and go.
She lingered, existing as a bound soul, chained to the river bank, bound by her guilt, frustrations, and her feeling of incompleteness - of a life unfulfilled. And every time the ferry she waited for when she was killed would push off, the pole would be shoved into her chest, striking the chain which bound her. It was an agonizing existance. Day in and day out, on top of the natural encroachment which occured, her Chain of Fate would be struck, jabbed, and sometimes the pole would be left in her chest over night. Eventually though, through the encroachment and the striking of the chain, she was freed from her pain when the chain broke. However, Anatta was doomed to return though in a different form.
A shriek in the night went unheard by most living beings as the Hollow was born and took to swimming the rivers. As a hollow, she swam through rivers connected to each other, hunting down linging pluses and devouring them. But with the passing of centuries, and souls of humans being devoured, they became unsatisfactory. The Menos then turned to other hollows to satisfy its needs.
The bell upon the end of her tail served most usful, luring other hollows into a false sense of security while she would lie in wait in white sands. And when they came close enough, they would be met with the strike of the snake. Fangs would pierce the body of the prey and let the venom sink into the lesser hollows, and she would drag on the fights until they fell victim to her venom at which point they would be devoured.
But the bell upon her tail still served her, even when lost in the confusion of the Gillian state with hundreds of other hollows fighting for control, fighting for the power they all had. A stroke of the bell, and a calm would be restored. A peace was brought to the minds of them all, able to unite them as one - leaving her in a position to take control. The other voices able to withstand the temptation of the bell were cut out and silenced and thus did the hollow continue to grow.
And continue to dine. To keep its form, it's individual will and mind, it continued to feast upon hollow after hollow to fill its hunger. Adjuchas became the new targets and were hunted down when gillians seemed to no longer satisfy the snake's hunger. Years of fighting, resting and hiding, years of eating and devouring to satisfy its hunger though came to its final step though. Mostly humanoid shape was returned to Anatta as she progressed to become a Vasto Lorde. Time spent in the shell of the hollow and spent in the dark realm of the hollows had left the woman pale in color, a tint of green stained her skin. Eyes had become red, matching what they used to glow behind the hollow mask. Her hair had lost its color entirely.
It was not until out of frustrations and feeling lost though that she reached up with her returned hands and stripped herself of the crown left atop her head from when she was the lowly menos. Thus was the arrancar born in the desert of Hueco Mundo.
