[Maya]

Maya has been admiring the AIOC Studios from afar since it first announced its opening. No, the vampire didn't care about being a movie star, TV star and she certainly didn't care to be a Radio star where no one would be able to see her face. However, there was one thing the vampiress had always wanted to be, one thing she considered herself an expert at. Singing. She had sang for as long as she could remember, singing songs of joy while killing countless of innocent people. And even when she didn't have the people to slaughter she always had the music. Yes, music was her first love and she was feeling rather loving tonight.

Another woman was scheduled to meet with the people at AIOC Studios in hopes to begin their career as a famous singer. Someone that the people there have yet to see and was only referenced through her agents. It was all too easy to track down the agents and bleed them dry and even easier to track down the singer herself and claim her life, storing away her memories and assuming her identity. Maya entered the sound studios inside the building, green eyes looking around the place as she waited for someone to greet her. Waited for the catalyst to her rise to super stardom.

[Ayen]

The room, like everything in Kari, was large and extremely high-tech, home to various computers, monitors, and people working on them to ensure that each sound was absolutely perfect even if the voice itself wasn't. To Maya's right was a door that led into the sound room itself where artists recorded their music to be edited by the people behind the glass. The door behind her opened up and David Spense came in grabbing the woman's attention while shutting the door behind him.

“Hello!”

He walked around to the front of the brunette, looking her up and down and then checking his digital clipboard to see who he was meeting with today.

“You must be Adel. Pleasure.”

David extended his hand to shake the woman's before continuing.

“Everything is all set for you to begin just go right on in there and show us what you got. Any questions?”

[Maya]

"Hello."

Maya accepted the hand and smiled towards the director, her eyes lingering over him for a moment before being shown the sound room and walking towards the door.

"Gladly."

Maya pushed the door opened and then went over to the microphone at the middle of the room, adjusting it to match her height and then putting on the headphones nearby as she began to sing the first song she ever sang in Genesis.

"Gone in a second, ultimate destruction!

Welcome to the abyss."

Maya wrapped her hands around the microphone, holding the tip of it close to her lips but not too close to mess up her voice while she glanced towards the glass window every now and again as she continued:

"Backwater town where nothing happens

Evil is coming from everywhere
Destroying all that we believe is good."

Maya closed her eyes enjoying the sound of her own voice as she was confident she was impressing the people in the other room, already picturing herself underneath bright lights and on stage in front of a crowd of millions while nailing each verse she had memorized by heart for the longest time.

"My mother's ghost still haunts me now

Maya opened her eyes in order to look at David from behind the glass.

[Ayen]

“Give me a sound to work with, people.”

Deeeeee!

“What was that?”

Duhhhhhh

“Terrible!”

“Seriously? Are you being serious right now?”

This continued on until this sound reached his ear to match with the lyrics being sang by Adel in the sound room.

“That! That! Whatever you're doing keep doing that!”

When Adel opened her eyes to look over to David she would see a thumbs up in view to let her know everything was great.

“When this is finished I want it playing on every radio in the city.”

[Maya]

Maya smiled when she saw the thumbs up by David and continued to pour her soul, or the lack thereof, into the microphone.

"Gone in a second, ultimate destruction!

Maya picked up the microphone and started to spin with it in her hands with the microphone pointed downward and away like one would hold a scythe and then bent over to continue singing into the microphone up top.

"Gone in a second, ultimate destruction!

Welcome to the End! To the abyss... "

[Ayen]

David pulled out his cellphone and began to dial upper management. He held the phone up to his ear, his eyes watching Maya admiring her from behind the glass before the ringing grabbed his attention and then the voice on the other line.

“Yes, it's me. Remember that new sound you were looking for? Get a load of this!”

David moved the cellphone from his ear and over to the playback of Maya's singing voice, background music and all.

[Maya]

"All gods will live and so it will be...
Alpha Omega, an end thou shall see..."

Maya finished her spin and brought the microphone back upright against the floor to wrap up her song.

"Gone in a second! gods are warring!

Gone in a second, ultimate destruction!
Gods are warring, sorrow never ending!

Welcome to the End! To the abyss..."

The recording stopped and Maya returned to the other room where David and the rest were.

"How was I?"

[Ayen]

"How was I?"

“Perfect! Get that song playing on every radio station right now!”

The others went to work forwarding the song to every Radio DJ currently working in the city while David walked over to Maya.

“You have it all; the youth, the beauty, the voice and you're sexy. How would you like to record your own album and perform live at the Kari arena? But first, we need to make a music video to go with that fantastic song! You game?”

[Maya]

Maya was pleased to hear that her song was already recorded and ready to be played, and she was also pleased to hear the offers already being presented. It didn't come as a surprise to her with her ego, she would have thought them fools not to see the talent that was knocking on their door, but it was always nice to hear others confirm what you already knew about yourself. If just to hear it in another person's voice every now and again. Maya's lips curved into a small, sly and somewhat seductive smile at David's question.

"Definitely."

[Ayen]

"Definitely."

“Excellent. Right this way.”

David opened the exit door and led Maya out of the room and down the white hallway, stopping at the black door down at the end on the right and opening it to reveal one of the many different recording studios. This one had a blue screen, a camera and several chairs already in place in front of it.

“We already have the song recorded so all you really have to do is to lip sync. Any questions before we begin? Do you need anything?”

[Maya]

Maya followed David into the blue screening room and looked around with little interest at the equipment before she was asked if she had any questions and everything she needed.

"I have one. Where's my dressing room?"

[Ayen]

"I have one. Where's my dressing room?"

“Right over there.”

David pointed to the right of the set where a black door was located leading to a large dressing room with plenty of different clothes to choose from, several seats, tables, couches and a mirror for hair and make-up.

“Take all the time you need – remember, you're the star and we are humbled to be in your presence.”

[Maya]

Maya looked over to where David pointed and frowned as her name wasn't already on the door.

"I don't see my name on it. You need to fix that."

Maya walked over to her dressing room and went inside. It was average at best but would do her for now as she looked through the dresses left behind. The vampire didn't feel she needed a wardrobe change, she wanted to see what was there before exploring the rest of the dressing room. Maya added a beautiful white necklace, several rings with expensive diamonds on top of it and a bracelet before coming back out of the dressing room.

"I'm ready."

[Ayen]

"I don't see my name on it. You need to fix that."[

“We'll get right on that.”

David watched Maya enter her dressing room while he grabbed his cell and began calling the people who put people names on their dressing room doors before getting everybody else in the room to their places by the time the star came out of her dressing room, not wearing anything different other than the sudden increase in jewelry.

"I'm ready."

“Just stand over here.”

David escorted Maya to the center of the blue screen where all eyes were now on her.

“I'm thinking at the beginning of the video we take shots of a small town where people are just doing ordinary things and then – all of a sudden – a black cloud is seen outside the city's limits getting closer, and closer, and closer until it finally reveals itself as a hideous monster that attacks the city and then the music hits and we cut to you in the center of the destruction with rain falling down on your head. Thoughts?”

[Maya]

"You're going to do all of that with a little blue screen?"
