Arrival in a strange town (Open)

[Xukas]

Blackness fills his vision, the lush fields of Gaia was the last thing he remembered before the blackness engulfed his vision.

The sounds of cranes and the creaking metal of ship hulls fills his ears, causing him to open his eyes. It takes awhile for the blurriness to clear. "Wha ..., what the heck?" he slowly looks around, it seemed he was on a pile of destroyed crates, as if he had been dropped from a height. Slowly shaking himself off Xukas gets to his feet, taking a moment to gain balance.

Shifting his weight on shaky feet Xukas checks his attire which consisted of a brown leather vest, black jeans with a woven fabric belt of the same color, on his back was a black bladed broadsword, nearly the same height as he, it was attached via a partial sheath that attached to his body with a leather strap that went over his right shoulder and came around underneath his chest on the left side.

Looking at this creature it was plainly clear it was not human, he looked like some combination of a feline and human, which at a genetic level was exactly what he has.

His body was entirely covered in short to medium length ocean blue colored fur, his hands looked more like paws than actual hands, his feet looked similar to a humans except the toes were close together like a feline. A lengthy tail ending in a black tuft, swayed from side to side behind him.
Staring out with aqua eyes the creature looks for trouble before making for a exit.
Looking around outside the door, he frowns a bit "Just where the heck am, I?"

[Ira]

The healer stood near the docks, staring out towards the ocean. It was only the third time she had seen the ocean despite all of the trips she made while working with the Jedi. She wrapped her arms around herself, rubbing her hands up to her shoulder and down to her elbows. She just needed time to meditate and relax again. Recenter herself. Move on from her attachments she had made back there. She needed to focus again. A purpose needed to be found.

Sure. To help and protect. But how did one help and protect when they were not too sure about anything?

Movement caught Wakanda's eye. She turned her gaze upon the blue feline creature. She fought the instincts to immediately have a strong dislike of the thing due to it being a cat -akul still left a bad taste in her mouth after all this time. There was no need to subject this puzzled being to such a thing, they hardly would deserve such a judgement. After all, she had been taught to not do such a thing.

"You look confused." She called to him, her voice soft. Her Force aura accompanied her words though, the warming and gentle touch of a breeze passing over the blue fur of the feline.

[Xukas]

Drawing his sword at the sudden voice, he points the blade towards the source, while a pale blue energy surrounded the feline. Pausing for a moment he feels a unusual energy course over him, conflicting with his own energy. The energy was a bit soothing, enough to have let him calm down a bit. He lowers his sword, but does not sheath it yet, in case this being was a foe. His whiskers twitch as he sniffs the air, while his ears swivel around trying to determine if there was anyone else around. After a few moments he relaxes a bit and the energy subsides.

"Yeah, you could say that..." He says in a cautious tone "Where am I?" He asks, hoping this being would know what happened.

[Ira]

Just a few words and she already had a weapon pointed towards her. That was rather...Disappointing. Couldn't say she was too terribly surprised though. Hopefully it was simply a reaction to being frightened due to being lost and confused. She would be able to pass it off a bit easier. However, despite the weapon being pointed at her, the togruta hardly moved or flinched. She simply blinked.

Finally, she tilted her head. The energy about him was odd. No matter. Odd happened a great deal around here due to her not being used to these varying energies; Sure, in her opinion they were were all related to the Force, but none of them would listen to such nonsense. Wakanda turned her gaze back towards the water. Her aura fluttered about still as she watched the water.

"Hallowton." Wakanda answered simply enough, unsure if this person was potentially from this place or not. There was no need to potentially insult someone by attempting to further explain the things she hardly understood herself.

Something seemed to cross her mind again though as she turned blue eyes back towards the feline; "I am sorry. I should have offered before; are you hurt? Need help? I may help ef you are hurt."

[Xukas]

Feeling a bit more at ease, the feline relaxes his stance before raising his sword again, only this time he placed it back into it's sheath. Exhaling slowly he tries to digest that bit of information "Hallowton?..., where the heck is that?" His brow furrows as he tries to remember exactly what happened, but as before his mind came up blank.

Looking at the being before him he knew that he wasn't on Gaia anymore. "Well guess it is safe to assume I'm not on Gaia anymore, never saw any being like yourself on my world." Quickly giving himself a look over he the shakes his head "I'm ok, just a few scrapes, nothing that requires medical aid." He says in reply to her question if he was injured.

He would usually be pretty hostile to someone he has no idea about, but his instincts said that she was not a threat "Forgive me for asking, but what was that energy you were using?, I've never felt anything like it before."

[Ira]

"Different dimenshin, es where et es. People pulled from places to this planet. That es as much as I know. I no know much more. Like you, I am lost. This es no my home," Wakanda explained, watching the feline put his weapon away. At least he had enough sense to do that, she supposed. She closed her eyes and gave a nod as he said he was not injured beyond rather minor things.

However, at his question, Wakanda raised a brow. Seemed everyone picked up on it. And why shouldn't they? They were all conneted to the Force, even if they realized realized it or not. "We call et The Force, where I am from." She turned her gaze towards him though without turning to face him fully.

"Et es flowing energy. Connects all life forms. I am a Jedi. Where I am from, es a word for people who use the Force to protect and defend. To help people."

[Xukas]

Scratching his chin he ponders on that bit of info "Sounds similar to the lifestream back on Gaia, it allowed some to wield a power called spirit energy, but that only seemed to work with natural born beings. Others had to harness the power manually with Materia." He was unsure why he was having a conversation with a total stranger but figured it would not do any harm.

Exhaling softly his ears twitch to the sounds around the dock, his hearing being above normal picked up all sorts of noises from across the dock area, but nothing that would signal that there was hostile parties near, at least what he thought was hostile but playing safe he kept a good dose of Primal energy on stanby, in case anything was to happen. "Here I am, forgetting my manners, my name is Xukas" He says in a slightly embarrassed tone, he had taught himself manners and here he was forgetting them in the presence of a non-hostile being.

[Ira]

Wakanda gave a nod as Xukas spoke, explaining the lifestream. Made sense. Again, another understanding of the Force, as far as she was concerned. Maybe she needed to spend more time studying these variations of, what she thought was, the Force.

"I am Wakanda Mongwau-Sanuye, Master Healer of the Jedi of Coruscant." Such a long title. But she was so used to saying it. She finally fully turned away from the water and seemed to be starting back towards Hallowton. She paused for a moment though.

"I...I would say to no stay here too long though. People are sick here. Much violence here too. I have job to do for people here, so I remain. But ef no have such uh...Ob..Obli-... Obligashins to this place, I would no stay here. Ef you want to help, yes, more than welcome to help. But to just live, no. I would no stay here."

[Xukas]

Xukas listens to her introduction 'Must be normal for a longer introduction where she is from' He thinks to himself, as her gaze turns back to the city he too looks in that direction.

Hearing that this place was not the friendliest location, he lets out a soft huff of air 'Not surprised I end up in a nasty place...' He thinks. Xukas's gaze turns to Wakanda. Giving a shrug he replies in a casual tone "Well, I've been in some pretty nasty places in my time, so this is nothing new." Rubbing his chin, Xukas gives a final nod before walking towards Wakanda "Guess I should at least check this place out, and you do seem to know this place better than I..., Besides, I may beable to help some of the innocents."

[Ira]

Wakanda shook her head. "I no know much. No es just violence, es more. People are sick here. Very sick." Wakanda paused for a moment, throwing a glance towards Xukas then turning her eyes back towards Hallowton. She shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I can no stop you from following the path you wish to walk. Et es own choice, I given warning to let you make choice." She rubbed the back of her neck with one hand, rubbing an eye with the other. She decided not to being lecturing about caution concerning the term innocents. Wasn't her place to go on a rant concerning that, this was no padawan of her's.

[Xukas]

Giving a slow nod, Xukas looks out towards the city. Giving a sigh he could feel the sheer amount of vile energy that seemed to seep out of some of the areas "I can feel alot of vile energy seeping from some parts of this city, this is most odd for a civilised area..." He frowns with closed eyes as he feels out some of the other energies mixed in. After a short while his eyes open again "But in all the darkness, I can still pick up traces of light, traces of pure energy can be felt, fighting against the dark."

Looking ahead he wonders where to begin his exploration, and whether he was able to help at all, but he had to be careful. Giving a slight shudder he knew that if he was not too careful he'd loose himself in the vile energy. Looking back at Wakanda he shrugs "Where to begin?, I guess." He was unsure if he would encounter anyone else this night.
