The flight across the vast sea between Elim and the main continent, what he had learned was called Jherra, had been long, and uneventful. A good thing for the dragon as he didn't want any form of panic from him being seen any time soon. This would be his first time visiting this continent, and everyone running in fear of a giant beast was not a good first contact. The question was which city would he visit first?
He had just picked on from what he had been told existed here, omitting some of the others from what Aran had told him about them. He needed a little more accurate information. He would start with one of the more benign sounding cities, Hallowton. It sounded like a place to start.
Thus why he found himself there now at this time, moving through the streets at a late afternoon, early evening time frame by the sun's location. It had been easy to get into the city, another reason why he had chosen the place as it wasn't as heavily guarded, or they were much easier to get by. A simple invisibility spell, and sprouting his wings to get over the walls unseen and he was in to explore.
This city did not seem as advanced as Xanarnis had been, or what Aran had said Kari or Isafaro had been. But much more to what he was used to, a good place where he could get a feeling for this continent, and the current events. After just an hour in the city, he had learned that some big events had been happening in this city, one of the agencies that protected it, Hellsing had apparently been having problems. At least from what he knew so far it has seemed to quiet down. But he had no idea really yet. This wasn't his home like the mountains, so he didn't know what was really going on here.
Didn't matter much to him really as long as he could learn what he needed, or if there was any interesting knowledge to learn here. But first he would need to find somewhere to ear. He had only had a single deer the night before after the long flight over the ocean. So he would look for some form of decent restaurant.
As he moved through the street though something odd caught his attention, first on sight, a strange creature wearing plain looking brown and light tan robes. She looked humanoid, as she walked on two feet, and that was where the comparison to a human or even elf ended. Her skin was read like some breeds of demons, though she seemed to have random white marks along her skin, and surrounding her eyes. Instead of hair seemed to be... well, he wasn't sure what to call what was on her head but it was white with black marks, going behind her like a pair of tails, and what looked like black tipped horns on her head. Around the said... whatever it was... she seemed to wear some form of jewelry, and Helios crushed the thought of 'shiny' that ran through his mind.
He had only been here maybe an hour and he has already found something surprising already. But more than her demon-like appearance as he got closer, he felt the aura of power that seemed to flow from her. Upon feeling that, he pushed his Magic aura down as much as possible to feel more like a bonfire than a raging inferno. He had no idea if she could feel his aura, but he was taking no chances, he didn't want to be recognized as the dangerous beast that Dragons were. Especially with how her power felt, like a powerful noble mage. They almost always attached dragons on sight as evil creatures.
Instead, he watched her from behind the glasses that his burning reptilian eyes as he moved. Watching her for any reaction to him being within 100 meters of her. Debating if he should approach her to satisfy his curiosity for what she was, or do the smart thing and avoid her and move along to find somewhere to eat. It depended on if there was a reaction to him being near or not. It was a good thing he was wearing his plain brown long sleeved shirt and pants with the red and gold trim and embroidery. If he stood out it was only because he didn't look like he belonged in the time period of this city. He did wear a red sash around his waist that carried the pouch that let him access his hoard.

Wakanda had taken to wandering about as she usually did but this time with a book in hand. Books were apprently not so...Rare or treated as such prized items as they were in the archives on Coruscant. But no matter. Her attention was locked onto the one she held in her hands. A basic history of the place, nothing more. But it was enough to have her attention. If only they had it in comic book form though, it would be so much more entertaining. Despite her nose being stuck in the book she was able to manuever her way about without issue.
She stepped to the side to avoid running into the people at what seemed to be the last second, but it was done with grace, not rushed or seemingly out of line. Or, sometimes she would not have to move. An ever so gentle touch of the Force was enough to encourage others to step out of her way as she moved about Hallowton, lost in her own mind and the book in her hands. There was a certain point though that she did glance up from her book and look about. Something was here. Something with a fairly strong presence.
Her eyes moved down to her book again and while her gaze was fixed upon the pages of text, her aura expanded rapidly. It brushed passed people like a tickling flutter of wings, toying with their hair and clothing like a playfully warming spring breeze passing by them as she attempted to find the source. She was simply curious. She had met and seen people who possessed strange skills, even in her own opinion, here. Why not be curious about what else could be found here?
Her walk came to a brief pause as she closed her eyes for a moment, almost seeming as if she were deep in thought about the last sentence or two she had just read. For this time though she simply gazed through the Force at the one who had caught her attention. She could tell where they were from finding them through the Force. But, to see the light or the dark, she could not. While they were seemingly a pool of energies they were not of the Force, which was seemingly becoming the usual about here.
A slight disappointment though. No matter. Wakanda let out a breath and opened her eyes once more, her attention returning to the book. They did not seem to have malicious intent. No need to worry about it for the time being.

At first it appeared that the strange creature didn't take any notice of him. That was a bit disappointing. An unknown aura of power, and she couldn't... Helios watched as the strange creature looked up from the book she was reading. Apparently she wasn't as blind as he was beginning to think. But beyond looking up, it didn't appear that she was doing much else.
That was until he felt her power, whatever it was, fluttering over the edges of his contained and controlled aura of power. He had to contain it even more to not make it feel like he was trying to burn her power. It was impossible to not notice the physical effects of her power on the people around them either, a shifting of their lose clothing, or hair when there wasn't any wind to cause it. He even felt it on his own body when her aura brushed by him, and moved through his long golden blonde hair of this human form. Noone but him seemed to notice it.
He did notice her seeming to stop and close her eyes, and he got the feeling it was a good idea that he had contained his aura. But she didn't seem to do much more than that moment of study before moving on. That was a little disappointing... but his curiosity has been piqued by her, she was something he had never seen, and her power was something he had never encountered. Helios started moving again, turing around from where he had been walking and paralleling her path.
The question he was asking himself at that moment though was whether he should talk with this odd creature, or just continue on looking for a meal, and then the nearest library. What was the chance to meet another interesting creature like this one?
Curiosity one as he continued to parallel her path, watching as she seemed to not pay attention to where she was going, and yet did not walk into anyone or any thing. Even with his attention on this red creature, Helios also did not run into anyone, or when someone didn't move fast enough, they had little impact on him, as if they meant nothing to him and they walked into an immovable object. Most seemed to move out of the way though instinctively, avoiding a deadly predator even if they intellectually didn't know he was one.

It still remained near. How strange. The gentle warm breeze lingered still as she had not withdrawn her aura. Blue eyes shifted slightly as she glanced across the way. Was he watching her? How strange, but still no malicious intent seemed present. Her eyes flicked back towards the words on the page, noting the page number in specific. Not like she would be able to retain what she was reading now that she was slightly distracted.
She halted suddenly, children running in front of her and around with a ball being bounced about. Wakanda continued along her way once they had moved from her path. A misguided bounce sent the ball her way though. She merely raised her hand and the ball was caught in midair, suspended by nothing and merely floated, before it hit her back. With the slightest wave of her hand, it was delivered to the children's feet gently.
But no matter about that. Children would be children. Why was this one in particular following her though? Words carried on the wind, seemingly whispered though her white lips did not move.
'Why do you follow and watch?'

As Helios followed, he could still feel the breeze like caress of her aura against his own contained inferno of power. She knew he was following her, that much he could tell. It allowed him to observe her actions with the slight turn to see him, and then more importantly the actions with the children. This creature had patience as she waited for them to move their playing away from her path before continuing.
One thing he had been hoping to see had occurred, the children's play-ball had gotten away from them towards this creature. He watched as she stopped it it mid air with just a raise of her hand. Telekenesis. That he knew about as he had seen magic do similar things. But that couldn't be the extent of her power, her aura felt much larger than that. If that was all she could do, he would lose interest rather quickly.
Not long after, Helios heard the voice whispered to him through the winds, he had not seen her lips move. He grinned a little before moving his fingers up to his neck and muttering a small spell. There was a small spike in his aura as the magic reached out towards her, but carried no harm, and very little power with it, barely a fraction of even his suppressed power. He replied, his own voice sounding like a whisper, but his lips were not still like hers. The spell projected his whispered voice to her. As he spoke he leaned against the nearest building.
“Simple. Curiosity. You are an odd creature, and something I have never seen in all the time I have been alive. And I am from a world where magic gives birth to many amazing things.” the way he spoke made him sound old, yet he looks as if he was half the Jedi's age.

Her eyes still studied the book as she moved, despite the fact that he had stopped moving. She was simply beginning to make her way towards him, but in a rather round about manner, yet done to not draw attention. She continued along with the group of people, making her way to the crossing and passing through it with the other people. Simple enough of a task to do.
'Not the first time I hear this.' Again, her words seemed to carry on the wind while her lips remained motionless. 'Your home sounds like mine; The Force es called The Magic too by the ones who no know.
What I am es simple enough. Togruta. Es like person, just with little difference.'[/i] Finally, she drew close enough to him to feel comfortable speaking at a normal volume. Before she spoke though, she lowered her book and closed it on her thumb to hold the page. "Ef you have quesshins, es okay to simply ask. To follow like you do, es no always appreshiated or so easily of the acceptance."

“The way you say The Force, makes it sound like it is actually some form of power. It does not exist in the world I am from.” He replied, watching as she approached. This 'Force' was something that had never been felt by him in his world anyway after all his long years. “But then it is obvious it exists in you. Your aura of power is something I have never felt before. Different from Magic that I know.” Thus what sparked his curiosity about this woman. More than what she was.
That didn't mean he wasn't curious about what her species is. But she answered that as she got closer, though it meant nothing to him. She was something new to him and was holding his attention. “I assume most of the difference between you, a Togruta, and a person is mostly just appearance?” that didn't apply to him usually. He was more of what his race was considered, a beast, when he needed to be.
When she was close enough he didn't need the voice projection, he reached up to his neck and dispelled the small spell he had used. He smiled a little at it being stated that he probably should follow like that. “If you didn't notice me, then I would have lost interest in you no matter how unknown your power. Beyond that, I don't care what people think about what I do.” he said with a light smile, and a shrug. “But I do have a question. Beyond your species, What are you?”

Wakanda shook her head slightly. He had missed what she meant concerning about following people. Then again, perhaps his home lacked people willing to put a saber to someone's throat for simply accidently meandering after someone. Then again, Mobius and Ira were a bit off their rocker. She scratched the tip of her nose before turning and leaning her back against the building as well, standing next to the man. Eventually though, she ended up simply crouching with her back against the wall.
"Appearance and func-shin. We no have the ears, montrals enstead." Wakanda explained pointing at the 'horns' atop her head. "Hallow. Used for hearing better than human. And headtails, used to talk." At her last sentence, she rested a hand against one of her headtails. The explanation was not a full one, but it was good enough at least.
"But to ask someone what they are es highly...Personal." She sighed softly as she stared upwards.
"I am a mother, a healer, a shaman. I am also, perhaps most emportantly, a Jedi. Time for more questions. She already knew what was coming.

The shake of the head was hard to miss. What had he said to get that reaction. Maybe it was the fact that he had been following her and he didn't seem to car much about what she thought. There was something he remembered now that it was coming up. Two legged races didn't like being followed, made them think that they were being hunted maybe?
When he heard about the differences, the function of her difference in appearance. That did sound pretty interesting, if a little lacking from what he usually liked. But not exactly what he has asked either. “Not exactly what I meant, but something interesting to learn nonetheless. I meant you are no different than another person, even if your body looks different, or different physical function to certain parts.” He meant she had a soul, she cared about her own morels and code, even if not completely inline with everyone else.
At the answer to his second question, he matched her sigh with a roll of his eyes. “That all wasn't exactly what I had asked, but does explain your Aura. Shaman, healer, they explain the Noble and holy seeming feel to your Aura. The third one, a Jedi. I do not recognize. Does that have something to do with this Force you are talking about?” he asked, that one seemed to grab his interest the most and he turned his head to listen to her more on that, he ignored the mother part of her answer. He seemed to have no problem understanding her odd accent.
Helios paused in his questions a moment, slowing himself, and looking down a moment. “Sorry for the insistent questions. You are something new to me. I enjoy learning about anything I have not seen or encountered before. If you want, you can ask questions back if you chose. It is only fair.”

"Then be more specific en asking quesshins. Else I answer them how I think I hear quesshin," Wakanda said with a sigh. She disliked people asking questions but not the questions they meant to ask.
"Not all things are fair. I accept this. I have no quesshins to ask. Ef I do, maybe. But now? No. No quesshins." She took a moment to collect her thoughts before speaking once again, closing her eyes. "No, we are no different from people. Feel same things, have emoshins, just like him or her." She pointed at individuals matching the gender she said while keeping her eyes closed.
"But before I answer quesshin of Force and Jedi, what es et you meant then? You asked what I was, those are the things which make me, they are what I am. But ef no meaning that answer, what es et you mean?"

Helios just shrugged a bit. He doesn't usually seem to get answers like these for his questions. Never usually having to be more specific than he was. This woman was more intelligent than most he has to talk to. “I will have to think about my questions a little more then. Though you did answer a question or two that i was likely to have later so it works anyway.”
He accepted her reply, she had no questions about him. That proved that he was hiding what he truly was better than he thought, and had suppressed his power to make it not draw much attention. Or it just meant this woman didn't have as much curiosity. Though Helios hasn't done much to make someone curious other than apparently making some basic questions confusing. It was probably a good thing he was hiding so much from someone who could see so much. He did not reply much other than nod .
“That answered that question about what you are. A Jedi. But that title means nothing to me. What is a Jedi? And the same thing about the Force. What is the Force?...” he paused thinking about that second question a moment. “Actually, probably best not to answer that one. If the answer would be anything like the answer to the question 'What is Magic' then there would be no simple answer. It would likely need a much longer discussion. Standing in the street would not be somewhere for a discussion like that.”

"Anywhere es a good place to discuss. I say maybe no en fight, but, et happen sometime." Again, she scratched the tip of her noes as she thought about it. Yeah, trying to talk sense into people while defending yourself wasn't always the best thing to be trying to do.
"Answering what Force es, es easy. Ef one es open to listen and think on et. Es energy all about, espanding constantly. Creashin of everything, and to et we return when we die. Present en everything, and et ties us together. Even ef no can feel or see et, et es there, flowing through you and me like et does an ant." Wakanda nodded slightly. Yeah, that was a pretty basic answer of what the Force was and easy enough to understand.
"The Jedi es bit more difficult to esplain. Es way of life with Force. Peace and balance, to flow with Force. Way of life encourage no letting emoshins cloud thought, to handle things en peaceful manner. Protect those who no can protect selves from harm or wrong. Jedi are protectors of people, peace, and to estent, balance.
A balance I feel es skewed greatly here. Force quivers and shakes." Wakanda let her gaze drop back towards the ground. It bothered her a little bit that scales seemed to be heavily tilted towards the Dark Side right now. That only meant terrible things were to come soon enough in her opinion.

“True, but out in the middle of a street is not always the best place for a conversation if one wishes to gain more knowledge.” Helios said, not really moving from his position, but noticing that again she seemed to touch her nose. Was that a nervous twitch or something when she was thinking? Or just a nervous action? Didn't matter though, just something to add.
Her answer about what the force was made sense to the point that is was real. He could feel the energy from her, but he could not feel the energy in himself. “Interesting concept... this Force, does sound similar to the Magic I am used to, but different also.” was his only reply to her answer, and giving him a bit of time to think about it. From what he had seen her do so far, it looked like this Force affected the physical reality more than anything else. Magic as he knew it seemed to be on a different level.
Though her explanation of what a 'Jedi' was made him glad he was hiding what he was. Noble knights from his world tried to hunt down and kill dragons. To protect others... thought it didn't help that some dragons gave them a reason to, didn't help that they usually targeted dragons who were innocent of the crimes, but they were easier to kill. He couldn't suppress the low growl that came from him at those thoughts. It didn't sound like something that would come from a human at all. At least it was quiet enough that most of the people here couldn't hear it.
“So a noble guardian then. Sounds like there would be a code with something like that. At least it sounds like you don't let your emotions rule you.” he could at least talk her out of the mistake of trying to kill him if she found out what he was.
“That balance you speak of may be wavering here because there are other powers hear to tip the scales in either direction. Powers that the concept of good and evil mean nothing. Magic like mine is one such power.” As he said that, he lifted his hand up and pulled on his magic. In his hand and around his arm, formed bright orange flames, seemingly hovering above his hand and spinning around his arm. “Your Balance may not mean much here. This world is even more odd than you.”

"Something caught en throat?" Wakanda asked as he growled, looking up towards him for a moment before looking back forward, watching people pass them by.
"Noble guardian. Have not heard et put that way. But es good way to describe et." She nodded her head ever so slightly.
"Emoshin, yet peace. Ignorance, yet knowledge. Passhin, yet serenity. Chaos, yet harmony. Death, yet the Force.
That es a code of the Jedi. The code may change from time to time, for what Order become and how event change them. Personal codes come up too. But I prefer the oldest one I give you," she explained while looking up towards the orange fire within his hand. She was not surprised, it did not show on her face at least as she watched it. She merely nodded, understanding that he did not understand what she had meant.
"Powers may not fall ento the Force for most people, or...They just no realize et. However, no matter that, there es still balance. Such es nature of things; light and dark. The balance es off because how people use things. No matter how you use et, or what you call et, the Dark Side exists. And et grow much."

Helios forced himself to stop the light growling after this woman spoke up and said something about it. It was a natural reaction to those who would usually try killing him. “No, just a reaction to ‘Noble Guardians’. They usually try to kill people like me on sight. But then they cannot seem to sense those with violent intentions over just wanting a conversation like you can.” Thus a reason he always his behind the guise of a human or Elf Mage. He listened to the code that she presented. “Sounds interesting, and I will admit, I do not understand that code exactly. At least what each would mean. But it sounds like something a person like me would ever be able to follow. If I was to ever really understand this force, and that code, I would probably need to be taught it from the beginning like you would teach your Acolytes, novices, or whatever your students , even if I would never be able to use it.” Oh, he would love to actually learn about all this even if he seemed to confuse her no matter what he said, and she returned the favor. That would not be something he would ask her to spend her time on. He doubted this woman would have the time to waste. “There wouldn't happen to be any tomes, or books of this that I could add to my library so that I could try learning about this would there?” At her words about the balance of power wavering so much to the side of evil, darkness, or dark side as she referred to it as, Helios just shrugged. He didn't seem to care about it much. “The balance is always wavering from one side of the scales to the other in my experience. Eventually good, or as you say the light side, or whatever people refer it to will gain power to overthrow the dark or Evil. There will never be a perfect balance; one cannot exist without the other. I prefer to watch it from the middle as an observer. Neither side ever seems to let me observe though; I tend to get pulled into the fight for one or the other.”
