To Q or not to Q (Open)

[Hekate]

"Anything?"

A sly smile graced the witch's features as she thought through all the favors she could ask. Her attention being swept away momentarily by the other prisoner in the dungeons.

"We have many servants. What could you offer us that we don't have already?"

Her head turned back to Q.

"Can I call on you for this favor any time I choose?"

[Sherwood the Kinda-Great]

So long as doesn't interfere too greatly with the way things work around here. I mean, I can't give you a superweapon capable of destroying the universe. That's beyond my allowed abilities. But I suppose you can. Just, again, wait until I get my powers back. I'll even give you a little communicator to contact me when you need me.
Q snapped his fingers and again, nothing happened. His smile transformed into one of frustration, pure and unadulterated.
I do have powers. I think my... associates decided to play a trick on me. The guards did see me appear as well as remove my group of background musicians, so I'm obviously not lying here for my own benefit. Just give me a bit more time.

[Hekate]

"There is no need to destroy the universe with the power I possess."

The witch said simply.

"Then go. You may remain in Elysios for as long as you wish, I will inform my guard to give you no further trouble."

Hekate snapped her fingers and the guards who had left the dungeons came back.

"Escort this man to town."

She smiled at Q again.

"I'll be seeing you."

A chuckle emerged from Q's lips when the witch snapped her fingers, a small reminder of the power he wished he had right now. Her words, however, did not give him as much a pleasant feeling. Q blinked and stared at the witch, a look of confusion and curiosity sweeping across his face. He turned away from the door and didn't move when the guards appeared at his sides.

Why are you being so charitable? A lot of rulers would have just tried to execute me. But you... are being incredibly lenient. What do you have planned?

[Hekate]

"That's for me to know and for you to find out."

Replied the witch.

"If you do get your powers back, that is. Either way I have means to find you if you try to slip out of our deal."

Q smiled knowingly. He did that often with Jean-Luc. It felt interesting to be on the receiving end of that, and he was not about to complain. The uniformed man shrugged and turned away form the queen after a small wink.

Many thanks, my queen. Take me to freedom, guards. And find me something to eat. Being human makes me hungry.
