Perhaps on an average Joe that would have worked. But fear was a powerful motivator. For all the things Q could offer him, the guard feared the Death Witch and respected the God of Light. He wouldn't betray either of them for those reasons and so he remained quiet not even looking in Q's direction.

Q frowned at the guard, displeased by the lack of reaction from the lack of response. However, he could not waste his time on such small fry. His powers would guarantee a way out, regardless of what the guards did or did not do. Q started snapping his fingers to try to get some reaction from his powers, but to no avail. There had to be some reason as to why his powers werent working. There was no inhibitions on him, nor any reason to have no power. It was as if someone just took his abilities away without making him a hu- Wait. They wouldn't. Oh ho ho that Continuum. You think that's funny?! Taking away my powers like that?! I know you can hear me! Give them back right this instant! This isn't funny! To the guards, Q was just yelling up at the ceiling angrily.

The two guards exchanged glances with one another as the prisoner began talking with himself. That didn't take long. Usually the people who were thrown in here and then survived battles in the Colosseum would start to lose their mind. This one already had a few screws loose. If he did end up in the Colosseum again they could only imagine where his mental state would be. The guards turned away from each other however as they heard the footsteps of someone approaching.

Q cried out in mock anguish, arms shaking to emphazise his desperation for his lack of powers. Despite not being incapable of doing anything, the feeling of being human-like again did not sit well for him. It wasn't so much that he craved power and conquest, but to lose what was rightfully his was completely unacceptable. I already proved myself over Bre'el Four! There's no need to continue such things! Give me my abil- The sound of footsteps interrupted his thoughts. He turned on his heel and looked quizically out the bars of his cell. Hello? Who's there? I do hope you brought the keys.

"Leave us."
Hekate's stern voice traveled through the cold dungeons walls and the two guards quickly stood down from their posts and left the dungeons leaving the Death Witch alone with a man who only went by a single letter. Dark eyes sizing him up as she stood on the other side of the bars clad in black.
"What are you? A man, a god, or some other higher being beyond mere human comprehension?"

Q looked at the woman and smirked at her. I am nothing more than an observer. Sometimes I look for some fun. Otherwise, I just observe. Who and what are you? Hm, definitely not hard on the eyes, that's for sure. But you dont seem like what those henchmen are. You seem different. A hand stuck out from the bar, open to shake. Q looked quite calm, despite his previous unhappiness with the scenario along his powers. You may call me Q. And what is your name? Surely it is as beautiful as the lady herself.

"An observer?"
Hekate allowed a smirk of her own to shine through her usual cold expression at the compliment from the stranger. Thinking what Lord Phalis would have said if he was here to hear those words. Like any good hypocrite Phalis became insanely jealous and angry whenever any other man gazed her way despite the various affairs he had with women who were less than her. Such as Zira Firestone. What great revenge it would be if someone like this was around more often.
"Hekate and I see you're already doing plenty of observing."

Q shrugged and milled about in his cell. Well, I guess you could say that. I wasn't planning on observing the interior of a jail cell, I an guarantee you that much. All I wanted was to appear in a town square and play some music for all the people to enjoy, and then once that's over just being a nice trip across this world to find out what's there. Q once again gripped the bars and look intently to Hekate. His eyes skirted across her form, not so much eying her but looking for keys. Surely you could let me go. I did nothing wrong, I just quite literally appeared at the wrong place at the wrong time. I can assure you, it won't happen again.

"There is no such thing as coincidence..... It would seem you appeared here as I did out of nowhere and thrown in a cell. I have been here for some time and am finding myself in a state of insanity. I'm no stranger to it though, Insanity visits me often." November said, leaning against the wall of the adjacent cell. His cell was darker than the rest. He was barely visible as he was also clad in black, with his black wide brimmed hat covering his face. He brought a white gloved hand to the tip and pushed it upward revealing the dim glow of his gold colored eyes.
He observed the two for sometime before moving to the bars of his cell, taking two of the bars into his hands. "I should feel honored, no one has come to visit me in quite some time..... or are you here for the newcomer?" , November asked casually to the witch. His accent was different from any anybody may have heard. It was a blend of European and Middle Eastern accents that wove into a new one. Here on Genesis, one could easily see that he was.. Other-Worldly.

"Are you looking for these?"
The Death Witch held up a set of keys and jingled them in front of Q. Still standing a far enough distance away so the man couldn't just reach out and grab them. Stuffing the keys inside her robes and down her cleavage before continuing.
"Wouldn't want you getting any bright ideas..."
Hekate's attention was then taken away for a moment as she glanced in November's direction.
"Who are you?"

Q reached out to grab them, a look of desire and longing across his face. His fingers only snatched air in place of the keys he wanted. Oh, don't tease me like that, stuffing them away in your secret pocket betwixt your bosom! I'm as harmless as any other jailed human right now. I have no desire to hurt you either! I just want to be free as a bird! Q's eyes followed the woman's to the new voice. Q pushed his head into the bars to try to get a better look. Oh so now you speak up and say something. It's not like I wasn't here for a while. We could've had some decent conversation and not sound like a raving lunatic while I wait for my powers to come back.

"Over the centuries I have been called many things. I am best known as November, or perhaps Frost. You may call me whichever.", November said with a slight smile. The smile mainly came from his amusement. He chuckled then laughed for a brief time before becoming more serious. Well, semi serious. His cocky smile still was visible on his face.
"Forgive me, for I was amused by your rants. Amusement doesn't come often here you understand." , he said to the man before turning his attention to the woman. Something was strange about her. Of course! She was immortal... she had the essence of one. "Allow me a question Miss... are you a Goddess? What I sense from you is eerily similar if not exactly the same as one."

"In a manner of speaking."
Replied the Death Witch to November before drawing the keys from her bosom and inserting them into Q's lock. Turning and pulling the cage door open allowing the man his freedom. A rare sight to see from the witch as she would normally leave people to rot in such a place.
"You're free to go and most welcome to join me back at the palace for a grand feast. My husband should be returning home before too long."

Q stared at her hand as she unlocked the door, a smile exploding onto his face. Oh, my lady, thank you ever so much. Tell me, once my powers return, what is it you wish? I will make it so, as a token of my ultimate gratitude. Though I can't make you what I am. That's against the rules I had placed on me. But anything else, and I will do it for you. Thank you so much. Q gleefully walked out and bowed graciously to the Death Witch.

November chuckled again at this man. It has been a long time since he had been amused like this. Even in prison he can find joy, even if it is minuscule. "Around 2 Millenium ago I was gifted, cursed some would say, with Immortality to serve the Gods. The Gods of my world were fading away, or maybe their influence on mankind was. All the Gods had their champion. The 'Guardians' we were called. Our job was to strengthen the Gods control over mankind. It worked for awhile, until the Gods Abandoned us... I have been searching for them since. I am tasked eternally to serve the Gods in whatever they may need or want of me. Would you and your husband accept my servitude?" November explained and asked with a light tone of voice. He, after two thousand years would be able to do exactly what Athena herself wanted of him, to ensure the continuation of the Gods for all eternity.
