Knight-Commander: Is the rank that Amilia holds upon her return. It was formerly held by Arix as his actual rank within the castle as well as the unit. The Knight Commander is a direct guardian of the throne and the commander of the unit. Only one exists within the Judgment Corps. ranks at a time.
Knight-Marshal: A rank that cannot be simply earned through experience alone. This rank is about dedication as much as it is about experience. How to join:
The Judgment Corps. are not a unit you can just expect to excel at because you want to be a good swordsman and that’s that. No, instead you must be devoted to the throne of Hallowton and the Queen or King who warms the seat. Their word is law and order; they command the unit as if it is their guided hand. If the Queen or King is unable to give out direct orders or has fallen to some terms then it is the job of the core to protect the throne at all costs and ensure that a new king or queen may rise in the fallens place in order to take charge and order.
Becoming a member of the Core requires physical dedication as well. Most recruits never see the side of Merjutsu where they learn anything about it or use it. Instead recruits often get beat down and physically abused in order to harden them for battle and for training. They will be trained to fight with the basic laws of the sword and will be trained to go beyond their physical limits until they are ready to learn the foundation of Merjutsu. It is easy to join the core but not easy to remain part of it.
Description of the Core:
The Judgment Corps. get their name from the Judgment that Arix once commanded before his departure from the old realm. The Core recognizes Arix as the founding member and master of the order even if he is no longer with them in life. The core is trained to be the most elite unit of the crown which uses Merjutsu as its primary fighting style, each member is required to learn the language of the lost Drow people. Each member is required to wear the armor of the crown with the Elven Star and the colors of Hallowton upon its emblem. The Judgment Core is a strike force which doesn’t mingle with other units under the crown, they act on their own and will often move in ahead of other units, even Hellsing, to clear an area or take down a threat. Under direct assault the Judgment Corps. will defend the castle at all costs and only a handful of its members will engage enemies outside of the castle walls.
The Code of the Judgment
Without the Dark, there can be no Light,
We have purpose
Without the Lie, there can be no Truth,
We have purpose
Without the War, there can be no Victory,
We have purpose
Without the Death, there can be no sacrifice,
We have purpose
Without the Hope, there can be no Future,
We have purpose
Without the Loyalty, there can be no Core,
We have purpose
Without the Throne, there is nothing,
And we would have no purpose
