History:
Subject Delta was once a deep sea diver who found Rapture when investigating the ocean, although he was at first a celebrity as he was the only source of information on what was going on above Rapture, he was soon incarcerated into prison due to paranoia that he was a government spy. He was then soon converted into a Big Daddy under the alias Subject Delta and assigned to protect Eleanor Lamb, who had been turned into a Little Sister to harvest ADAM, however Sofia Lamb sent men after them to retrieve her daughter and force Subject Delta to commit suicide through the newly developed Hypnotism plasmid.
Years later Eleanor, although broken from her conditioning as a mindless drone, still remembered Subject Delta, her ‘father’ fondly, and decided to reunite with him. Therefore she managed to resurrect him through a vita-chamber and through visions and messages from Bridget Tenebaum went off on his journey to find out about his past since Elanor had no choice but erase the last ten years of his memory in order to destroy his conditioning as a Big Daddy.
Throughout his journey he learned about what happened to Rapture and its eventual downfall as well as meet individuals who had gone insane due to the over-use of plasmids. Eventually he finds Eleanor in a detention facility where Sofia attempted to end the bond between them once and for all by stopping Eleanor’s heart just long enough to break the bond, thus beginning the death of Subject Delta as the bond would kill him both due to the innate conditioning. However he survives this despite all odds and Eleanor teleports to his side, but before they could escape from Rapture there was a bright light and Delta felt like he was pulled into something, instinctively he grabbed Eleanor’s hand and the two of them were brought into Genesis.

History:
Born in Rapture Eleanor was isolated from the other children because of her mother, Sofia Lamb, however she was an intelligent girl with a rebellious streak in her as she often escaped from her homes and went to meet the other children of Rapture. That all ended when she was seven when her mother was taken in by Andrew Ryan and she was soon turned into a Little Sister, bonded with Subject Delta, however that ended when her mother forced Delta to kill himself and thus broke the bonding between them for the moment.
After that incident her mother worked hard to break the conditioning that Elenaor had suffered while she was a Little Sister and when she did so she began experimentation to create the perfect human. Elenaor would work with her mother on these experimentations despite her objections to it, because she saw that Sofia had became a hypocrite in that she subjected the inhabitants of Rapture to her will, inducting them into the ‘Rapture family’, and when Sofia realized that Eleanor was immune from the genetic damage that usually occurred she was subjected to large doses of ADAM and was glorified as a ‘messiah’ by her mother.
Wanting to escape because of this she resurrected Subject Delta with the help of Bridget Tenenbaum and watched as he fought and killed people to reunite with her. Because of the innate bond she still referred to Delta as her ‘father’ and seeing the kindness he gave to many people, as well as saving all the little sisters, she understood what it meant to be human and in turn became kind towards the little sisters while she remained bitter towards the inhabitants of Rapture.
When Delta’s bond with her was severed she remained optimistic of that Delta was alive as she teleported to him to aid him in their escape. However before they could be free from her mother’s grasp she was teleported to Genesis with her ‘father’ as they began their journey to explore the world and see if they could find a new life here.
