Yep. For once I agree with something Daikus said. This site has been a chore for a long time. Don't get me wrong. I really loved RPing with some of the people on here. Others not so much. No names of course. But for a while it's been like I've had to drag myself her and post, while other RPs here I couldn't do anything, but wait on the outcome. This has nothing to do with Nadir, or maybe it does seeing as the only reason I made it this far was to bring Leon back, now that thats done I really see no reason to stick around.

I think in my time here. I've had one person mention one of my characters in a non-negative way. Once. Said person was also responsible for I think the only thread I've ever had on here that wasn't A) Open. B) Plot C) I specifically asked for. I spend a lot of time researching my canons and developing my OCs, so it's kinda sucks that literally I can't recall any other time someone saying something about them. I don't normally say anything about that, but it feels bad when it feels like no one really cares.

That being said, I don't plan to just up and vanish. No, cause I hate when people do that when I'm in a thread with them. I plan to finish out the few threads I have here, and then I'll be gone until....I don't know when. Perhaps when it stops being a chore to post here. It's bad I need another site just to deal with the stress of this site. If you guys think I'm the first to feel this way again you'd be wrong. Including myself, I know the count to be at least at 4. Who are they? Well if you pay attention enough you'll find em. Again giving out names isn't how I do things. I think I'll post one more stand alone topic but thats most likely going to be it for me for a moth after everything wraps up at least, but most likely more count on it being indefinite.

I can count much higher than 4 the number of people who are tired of the drama that has plagued this site for the past couple of months by, strangely enough, the same group of people every time.

They're tired of seeing legitimately good characters being called OP'd.
They're tired of people talking about how much they suck when their posts don't reach a certain word count.
They're tired of people who make half a dozen characters with a bulk list of abilities to be noticed when if they put that much effort into one character they'd be closer to their goal
They're tired of people who has to stand on par with everyone and completely disregard that character's own achievements and what they did to get there.
They're tired of people getting personally attached to characters and places that don't exist and denying good plot opportunities because of it.
They're tired of people talking about how great their character is while not giving a crap about anyone else's.
They're tired of people complaining how boring and slow it is.

The only reason this forum is stressful for a couple of people is because they let it be stressful. I, and many others, don't give a flying shit if our characters are acknowledged or not. It's nice when they are but that isn't why we come on. We come on during our downtime to relax and have fun. And you'll notice that typically the people who are like that, are the ones that get noticed. This is not a novel you're trying to get published to become an author. It's a role playing game. Keep it up and pretty soon every forum that doesn't go your way is going to feel like a chore.
