Special Abilities: Saia is a Level 4 esper with an ability called Offense Armor. Her ability allows her to control the nitrogen in the atmosphere in order to create a few centimeters of solidified nitrogen that act as a barrier. She can use the barrier to attack or defend and the primary function of her ability is to create an armor of super-compressed nitrogen around her that redirects attacks away. Her defensive ability is automatic, so projectiles like bullets or explosives have no effect on her, as they will be redirected, even if she is unaware of their presence.
Her power is so exceedingly great that she can even control compressed masses of nitrogen in order to lift up a car and deal powerful blows. She can also use her ability to propel objects and create lances of nitrogen which she can fire from her hands to attack her enemies with. However, her effective range is very small as it only extends a few centimeters from her palm.
Because of her ability, she carries around a small canister of nitrogen for use at all times.

History/ Brief Details: Saia is an operative of the Queen's faction. Her job is to monitor the upper echelons of the Academy City and prevent them from gaining too much power and getting out of hand. She's also involved in operations of eliminating the elements of unrest within Academy City.
Saia is a Child Error.(A term used for orphans who were abandoned by their parents in Academy City) When she was young, she transfered to another Child Error facility where she is under the teaching of a scientist as part of an experiment called Dark May Project, whose aim was to create a personal version of Number 1's ability by using a similar pattern of ability operation, using the cognitive patterns of Number 1 himself as reference in order to optimize the Personal Realities of certain espers taking part in the experiment.
Though the details are not mentioned, Saia succeeded in creating an automatic self-defense capability, making her the Ace of the project. The project was eventually pushed to bankruptcy when one of the subjects went beserk and ended up killing all the scientists in charge.
Personality: Despite being a powerful Psychic, Saiai is one of the most mellowed-out characters in the faction. She enjoys B movies and goes as far as creating a fake ID to bypass her inability to watch a mature-rating horror movie. She also likes to tease the other members of the faction and likes to add "super" to her remarks.
She also has a strong sense of justice, helping people who are a threat to her life and not allowing the other members of the faction to kill when she's with them. She is described as someone who could not do anything to prevent terrible things from happening despite knowing about it.

Special Abilities: In spite of being the only member to lack any esper abilities, she proves to be skilled in close combat and is proficient with using an array of concealed weapons. Upon her encounter with another powerful esper, she makes use of a tape of whiteout and an electronic device to create a fuse that can cut through various objects. Usually, the fuses are connected to dolls with explosives within them. In fact, this array of traps is a pre-planned trap Frenda set up herself throughout the facility which transforms it into a battlefield where she gains an upper hand almost at the first moment the fight begins.
Her expertise in traps and concealed weaponry is good enough that she's able to drive a powerful esper into a corner without using any special abilities. She is also somehow able to conceal missiles in her skirt, and has a hidden stilleto in one of her shoes. Unfortunately, she is prone to losing her focus in the battle when the advantage goes to her side and she herself admits that she underestimates her opponents a lot.

Personality: She and the Queen have a sort of a master-servant relationship, with Frenda usually being scolded for her fits of unprofessionalism at work. Out of combat, she seems to enjoy talking about ordinary things girls her age would talk about; she also values her legs highly, saying that it is her pride as a woman.
In battle, though, Frenda portrays determination when she encounters enemies, even to those whom she knows is more powerful than herself. Her moves can be really difficult to read as her humorous remarks often serve as a diversion; this in turn, combined with her cunning style of combat, can prove to be a deadly combination. She is also somewhat vicious and possesses a blood-thirsty nature, indicating that she enjoys taking away the life of someone as if she was destined to end them.
