Age: Around 14-15. Although Misaki’s appearance suggests that she is much older than the typical middle schooler. When confronted about the subject, she hinted that it may or may not be true and that with her powers, no one could know for sure.

Misaki is often see carrying a shoulder-bag, which she keeps one of her most important items in, her remote control.
Special Abilities: Her ability is called Mental Out. A very powerful ability involving the human mind which includes reading other people's memories, changing a person's personality by means of brainwashing, telepathy, memory elimination, amplification of will, reproduction of thought, and transplantation of emotions; all requires her to touch the target.
Misaki has been repeatedly shown to use a remote control to use her ability. The remote control works as a trigger to channel telepathic waves to the target she wishes to use her powers on; thus overcoming the shortcomings of her powers. It has also been shown that she can somehow prevent the use of powers and movement of other people using the remote. This has yet to be elaborated upon by the author, though.

Even though the use of remote control widens her telepathic range and allows her to use her powers without touching the target, her reliance in a machine creates a weak point for her, meaning that if the tool where to break down, she would be certainly left at the opponent's mercy. Needless to say, her powers only works on humans as it was the structure and functions of human's brain that she was studying in her Ability Development Program.
Also, unique with powers, is some of the people that have been tampered and controlled by Misaki display the star markings (Misaki's eyes are stars on them) on one or both their eyes. Lastly, her powers seem to have no effect on high-level Electromasters(espers who manipulate electricity) since proficient electromasters usually emit magnetic/electric fields around them that block telepathic waves.

History/Brief Details: Misaki is Academy City's strongest telepath and the fifth strongest of only seven Level 5's of the city. She's a mysterious Level 5 student in Tokiwadai Middle School that goes under the alias "The Queen" which refers to her having the largest faction within the school. Her regality is expressed in that she has the members of her faction refer to her as Queen or Shokuhou-sama, and is often seen having high tea with an assortment of decadent pastries.
Not much is known about her past but it is confirmed that she was incredibly wealthy when she was young.
Personality: Misaki exudes a seemingly childish, playful and flirtatious personality, with a habit of baiting people into pointless duels of words; the kind of person that flaunts a bucket load of mischief. She also has a soft spot for sweet things and likes making cutesy poses, such as winking while making a peace sign. However, within this frivolous facade belies a much more cunning and calculating nature.
In reality, she's cold, manipulative and downright ruthless in addition to her tendency to boast off her status as the most powerful mental-based esper. She also demonstrates willing to use mind-controlled people as human shields.
Misaki prefers to work behind the scenes if possible, and never shows herself in public, instead using her followers or mind-controlling people to act as her representatives when talking with individuals. It is hinted that she has a strong dislike for public appearances, and this is why whenever the school or city needs a "face" to promote certain public events, she and her faction will simply stand aside and let the other Level 5's hog all of the attention and responsibilities.
It it also hinted that Misaki rarely uses her powers unless it is for intimidating people or when the situation calls for it. She describes 'modifying people's memories' as troublesome and takes loads of work.
Note: I want to apologize if Misaki’s power seems a little godmoddy, because it sort of is.(But if you watch the series, she's actually one of the most weakest Level 5's around since the others are 1000 times stronger than her, with a lot of mad hax) But as far as brainwashing goes, it’s up to whomever she interacts with as to whether or not they’d like to be her potential puppet. If she gets rejected, I'll just put up a new request with a new character :>
