Additional Note: I just wanted to explain about Loki – he is an existing RP character of mine from another site that I would like to bring over. Because of the premise of this site I have just kept his history/abilities the same as he has there, however if anything clashes with how things are here that cannot simply be explained away by him coming from a different dimension, then I am happy to alter it to better suit/fit
Name:
Loki
Aliases:
Maalik, (a member of) the Forsaken/the Shamed, Fallen
Age:
Loki’s exact age is unknown, but he is thought to be several centuries at least (this can be altered if you wish, just laziness stops me from committing to any particular age at this point as honestly I have never had anything in mind for him, but given his history/species I would expect him to be old)
Gender:
Male
Species:
Fallen Angel
Alignment:
Evil
Canon or Original:
Original
Date of Birth:
^ see above age… although physically he looks about 25, and lets say his birthday is 13th of January
Place of Birth:
The Astral planes
Physical Appearance:
Loki stands about 6’2 tall and has a lean, muscular build. He tends to dress in leather battle gear and is always seen in the company of his weapon – a six foot curved scythe, crafted using his own magic (prior to his fall) and black steel. His colouration is pale skin which contrasts with his shaggy raven black hair, shot through with random white/silver streaks. His eyes are an eerie, pupil-less silver. His teeth are sharper than a humans, with his canines in particular being over developed. In a similar fashion, rather than nails on his hands, Loki possesses black curved claws.
Loki, like all angels, possesses wings which he can choose to materialise (uncase) or hide (case) at will, although if wishing to use them, or when he is particularly irate or wound up his wings will automatically uncase themselves. His total wingspan is approximately 12 feet, and his wings have the same raven blue/black colouration of his hair, with the pinions trimmed in white.

Special Abilities:
After Loki’s fall his angelic abilities have been corrupted, causing his once purifying magic to corrupt into corrosive and destructive magic. Loki tends to use this in two ways a) to concentrate it into some physical thing that can be manipulated – e.g. lighting or an orb that can be thrown/cast (this is always black in colour, reflective of the colour of his magic). When this hits something it will react like acid and burn/eat through the object. In particular, Loki is fond of running black lightning through Gydja (his scythe), which acts as a conduit, transmitting and strengthening his magic. B) Loli’s magic can also be used in more subtle ways – to corrupt and taint. If this enters the bloodstream/soul it would act as poison to anyone not immune/affiliated with dark energy, or that does not have adequate purification/light energy to combat it. Conversely if Loki were to come into contact with purification/light magic/energy the same is true for him – if it is to strong for him to counter with his own, or he is to weakened to do so, it will essentially ‘purify’ (read destroy) him.
Loki also possesses enhanced strength, speed and agility to humans. His senses are again also better than your average humans, however they are not as keen as some demons – for example a werewolf.
Weapons:
Loki carries with him at all times a 6 foot scythe called Gydja (Heathen Princess, formerly Ansuz – divine breath). Gydja, is his angelic weapon – a weapon forged at the time of his coming of age by angelic smiths, combining special metal with the angel’s own magic to create them their perfect weapon, both physically and one that is completely in tune with their magics. Because of this link, when Loki was cast down and turned into a fallen, his weapon also altered to remain compatible with him, its shape contorting into something more sinister, and the once bright metal darkening into a tarnished black steel. After his fall, when Loki assumed his new identity, he also renamed his blade, claiming that she was reborn with him.

History:
Loki, at the time known under his birth name of Maalik was born and raised into the service of his Goddess, to whom he was like all his kind, bound to in both magic and soul. During his time with her Maalik rose through the ranks to obtain the position of captain, and looked set to rise higher, with several of his one time teachers ear marking him as likely to become the future General of all the Goddess’s army. During his lifetime the relationships between neighbouring Gods and Goddess’s were fought, and he was involved in several wars with rival deities and their followers. After one such battle, in which Maalik and his squad were separated from the rest of the army, he and his brothers – exhausted and heavily wounded, sought refuge close to an unaffiliated human village.
Unfortunately however, the villagers became aware of the angels and, in their fear of being seen to be harbouring them from any passing forces or of being dragged into a God war, the humans fell on and slaughtered the weakened supernaturals. Maalik alone escaped, barely making it back to his home where he fell unconscious and ultimately into a coma.
When he awoke some weeks later, he was greeted by the horrifying knowledge that the village in question had been claimed by his Goddess and on their repentance and conversion to her worship, she had pardoned them of the sins of killing her troupes. Additionally the war he had been fighting in had been resolved peacefully days after the battle than hurt his squad so grievously.
Driven crazy by the knowledge that his companions had not only fought and died for something so frivolous, but that the humans who had slaughtered them in cold blood had been favoured by his god over her own followers, Maalik returned to the village, disobeying his express orders to stay away and slaughtered every last human within, burning the buildings to the ground when he was finished. Infuriated by his mutiny, his Goddess cast him down into hell (or one of) stripping him of his angel status.
The pain of having his being burned of the purity of an angel, combined with the pains and horrors of the hell dimension left Maalik mentally shattered, clinging onto only the thought of vengeance to give him the strength to fight his way out of there and back into the lands of men, where he considered himself reborn, renaming himself after a God of old – Loki, the trickster god and enemy of all other gods, turned on by his brother and condemned to eternal punishment for his sins, and renaming his weapon – the one thing that survived the fall with him, being linked intimately to his magic – to a name in the old tongue to reflect his new stance, Heathen Princess.
From then on Loki has made it his mission in life to destroy and taint anything pure, holy or connected to any God or Goddess, believing them to all be the same and thus all guilty of the crimes against him. His fellow angels he views in the same light, as not one stood beside him when he was condemned. He hates them for their blind loyalty to their gods. Man also incurs his wrath, although his hatred to them is less violent. He views them as lessor and thus to be disdained, but also he despises them as they are seen above angels in the eyes of gods, despite their weakness. Where his race was born into servitude, they were born free and he loathes them for that.
It is impossible to say how much of Loki’s madness is a direct result of what happened to him, and how much is a physical change caused by the removal of all ‘purity’ from him when cast down.
