Full Basics

In Bigger Details

--{Outfit: InuYasha wears a fire-truck-red outfit. With all his traveling, you think he'd be a sore thumb, right? It consists of two top layers - a "shirt", more or less, and pants. The outfit is very loose, more more "flowy" in appearance than baggy, and is a Japanese-type outfit.
--{Small Details: He has white hair(more accurately, silver), and presumably has always had white hair, as a Hanyou. When he transforms into a human, it turns solidly black. His eyes are of a golden coloration in his Hanyou form, while being brown in his human form. Also, while he has dog ears which are white normally, he does not have them in his human form.
--{Skin: paleface He has a sort of pale, but fairly tanned, skin. With all this sexy, ya can't go wrong!

--{Weight: 143.6 LBS (Japanese)
--{Age: 200 physical years (including the 50 years pinned to the tree), but he appears to be 15 years old. It is inconclusive as to whether or not he has finished growing.

--{Race: Japanese
--{History Synopsis: When InuYasha was a lad, he used to play around in a village as a young boy. However, the villagers didn't take kindly to him because he was Hanyou, and not a full human. They despised, and most likely feared him and what he could become - they kept their children away and they pretty much went out of their way to make sure he felt unwelcomed.
In his early adolescence, when he was considerably much older human-years wise (200-50 years stasis = 150 years), he met and fell in love with a girl named Kikyou. However, their love was foiled by an even crueler man and demon (Naraku). When InuYasha was found trying to steal the jewel, Kikyou shot and arrow, which went through his heart (or near his heart) and pinned him to a tree.
50 years later his time, Kagome (the reincarnation of Kikyou) had managed to break the spell. Kagome was from the "future" (our time, respectively) and she had managed to make her way to his time via the well that was on her parents/grandparents land - it is notable that she most likely got through thanks to the jewel being "apart" of her. Originally, he states and acts like all humans are weak, and pretty much disgusting, but after some time spent traveling with Kagome, he warms up and begins to realize that this is not the case for him anymore. He is even found saving humans' lives on his own free will, in later episodes.

Defining Characteristics

--{Full Personality: InuYasha shares a lot of what one may typically consider flawed personalities. He is hot-headed, and quick to temper. Rash, he will rush in on a fight before considering his actions, and he is quick to stand up and defend himself even if the other might have meant no harm by their statement. He is also stubborn to a fault, and it takes him a while to try and see things the way someone else might when he feels his way is justified.
InuYasha doesn't warm up to strangers very well. In fact, it takes him a while to try to understand someone, and he almost seems happy on his own rather than trying to connect with others. However, he is strongly loyal to his friends in that he would go as far as to die for them, and his arguably even forms attachments with those he is closest towards. If you are his friend, you are his friend to the end, but to get to that level may take some time. He's not extremely funny, however, and seems to be more geared towards goals and accomplishments, or maybe even traveling and his close friends, more than he is anything else. He doesn't joke a whole lot, and some of his jokes can actually be taken the wrong way and they can be seen as "belittling" the person - but it's a fine line. When he does "joke" it's more dry and sarcastic, and it takes a crack at the person's flaw - whether it is a character flaw or just something where they messed up at, somewhere along the line.
He also has little to no respect for his elders, often using the affectionate title "hag" or "old hag" - things along those lines, to refer to them by. When someone wrongs him or hurts him, he is more likely to jump to anger than anything else, and it might possibly be difficult to try and find a time when he, himself, apologizes. He can admit he's wrong sometimes - but he cannot outwardly admit he was wrong. Quite possibly, he'd just rather not "look at" what he's done or how he's wrong.

The Power Wielded

--{User Attacks:
Iron Reaver Soul Stealer This is his most basic move. With this move, he uses his nails (or "claws") to literally rip through and dismantle his opponents. This move is very easily conducted and can completely destroy weaker opponents while damaging stronger opponents.
Flying Blades of Blood With this attack, InuYasha coats his hand with his own blood and flings it at his opponents. The "specs" of blood act as actual blades, able to cut through a lot of things...
--{Weaponry: Tessaiga
--{Weaponry Powers:
Red Tessaiga This attacks makes his sword glow red, and allows him to slice through and destroy barriers that his opponents might try to put up against him.
Backlash Wave: This attack allows InuYasha to use his sword in order to take the youki energy from his opponents and to fling it back at them.
Wind Scar Arguably the most basic attack of the Tessaiga. It allows the user to use the collision of youki between two enemies to create path to the enemy to unleash it's power upon.
Diamond Spear Blast This attack allows him to unlock the power of the Diamond shards that Housenki gave him....it is one of the most least used attacks
Dragon-Scaled Tessaiga It attack allowed InuYasha to find pockets of youki to cute through them. The dragon scales allow InuYasha to soak up to youkai energy of his enemies.
Black Tessaiga "Black Tessaiga was a result of Inuyasha's Dragon-Scaled Tessaiga absorbing the powers of Tenseiga's Meidou Zangetsuha."
