Amoura’s commonly seen decked out in armor similar to that of her vampiric sire, Ranka, only her’s has a combination of titanium and leather. The female normally stays in her vampire form and has black, straight hair a few inches shy from her waist which is peppered with white strands. Her eyes are almond shaped and a bright silverish hue—nowadays she’s taken to wearing sunglasses, despite the time of day, to hide this when she’s not wearing her armor.
If she shifts to her demon form, Amoura’s eye color changes to yellow and her pupil slits—this attributes to the reptilian-like look she has. Her entire body is covered in dark blue scales and her hair also scales over.
Personality:
Ever since her return from an alternate dimension Tajna Rasha threw her into, Amoura had changed drastically from the way she used to be. She was trapped in a world where her creator, Mundus, had finally taken over the human world and merged hell with it—it was a nightmare that she had to endure for over twenty-five years with a supposed sister. When she finally returned to her original dimension, she had only been gone for twenty-five days.
Amoura had become quieter, choosing to sink into her thoughts, memories and just about anything else that could be buzzing about in her head rather than interact with those she once considered family.
Amoura started spending more and more time away from Devil May Cry doing nothing to help and rarely stayed in contact when she was gone. Weeks to even a month at a time could pass before she’d bother returning only to be gone after a few days of settling in. She hadn’t told anyone what had happened yet.

*She was brainwashed at a young age and told that humans were weak, inferior and should be eliminated. Amoura agreed to help as best as possible to punish those souls or go to the physical plane to destroy any and all.
*Amoura is brought to the physical world, given a body and goes to do as her father commanded. However, she runs into a relative she didn’t know existed: her half-brother Michael who’s a pure-blooded vampire. Michael was sympathetic towards humans but getting through to Amoura was a lost cause for the time being.
*The hybrid began to start weeding out humans, but at a slow pace. It took years but Michael was starting to get through to her about how this crusade was wrong and that Mundus was the enemy, not humans. To achieve this, Michael took Amoura out to homes and let her watch families interact with each other.
*One day, Amoura went out to continue her assignment from Mundus but stopped herself from killing a couple. One of the humans kept exclaiming about taking him and not his fiancée—she let both go and stopped killing humans since that day and turned against her “family”.
*Her sudden rebellion was unexpected and did not sit well with everyone back at “home”. Others were sent after Amoura to stop her from fighting against them. Thanks to Michael’s help, she was kept safe and fought back.
*To ensure her safety, Michael helped her build a seal that she could command that sealed off her unstable demon powers that her creator could possibly use to control her long enough for self-annihilation.
*When Amoura received word of Mundus’ demise, it was safe enough for her to start exploring the world again with Michael sometimes joining in. She still had run-ins with die hards, though.

*While out on a trek through Domino City, she had a run-in with the all-too-famous Dante at one of the local pubs and he challenged her to a fight. If she won, she could walk away but if she lost, she had to work for him at Devil May Cry. Amoura had little experience in fighting at this time and lost.
*At Devil May Cry, she met Ranka—her vampiric sire—and the three of them worked on missions together.
*It was all going smoothly until an entity known as Veran appeared. Whatever it was, it haunted Amoura with visions of: an apocalyptic future with fire, ash and blood, of the dead –probably the people she killed—haunting her everywhere she went, and other unspeakable horrors that she tries to avoid recalling. Veran somehow breaks her seal and Amoura loses control of her demonic powers. Ranka shows up, shoots her and while she was close to death, he fed some of his blood to her—this activated her vampiric genes. Instead of exploring the new powers that came with this, she chose to add yet another seal to keep herself in between.
*Veran, at another encounter, cursed her vision: everything she saw would slowly age and rot, regain its youth and repeat the process over and over again. This caused Amoura to tear out her eyes and wear a blindfold—somehow, she still saw it all.
*Ranka finds Amoura in Domino City and gets her back to Devil May Cry to help her begin the long process of recovering. The realistic nightmares were the easy part—he had to put up with her nearly losing her mind countless times and that usually entails violence on her part. To begin her recovery, he started teaching her the easy basics of vampirism and anything else that could assist in distracting.
*During her third year, Dante went missing and it was up to her and Ranka to look after Devil May Cry. Fortunately, more joined the ranks so she could continue to cope. When the fourth year came around, she was stable enough to venture out of Devil May Cry without having a breakdown—or wearing the blindfold since her eyes regenerated, finally-- and joined in on missions with Ranka.
*While exploring Dumary Island, they have a run in with someone from a supposed council who, briefly, looked like Dante. A fight breaks out and the “good guys” escape with severe wounds but very much alive.
*A big surprise: Sparda returns. He offers his assistance to Devil May Cry during this time of war against the council and another opposing group (I forgot, alright? STFUUUUU D8<). He also offers to help Amoura control her demonic powers but she refuses.
*New adversaries called the “Sisterhood” appear and Amoura begins to use her Waking Nightmare more often on her foes. It was one of few times she managed to summon familiars to aid her in battle. There were more attacks from the Sisterhood throughout Domino City and at DMC itself.
*Others help the war but don’t exactly fully join DMC. Tori, Nex and Shinta were their names. It was thanks to Shinta Amoura realized something that she had chosen to keep at the back of her mind: she loved Ranka. Amoura chooses to not act on her feelings.
*Sparda, Ranka and Amoura venture into hell to find clues as to who the Council are. Down there, they find Dante had betrayed them and takes his guns back from them. A fight ensues but they retreat back to Devil May Cry.
*While fighting against another Council member, Amoura gets sucked into another dimension and the rest of her vampiric powers awake due to the situation she was trapped in. He began to tear away her seal that kept her demonic side at bay but before it was, she’s thrown back to Devil May Cry. Ranka takes this time to begin serious training with her and Amoura obtains better armor for future protection.
*The trainings last for quite a while until Amoura began to gain enough confidence in herself to go solo on missions. Still, sometimes he had to interfere since she’ll somehow goof things up. Stupid Amoura.
*Due to her not taking in enough blood, Amoura ends up mercilessly killing someone in a fit of bloodlust and Ranka decides to have her drink his blood once more to become a Nosferatu. Amoura accepts, but after taking it, she realizes to her horror that Ranka had been betraying Devil May Cry behind everyone’s back—Ranka then betrays her that night. Heartbroken, she exclaims that she’ll kill him if she sees him again before escaping.
*Daikus shows up with Ranka’s claw and slams it down onto the desk, stating that he’s dead and that she should have watched what she said. Now shattered, she takes his gun, Quicksilver, and departs from Devil May Cry.
*After disappearing for quite some time, Sparda seeks her out and challenges her to a duel. If she wins, she can go but if he wins, she has to return to DMC. Technically, Amoura won the fight (SHUT UP, ROSS!) but guilt overpowers her—she returns to help DMC.
*The two return to Dumary Island and again run into the same Council member with the big armor (I forgot Mr. Perfect’s name. I’ll just call him Shiny). So, a big battle goes down between Shiny, Sparda and Amoura. Sasha turns up but doesn’t do much. Shiny comes close to killing Amoura, her Devil Trigger activates and she nearly devastates the island as a result. Sparda takes the unconscious Amoura back to DMC. She doesn’t recall what she did.
*Sparda manages to find a way to take out the part of her demonic heritage that would cause Mundus to have sway over her while in demon form. Training begins but she finds little confidence in her abilities since she got used to being a vampire. Regardless, she kept trying with him.
*Ranka returns and the truth of his betrayal is revealed. Regardless, Amoura found it difficult to trust him again. After he slipped some of his blood into the packets she drinks, everything was explained. However, before she could talk to him she’s called out on a mission.
*Amoura has a very unfortunate encounter with another member of the council. Amoura meets death for the first time at his hands.
*Amoura descends to hell but is met with difficulty during her trip back to the surface. It was long, tiresome and she didn’t have all of her abilities at her disposal. In short, she was almost rendered to a human-like state until she got out.
*Just when she thought she was home free and able to return to DMC, Tajna Rasha decides to just throw her into something similar to hell: another dimension in which Mundus took over, Sparda was killed along with Dante and everyone else she considered family, and where her alternate self is one of the top demons.
*Amoura meets her sister in this realm and joins forces with her to try to fight against Mundus and –oh, gods—herself. All the while, she keeps hoping that everyone at home will find a way to get her back and maybe she can take her sister as well from all of this.

*Fifteen years roll by and she decides to depart from the large group of survivors for a short time to figure out how to get back. Maybe she can take them all home with her where it’s safe. Her sister discouraged the idea but there was no point in stopping Amoura when she was set on something.
*During her search, Amoura kept having run-ins with her alter self but no fighting ensued. The other her felt it best to just keep talking to her, try to coax ideas into her head to get her to join. Thus far she had been unsuccessful. Using her power, she starts making herself appear in Amoura’s mind and they have arguments for hours. Oh, lovely, she’s arguing with herself…literally.
*At the seventeen year mark, the “Other Amoura” starts sending demons at her, hoping that’ll somehow start to break her. This created unease in Amoura since, technically, they were the same. What if she were to become what she is: a cold-hearted monster hell bent on destruction?

This is the first time she was aware of this happening and they fight throughout the remains of the city, causing destruction wherever they went. Encounters like this were often, but only another one would leave her in a state where she had no choice but to Devil Trigger.
*Finally, after twenty-five years, the rebels gather and they assault the opposing side. Amoura chose to take on herself –oh snap—to help with a possible victory. Again, Amoura snaps into her Devil Trigger and they fight. Amoura doesn’t remember how this happened, but somehow, their fight tore open a rift back to her world. Amoura gets sucked into it but before she is, her “other self” sends a black mass after her. It fuses with her body soon as she returned. Upon her arrival, she finds out she’s only been gone for twenty-five days.
*So, Amoura got a pretty bad problem. Aside from the nasty nightmares in her head from Veran now she has to deal with her “other self” influencing her from wherever she’s at. It takes comical turns since scenery changes in her head a lot but it’s an internal battle she hasn’t told anyone about.

*The trainings last for quite a while until Amoura began to gain enough confidence in herself to go solo on missions. Still, sometimes he had to interfere since she’ll somehow goof things up. Stupid Amoura.
*Due to her not taking in enough blood, Amoura ends up mercilessly killing someone in a fit of bloodlust and Ranka decides to have her drink his blood once more to become a Nosferatu. Amoura accepts, but after taking it, she realizes to her horror that Ranka had been betraying Devil May Cry behind everyone’s back—Ranka then betrays her that night. Heartbroken, she exclaims that she’ll kill him if she sees him again before escaping.
*Daikus shows up with Ranka’s claw and slams it down onto the desk, stating that he’s dead and that she should have watched what she said. Now shattered, she takes his gun, Quicksilver, and departs from Devil May Cry.
*After disappearing for quite some time, Sparda seeks her out and challenges her to a duel. If she wins, she can go but if he wins, she has to return to DMC. Technically, Amoura won the fight (SHUT UP, ROSS!) but guilt overpowers her—she returns to help DMC.
*The two return to Dumary Island and again run into the same Council member with the big armor (I forgot Mr. Perfect’s name. I’ll just call him Shiny). So, a big battle goes down between Shiny, Sparda and Amoura. Sasha turns up but doesn’t do much. Shiny comes close to killing Amoura, her Devil Trigger activates and she nearly devastates the island as a result. Sparda takes the unconscious Amoura back to DMC. She doesn’t recall what she did.
*Sparda manages to find a way to take out the part of her demonic heritage that would cause Mundus to have sway over her while in demon form. Training begins but she finds little confidence in her abilities since she got used to being a vampire. Regardless, she kept trying with him.
*Ranka returns and the truth of his betrayal is revealed. Regardless, Amoura found it difficult to trust him again. After he slipped some of his blood into the packets she drinks, everything was explained. However, before she could talk to him she’s called out on a mission.
*Amoura has a very unfortunate encounter with another member of the council. Amoura meets death for the first time at his hands.
*Amoura descends to hell but is met with difficulty during her trip back to the surface. It was long, tiresome and she didn’t have all of her abilities at her disposal. In short, she was almost rendered to a human-like state until she got out.
*Just when she thought she was home free and able to return to DMC, Tajna Rasha decides to just throw her into something similar to hell: another dimension in which Mundus took over, Sparda was killed along with Dante and everyone else she considered family, and where her alternate self is one of the top demons.
*Amoura meets her sister in this realm and joins forces with her to try to fight against Mundus and –oh, gods—herself. All the while, she keeps hoping that everyone at home will find a way to get her back and maybe she can take her sister as well from all of this.

*Due to the nature of the situation, Amoura had to think collectively rather than individual—she had to set aside her personal desires in order to keep the humans and demons against her father alive. It was all about survival and not satisfying the emotional needs.
*Amoura and her sister go on sabotage missions to stop production of weaponry meant to slay the rebels. None of them were easy and they both had close calls. This went on for years and years. While it didn’t leave a huge dent, it helped a significant amount with keeping everyone alive.
*Surprise, another betrayal happens. One of the demons in the group had been allied with Mundus all along and everyone was swarmed. Amoura and her sister did all they could to hold them back, but in the end, they couldn’t save all the humans. Unable to do much else, they had no choice but to flee together.
*At the end of eight years, Amoura had given up hope that her “family” will save her. More humans were found and her sister saw to it that none of them would decide to betray. Still, Amoura had her doubts that it’ll last this time.
*Fifteen years roll by and she decides to depart from the large group of survivors for a short time to figure out how to get back. Maybe she can take them all home with her where it’s safe. Her sister discouraged the idea but there was no point in stopping Amoura when she was set on something.
*During her search, Amoura kept having run-ins with her alter self but no fighting ensued. The other her felt it best to just keep talking to her, try to coax ideas into her head to get her to join. Thus far she had been unsuccessful. Using her power, she starts making herself appear in Amoura’s mind and they have arguments for hours. Oh, lovely, she’s arguing with herself…literally.
*At the seventeen year mark, the “Other Amoura” starts sending demons at her, hoping that’ll somehow start to break her. Day in and day out, she could barely rest for fear of a demon finding and trying to kill her. Tactics were eventually figured out and she adjusted accordingly. Another failure for alter self.
*”Other Amoura”, with her father’s permission, takes out a large portion of the city and single handedly takes down three bases where rebels resided. This created unease in Amoura since, technically, they were the same. What if she were to become what she is: a cold-hearted monster hell bent on destruction?
*Another confrontation causes Amoura to snap into her Devil Trigger. This is the first time she was aware of this happening and they fight throughout the remains of the city, causing destruction wherever they went. Encounters like this were often, but only another one would leave her in a state where she had no choice but to Devil Trigger.
*Finally, after twenty-five years, the rebels gather and they assault the opposing side. Amoura chose to take on herself –oh snap—to help with a possible victory. Again, Amoura snaps into her Devil Trigger and they fight. Amoura doesn’t remember how this happened, but somehow, their fight tore open a rift back to her world. Amoura gets sucked into it but before she is, her “other self” sends a black mass after her. It fuses with her body soon as she returned. Upon her arrival, she finds out she’s only been gone for twenty-five days.
*So, Amoura got a pretty bad problem. Aside from the nasty nightmares in her head from Veran now she has to deal with her “other self” influencing her from wherever she’s at. It takes comical turns since scenery changes in her head a lot but it’s an internal battle she hasn’t told anyone about.
*After having to deal with the idea of her friends being dead, here they are, but she’s remained distant since she returned about seven months ago. No one really knows what she does while she’s gone from DMC.
